You know what I think would be fun little twist? Awarding bonus points at the end for things like: "best teamwork", "prettiest restaurant", "most automation", and no failure bonus ^^
Predetermined but secret bonuses would be great. It would result in teams trying to predict what they are and decorating for them.
@@BOOBUFESTUU so you mean like, they could give them a list of 4 bonuses at the begining BUT they only actually get one, however they don't know WHICH one it is until the end? If it was a large amount of points like 10, that could be a TOTAL game changer!
@@SarahJSweetheart more just they tell them there will be bonuses for certain things but not tell them what those things are.

Ohh that talk about dirty fries (2:26:13) gave me a thought. What about a new main that only shows if you have fries, called "Loaded Fries"? You have to chop meat, cook it, combine with fries, and top with chopped cheese. A real PITA main item. Maybe since it needs a side as an ingredient, it also can never combine with other sides when ordered?
Poutine is one I'd like. No clue how they would get gravy, though.

Look at the plateupenhancment mod you can set it to always drop an item that can be used for automation. Its a bit cheaty but makes for a lot of fun on solo runs.

BeeUp is the expansion/dlc that adds honey as an ingredients, and you have a honey-themed restaurant and beekeeper costumes for your characters... or the Lewis Bee Costume
Question for everyone in the comments. I saw that Ped and Sips posted their teams perspectives of the tournament. But have any of the other teams? I really wanna watch all their perspectives but i havent been able to find them.

I love learning about all the little details they put in the game whenever Alastair's on stream with them. Like how the shapes tells you which player number they are.. Circle is player 1, no 2 sided shape so we skip that, triangle is player 2, square is player 3, and I assume if they were a 4 player team, 4th player would be a pentagon? (I'll have to find a vod of a 4 player team to verify that, but I mean, if Alastair says so, I have no reason to not believe him)
EDIT: Kirsty, Briony, Zylus and Rythian were streaming the game while I was watching this VOD, and nope, the shape has nothing to do with the order the names appear in haha (and the 4th shape is an hexagon)
It could have been a cross symbol for the player 2, thats not exactly what the theme is but its two lines i guess

Coming from watching the Red Radishes vod, this is so funny. They had no idea they were win and were working so hard
So for your NEXT plate up tournament, I have a few points of feedback :3
- Only have FOUR teams, then, everyone can fit on the screen
- If you wanted MORE teams, you could do a PROPER tournament (as in, 2 videos of 4 teams, then the 2 winners face eachother in a head too head)
- Try to make sure only ONE person is speaking at once. There were many times multiple people were speaking which made it VERY difficult to hear what people were saying.
- Bonus points awarded at the end! For example, 5 points for "prettiest restaurant" and 5 points as a "no failure" bonus! (They wouldn't know about these bonuses until they are announced at he end and added to the final scores - potentially completely changing the rankings which would be fun!)
- The setup of having the team on the left and the bingo card with crossed out items on the right was GREAT! But you could also compare ALL the bingo cards at once on screen so viewers can compare progress!
- Speaking of bingo cards, on mobile, some of them were difficult to read ( just clarifying these squares on the odd occasion would be enough)

This was an in-house tournament. Skoottie has a lot of good PlateUp runs (I particularly liked the Golden Corral), but he's not related to the Yogscast.
