Having the werewolf be an orphaned peasant girl who aspired to fight and become a knight in the medieval times would be a good base I think. I could see the other knights-in-training saying she’s too feral or untamed to be a knight but told her if she survived in the woods alone for the knight, she could train with them. Like a hazing ritual. Worst comes to worst, she’s attacked at night and comes back as a werewolf, only to kill the boys and dawn their armor when they come to scare her in the woods
Maximum Fall Vibe Idea: Fall drinks (PSL, apple cider, mulled wine, ect...) as witches. Just everything about fall smooshed into a witchy character with full cozy levels
I like to imagine that maybe these characters are all, like… anti-heroes? And the witch they hate is the ACTUAL Main Villain? Perhaps she pits them against a brigade of Hero Witches, hoping both groups will kill each other! That would make me happy, haha (Also NONE of that is too dark! They’re all FANTASTIC ideas, actually!!!)
I think Zaleska would be a great name for the vampire girl. I think this would be a good name as not only would it tie to Vlad the Impaler (who was an inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula) as he had a daughter named Zaleska, but it would also reference the sequel to the 1931 Dracula film that came out in 1936, Dracula's Daughter, and in that movie the titular character was known as Countess Marya Zaleska.
Could also go with Marya (Which I also named by Vampire-Inspired Witch for Warlocktober 2023), which references Vlad the Impaler/Dracula's daughter again, but also contains "Mary", as in Virgin Mary, to reference the phenomena of statues of Virgin Mary crying tears of blood.
the absolute power this artist has to go from talking about character designs to breaking bad to Walter white being a fantastic villain is such a power move that I gotta respect
Maybe Rieka could be a nice name for the wolf lady. It has old german origins and one of its meanings is "power of the wolf". A little on the nose, but still, if it works, it works
I really love the vampire's cathdral dress. Her corrupted bridal finery reflecting the windows of the church wedding she will never have, her catholic guilt issue and just the vibe. So cool.
The dynamic between the sea monster and werewolf I think is really interesting! A sad and fun plot point could be that the werewolf really does start to think of the sea monster in a good light and defends her often, the sea monster begins to feel conflicted and almost wishes to be as good as she says she is but will time and time again fall back to her usual manipulation. The werewolf catches on and they have a falling out making it hard on the whole party to keep going with their quest and esp hard on the werewolf as I find the idea of werewolves to form very strong emotional bonds a nice touch to their character and what she thought was a friend find to be a bully to her instead would break her heart
amusing thought- the witch is actually someone whos trying their best to help people vampire lady - was dying and witch tried to save her life as best she could dr frankenstein - saw her grief and tried to help dr bring her father back but maybe she needs to connect magic with the person right before they die to bring them back so the already dead dad stays mostly dead sea creature - saw a young girl drowning so tried to help like the others werewolf - same as above yet since her magic isnt perfect it couldnt be a 100% back to life as normal and now all 4 are mad at her, shes terrified of facing them
These are all so cool! The Frankeinstein rendition is for sure my favorite, the silhouette is just so striking and the story is beautifully tragic. I also appreciate that you didn't make the daughter the monster, and that it's a callback to the original story. ( That being that a doctor made the monster. ) How you repurposed it into the girl kind of turning herself into a monster. Can the werewolf and seamonster be girlfriends?
Yeah, as a daughter who's very close to my dad, and have been dealing with some dark thoughts about loss, I found myself heavily relating to the tragedy of the Mad Scientist Girl. It was only after the video did I realize how rare it was to see the concept of a daughter trying to resurrect a lost father in stories. It's usually either a father or mother resurrecting his/her children, or if a child is resurrecting a parent, it's always the mother. It was a small but unique touch to go in this direction!
Idea: You could have the werewolf lady wearing armour as a symbol to who got her killed, almost like a big 'screw you' to the knights in training and showing that no matter what she does, she's still better than them? (Also a name for her could be something like Orfilia/Olivia or Rudi? They both mean Wolf and sound similar to names from her time period!)
I like the reoccurring red eyes as a representation of being blinded by rage and revenge. Whether it was intended or a choice because it's cool and spooky, I think it's good visual storytelling. Very cool.
These are absolutely phenomenal, both within the character designs and story writing. The vampire: I love the nod to classic Dracula while also allowing her to shine outside of that character type. Her backstory is sad yet her personality is so sweet and I think her design does a nice job at reflecting that. Werewolf: she's pretty cool and intimidating looking, I love the little red riding hood reference for her as well. The Frankenstein father and daughter: This is such a unique take on the idea of Frankenstein's monster, it creates for a dynamic duo honestly. They both look creepy and amazing at the same time, I'm so impressed with your design and how much of a story it tells on it's own. The sea creature: Her story is painfully tragic, it makes it all the more sad to see what is left of her after being cursed. She's so beautiful in a chaotic way. The way you connected the witch to all of them makes me hope for a part two so we can see her, this storyline and characters have sooo much potential !
A mish-mash of ideas that came to mind: maybe, the elderich monster of the deep has been the one who was cursed first timeline-wise, then came the vampire lady, werewolf girl, and the most recent one is our crazy doctor. They all have been looking for the witch separately before, but a recent lead has brought them together and now they have allied in their quest for revenge. Also, for names, I think Adolpha or Adolphine could do for our werewolf (meaning "an honorable and noble wolf").
It's not the exact same shade but the violent yellow of the dress that inspired your Frankenstein girl's dress reminds me a lot of arsenic green, and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the dye of that dress was also poisonous. That might be a fun detail to include into the characterization/design
Name ideas :D Vampire: Phyri (Fei-ree) - Vampires come from a disease, and Phyria was a part of the term. Phyri seems like a nice, and ironic, name Wolf Bleur (combination of Blair and Fleur) - Neither name has direct ties to werewolves, but I believe it was Fleur who married Bill Weasley in Harry Potter, so it has some ties - Blair was part of the mix as a tie to the Blood Moon, it doesn’t have a tie but it sounds sorta like blood- it works Dr Frankenstein Shelbie (Shell-bee) - Sounds like Shelly, and it’s cute :)) - full title would be Doctor Shelbie Cthulhu Eldren (elle-dren) - Eldren has slight ties to Eldritch, pronunciation wise. It sounds pretty nice imo!
With your original wedding dress idea for Vampire Girl, the tuberculosis backstory, and her having been very caring with an interest in medicine... maybe her partner and family died of the same illness and she spent years trying to find a cure. while caring for other tuberculosis patients, she finally got sick and succumbed to it herself. For a name I am imagining Elizabeth. It was one of the most popular women's names in 1897 (the year Dracula was first published) and means something along the lines of "God is my oath", which in this case would tie into the idea of the oath she made at her wedding. My second pick is Lillian, since Lilies symbolize... The joy of rebirth. Which would be quite ironic and tragic. It is another one of the popular names of the same year.
I think a cool reversal of the Frankenstein and Monster duo would be for the Monster to be named Dr. Frankenstein (Could've actually been a Doctor when he was living.. Who knows?) and for his daughter to be known as a/the monster because of irony and all that nonsense
Last headcanon (even though no one is gonna see my comments in order anyway): Sea Creature Girl. She maybe was more wealthy than some of the other characters, always surrounded by servants and other people, and even got an education (much wow)! Her untimely death, watching the people she loved get further and further away both in terms of distance, and also them... you know... actively dying deeply affected her ability to regulate her emotions. And her trauma only grew after she was brought back by the witch, not even seeing other sea monsters very often due to how giant the ocean is. Before meeting the others she was obsessed with collecting treasures, even sinking other ships, trying to make her long deceased family happy again. Maybe she deposits everything she finds at the wreck, hoping that either she will be released from her cursed existence, or hoping for any sign from the people she had loved. After meeting the group, she solely focuses on getting revenge and avoids getting close to anyone, knowing that another loss would break her for good. Maybe her name is... Caroline? not only popular around the 1700s, but also with meanings like "free woman" and "valuable", depending on which word root you look at. I also like it because it includes the word "coral". once again, a very ironic pick.
I feel like this girl gang would be amazing PCs for a horror rpg, the kind with many different endings, with which one you focused on most determining the "darkness" level
Our mad scientist lady's very undead sidekick for some reason reminds me of the Christine McConnell's video where she made a spooky family portrait and showed how to add height to a person (her husband)
And I really remember the Borsog from the original cryptid video you made and I think it's cute in its normal form but cooler and spooky in its demon form. Maybe the Borsog are the ones who gave the woman doctor tuberculosis for they can spread disease in the air and she didn't know they were there. To me, it sort of tied your vampire's story together. What do you think?
The werewolf being a knight works quite well, even in the time period. As you said WWs have been around for forever, and in the witch-hunt period a number of places still believed in WWs and such. In such times (and even prior) plenty of WW stories actually had the WW be a Harbinger of god/good will. Either way, kinda works for her to go after the witch after being transformed by not god.
I love this whole video and I love ALL OF THEM, which is why I agree that they could need a revamp/follow-up. It's fun to watch characters grow through some iteration :) You could also showcase a little more personality in terms of expressions, or them interacting in sketches. Vampire lady's dress is GORGEOUS but it reads more like formal wear/special occasion wear than regular wear, unlike the others who have less complex clothing. Maybe she needs some historical medical gear? Maybe the concept of stone/stained glass gargoyle could be combined with a vampires narrative?? I know eldritch woman has a mermaid-style body, but to me it kinda looks like her tentacles start right below her shoulders/collar bone??? Which would be awesomely creepy! Love the eyes all over. She's barely holding herself together... The vampire and the frankenstein girl probably go on sneaky "hunts" for fresh bodies to eat/experiment on. Vampire takes it upon herself to make sure no one dies, while frankenstein grows sympathetic to vampire and makes sure SHE has enough blood and is cared for. I bet vampire is lonely and needs some TLC
Names for the monster villians. Super cool designs by the way. Vampire -- Sabina (looked up gothic names, this sounded smart enough for a Carlisle inspired vampire) Werewolf -- Ciuta (Italian name that means little sheep...wink wink...nudge nudge) Frankenstein -- Victoria or Victoire Cthulu -- Dinah (sounds 1920s esque, but I found it on a list of given names from 1450 to 1650)
Is it just me, as soon as Kira said "ozymandias" my brain instantly went to the sadist dsmp animatic, just me? Okay. (Also that poem is one of my favorites)
I really want to know what the witch you mentioned in the video looks like, so I can't wait to see you draw her and I have a few questions to ask about her. Is she gonna be old like Baba Yaga or young like the Wicked Witch of the West? How did she manage to turn dead people into classical monsters? What drove her to do these things? Does she have a young apprentice in training to become a witch or warlock?
I think it would be cool to lean into a Roman inspo for your werewolf girl. Maybe she wanted to become a legionnaire as a young girl and some older boys who were training for the army would always make fun of her, leading inevitably to them playing a cruel prank on her, telling her if she could survive a night out in the woods, then she could join their group and train with them. And this naive , innocent girl takes them at their word and goes out into the forest one night to do just that, not knowing the boys were following her and intending on scaring her. So when she's out in the woods that night, the boys, dressed up as monsters, scare her and she runs away, deep into the woods. Eventually she would stumble upon her doom in the form of a den of rabid wolves, who tear her apart and eat her. And the the Witch brings her back as a werewolf, she kills the boys, and steals their armor. (A fun little reason her armor could be decorated with wolf motifs could be related to the story of Rome's founder being raised by a she-wolf and it's some sort of tribute to that.) But that's just my take. Either way, I really enjoyed the designs you made in this video, especially the Mad Scientist and her monster. Absolutely delightful!
I love all their designs! I suggest the name Anahita as a name for the Siren, Eldritch horror flapper, as it is the name of a kind goddess of water and that irony is just chef's kiss to me. Now I just really want to see the witch that cursed them all! I love your videos! Have a wonderful week!
I would be so down with a more gore-y drawing. I really love your original backstory for the Frankenstein girly. all your pieces are amazing I hope there will be more spooky pieces for October 💕
Love these! I am hella into darker stuff and would love a backstory where the witch's curse was cast BEFORE they died and that's the reason behind so many of their evil ways is because the process of dying was actually mind-losingly painful and horrific because they remember and felt every bit of being unnaturally alive through what should have killed them, but don't wanna get you demonetized for violence, lol. :)
The vampiress screams the name Lucille to me, 1. Because of the character Lucy Westenra from the original Dracula novel, and 2. Lucille sounds like a pretty fitting first name for an aspiring doctor character. And the sea monster girl feel like a Charlotte? Idk how to explain, but the first four letters could be a nod to the sea monster, Charybdis from Greek mythology. Plus, Charlottes a pretty classic name with no real time period in my mind. And the mad scientist feels like an Isabella. No real reason, lolz
Lucille from the movie Crimson Peak popped into my head when you mentioned that name especially the scene where she wore a similar red dress when she was first introduced. Also a lovely villain might I add
k.. hear me out- spooky season kira and fantasy nonsense kira team up to make some haunted mystic woods thingy, HEAR ME OUT- like a poison apple tree dress or a over-grown graveyard character, also these all look so cool :D
Vampire: Jacqueline or Jacklyn, similar to Jack the Ripper. Werewolf: Lyra or Lycara, similar to King Lycaon. Frankenstein: Victoria, since Dr. Frankenstein's first name is Victor. Cthulhu: Echidna or Scylla could work.
i wouldve loved to see a bit more body horror and darker aspects for the frankenstein girl !! loved this video and all the art and character designs and ur explanations for why ur including certain things, and the evolutions of the designs. thank u for this, rlly enjoyed it !!
I think the beauty and the beast lore can be easily added to the werewolf. I think the Frankenstein duo could be a bit of dr jerky and Mr. Hyde motif and I think the witch could be Baba Yaga as I can't think of any other witches off the top of my head that old or evil.
Ahhh such a cool set of designs again! Personally I would've loved to see a more body horror take on your Dr Frankenstein, but all the designs here hold up so well as it is. The cathedral dress, the body horror, the wolfknight theme, the entirety of the deep sea siren design - I love. happy halloween🎃
18:38 I'm going for a similar approach for my Lovecraftian/Eldritch Horror-inspired Witch mixed with Body Horror for Warlocktober 2023! Also, I'd love to see a villian inspired by Phantom of the Opera, The Mummy, & The Headless Horseman/Dullahan. Also, another suggestion for a Character Concept Project, an evil Cyberpunk gang inspired by Creepypasta characters or a team of X-Men-Inspired Mutants based on Cryptids!
Also, if you need any name suggestions for the Frankenstein-themed villainess, I personally think Electra would be a cool name, not only because Frankenstein's monster was brought to life by electricity, but also, it begins with "El" & ends in "A" like the name Elsa, which was the name of Baroness Elsa Frankenstein, the daughter of Ludwig Frankenstein, Elsa Frankenteen, the teenage Frankenstein-like girl from "Scooby Doo & The Ghoul School", & the actress who portrayed the Bride of Frankenstein's Monster, Elsa Lanchester!
Those are SO unique!!! I love them!!!!!! I did initially feel sad about the change on the siren character, but after some of the refining I think it turned out unarguably great!
the vamp dress is absolutely gorgeous but would probably be incredibly difficult to make- so any attempts on making it would definitely be appreciated that thing is stunning
The art for this video was amazing as always! It might be interesting if you added Monster Hunting Heroes who are hired by the witch to take out the monsters. Like a Van Helsing, werewolf hunter, etc.
When she mentioned The Owl House, I just got so happy lol :) (For anyone who is wondering, the owl house season 3 episode 1 airs on Disney channel at 9:00pm EST)
PLEASE design the witch and don’t hold back anything i love the ideas you had for these characters and would love a haged old witch or a beautiful tricking goddess witch. These wonderfully horrific
What if the witch they're trying to get revenge on was the protagonist who believed that they had lived a life of helping people but realises she caused a lot of damage and is trying to make amends. Perhaps thinking that werewolf and Eldrich girl deserved to live longer and gave them forms she thought fitted their environment that made them stronger, not realising that she just doomed them to an eternity of ostracization. And with the Frankenstein last she thought that taking her sanity would make her happy with whatever creature she came up with but ended up pushing her into obsession and immorality. Perhaps she even sparked the Salem witch trials and resulted in so many women being killed, all whilst being blissfully ignorant and uninformed.
I reckon the name Maria definitely would go well for your vampire lady although I’m not sure how much time period relevance it has… I see her as like this maternal figure of the group more than anything tbh - her cathedral dress gives me conscious vibes ya know like - almost a fallen hero who doesn’t want to be as bad as the witch who cursed her - maybe killing the witch is the only way to break the curse? I feel like the siren lady could have a human name and her given name - perhaps in her embrace of the legends about her she forgets her real name. I reckon it could be something cute like Lulu, but she presents herself as *insert cool name given to her by wary sailors*
I love the name Florence for the vampire girl, it doesn't have that many connections however, it feels fitting and was a somewhat popular name in that era.
OMG wtf these designs are sooo cool and interesting. i love the vampire's dress and the like frankenstein idea that was so cool. i love these so much omg
The new Monster High reboot is looking interesting, wasn’t expecting this take on Frankie, Draculaura, Lagoona, and Clawdeen bur I’m here for it! /j On a serious note, SOOO PRETTYYYYYYY
I want to see you cosplay the stained glass dress, like, right away. Oh, and I also love the siren is draped with pearls taken from destroyed pirate ships. Pearls do come from the sea you know. Maybe that is why she is more drawn to them and less to the gold and jewels. Love the wolf details on the sword esp. and LOVE a crazy character like your franky.

You should ABSOLUTELY make the vampire’s cathedral dress. PLEASE❤
Note on the purple dye thing for the werewolf: elderberries are purple and fairly easy to to turn into a dye so maybe that’s what the colour is?

The vampire and the frankenstein girl probably go on sneaky "hunts" for fresh bodies to eat/experiment on. Vampire takes it upon herself to make sure no one dies, while frankenstein grows sympathetic to vampire and makes sure SHE has enough blood and is cared for. I bet vampire is lonely and needs some TLC
the dr frankenstein design is my favourite thing ever
It’s hasn’t been a second but I already know this video is gonna be good.
Names for the monster villians. Super cool designs by the way.
Vampire -- Sabina (looked up gothic names, this sounded smart enough for a Carlisle inspired vampire)
Werewolf -- Ciuta (Italian name that means little sheep...wink wink...nudge nudge)
Frankenstein -- Victoria or Victoire
Cthulu -- Dinah (sounds 1920s esque, but I found it on a list of given names from 1450 to 1650)
Is it just me, as soon as Kira said "ozymandias" my brain instantly went to the sadist dsmp animatic, just me? Okay. (Also that poem is one of my favorites)
sadist is great
@@andreaboren6151 ikr!
I thought of Asmodeus the demon and got "House of Asmodeus" stuck in my head.
the poem is from the last wilbur stream, its also my favorite poem:)
No
The Frankenstein character made Dolls of New Albion music start playing in my head.
THE INTRO WAS UNIRONICALLY GREATT😭😭😭
I love all their designs! I suggest the name Anahita as a name for the Siren, Eldritch horror flapper, as it is the name of a kind goddess of water and that irony is just chef's kiss to me. Now I just really want to see the witch that cursed them all! I love your videos! Have a wonderful week!
I would be so down with a more gore-y drawing. I really love your original backstory for the Frankenstein girly. all your pieces are amazing I hope there will be more spooky pieces for October 💕
Loving the Kira clone lore 😂
I can so imagine the second monster doing a lot of hand gestures and the corpse-backpack copying it, also why is the vampire so hot-
Evil Kira is a vibe-I want her backstory
I would be happy to see the redesigns you're thinking. That sounds really cool and interesting.
Ahh yes more Halloween content related!
I loved the little intro also the characters are beautiful
their backstories sound perfect for a dnd campaign where the witch is BBEG and I love it
I would love to see how The Witch™️ looks as well 👀
You should turn SOMETHING, WHATEVER into CLOWNS
Ps, highly recommend goatpierrot as inspiration!
Maybe seasons or planets??
Name ideas
Vampire: Ramona
Frankenstein: Victorique
Werewolf: Adella
Sea Monster: Lucretia
17:12 That sword design is badass!
The vampire dress looks AMAZING id absolutely love to see you make it!
Future Kira is going to cry over making the cathedral dress
Oh yeah that's gonna break me
@@PricklyAlpaca good luck 👍🏼
I think the beauty and the beast lore can be easily added to the werewolf. I think the Frankenstein duo could be a bit of dr jerky and Mr. Hyde motif and I think the witch could be Baba Yaga as I can't think of any other witches off the top of my head that old or evil.
Also I love the vampire and the werewolf! They look so cool!
Always love and feel inspired by your designs!!!
Ebony would be a cute name for the vampire
Oh my goodness these are SO GOOD!!!! I love the dr. Frankenstein inspired character, that concept is AMAZING!!
Thank you!! ♥️
Those are SO unique!!! I love them!!!!!!
I did initially feel sad about the change on the siren character, but after some of the refining I think it turned out unarguably great!
THIS IS SO COOL
All these characters look amazing!! the bride was my absolute favorite
the vamp dress is absolutely gorgeous but would probably be incredibly difficult to make- so any attempts on making it would definitely be appreciated that thing is stunning
I LOVE the Frankenstein/Frankenstein's monster design!!! omg, this video is PEAK spooky vibes.
i would love to see the stain glass dress but how are you going to make it without losing your sanity?
I'll have to sell my soul to that witch probably
For that dress, bot to bad of a price 😁
The art for this video was amazing as always! It might be interesting if you added Monster Hunting Heroes who are hired by the witch to take out the monsters. Like a Van Helsing, werewolf hunter, etc.
i really love the “red riding hood IS the big bad wolf” thing the werewolf girl has going on
the werewolf armour having wolves was a great design choice 🙂
the intro was awesome haha
Werewolves are by far my favorite spookies of all & I'm so excited to see what you do with it
Omg ozymandias is my favorite episode of tv of all time. I loved when Walter fought his son/the best character in the show
When she mentioned The Owl House, I just got so happy lol :)
(For anyone who is wondering, the owl house season 3 episode 1 airs on Disney channel at 9:00pm EST)
Yo, this is super cool 👌
The first two have huge Laudna from critical role vibes and I love it this whole thing is so amazing!!
I would LOVE to a see a reVAMP(haha) of these characters - not because I dislike them, but because I love your art and always want to see more!!
I like the first one she looks like a Spider Queen
My favorite is your vampire, she looks pretty. Well done and I can wait to see more spooky stuff or dress design. 😊💕
I love the name Florence for the vampire girl, it doesn't have that many connections however, it feels fitting and was a somewhat popular name in that era.
BRO YOUR OUTRO ABOUT THE SQUARESPACE AD WWWWWW had to rewatch that bc it was so unexpected
On a serious note, SOOO PRETTYYYYYYY
that Cathedral dress is amazing
Goosebumps music starts playing
Nice touch of the Doors
God, your designs are such a joy to see. I love all of them so much!
i’ve momentes this MULTIPLE TIMES but i’m still impressed by every inro- highlight of my day is watching ur vids
Different types of tea as people? Maybe some cozy witch art?
I want to see you cosplay the stained glass dress, like, right away. Oh, and I also love the siren is draped with pearls taken from destroyed pirate ships. Pearls do come from the sea you know. Maybe that is why she is more drawn to them and less to the gold and jewels. Love the wolf details on the sword esp. and LOVE a crazy character like your franky.
Also, I really liked the very earliest sketches of the sea monster.
For another turning things into pretty girls video you could use the four horsemen of the apocalypse as inspiration/theme
HELLOOOOOOOO your silhouette work when starting out your designs is INSANELY good!!!!! They’re all very different and they’re beautiful :)
