Scoring BIG swell in Punta Roca! El Salvador (5 July)

- #1God 🙏🏻. I always give Thanks to God for these days, for the free nature waves that we can surf, no matter where we are in the world. If you love this sport, you're going to enjoy it. SUBSCRIBE IF YOU ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO!
Appreciate it if you do the like and comment.
There was a huge storm, raining every day, the water was brown, with trees and dirty, but after that, we got this huge beautiful swell. Definitely one of the best days of the year. However, there are still more epic swells coming.
July, is one of the most rainy months in El Salvador. Even though there are powerful swells, sometimes the storms destroy the long-period waves. And this is sometimes frustrating since you have been waiting for this for weeks, but nevertheless, we have something that we can benefit from. All the locals and pro surfers enjoyed this excellent day to target healthy powerful long-period waves, especially me, who had been waiting for this for months.

God bless you, no one ever mentions God in surf culture anymore, besides Beth Hamilton I think.
@@OD99C thanks man amen 🙏🏻. Beth was for me a true example to follow, her solid relationship with God, besides all what happened, still a strong mother. She believes in Jesus
@@pineapplesurf Amen!!!
Buena ola ❤
Que belleza! Dios te bendiga hoy mañana y siempre 😊
@@melissajourneys amen 😌🙏🏻 igual a ti 🙌🏻.

@@michaelj8793 yeah always keeping the videos on time man, blessings man🤙🏽 have a good Sunday
God, I wish I was out in that lineup. Those are some long rides in some solid surf.
It was! 💪🏻You and me both!
Shame to see it so crowded these days. Instagram, internet and the WSL have sure had a big effect. Have fond memories of living and surfing there at Pinta Roca staying in Don carlos' place with just a couple of visiting Yanks and locals after the civil war in '91. Hope all the young guys who were just kids back then are well - Rigoberto, Hari, Carlos, Ricardo with his resto on the point, Christian and our favourite little Walter with his peace sign necklace. Best of times recalled in waves like these with nearly no one around.
Those moments i can truly say are golden ages, because a unique experience in the wild Punta roca, the village of puerto la libertad with tons of trees around, no pollution, and empty waves as you said. I believe the people that you mentioned are well. Who is Ricardo, maybe i recognize him with the surname. However, today is still a good vibe and safe place, unlike in 2002-2015 that wasn’t safe. Is true that the wsl play a significant roll in the mew tourism in this country. Be well my friend. I respect you.
Wow! Brother- well done. Love the Vibes and Stoke for Sure 👍 Waves look flawless, I’m heading over there soon I hope.
@@Live2Surf thanks man appreciate🙏🏻. Astounding days, after a huge storm, the water was so black and no surf, no sun, but still hot weather haha. But this day was after all that and enjoyed really well. 😌
Muito bacana, altas ondas, lugar bonito demais, imagens perfeitas e a galera surfa muito bem! Abraços do Farol de São Tome/Rio de Janeiro/Brasil. Mahalo.
@@marcelosrocha obrigado! Abraços amigo!! Te veo aqui!
Pumping!
Nice drone shots 🔥 this one was a kinda big wave swell in my opinion
@@esmecastellanos yeah report said 12 feet, it was huge, even though is the dron videos seems quite smaller
Thanks 🙏🏻
Locals got it going on! Aloha from westside Oahu Hawaii!
@@MK-su6eg Aloha!
Thx for sharing ! Cya in Hossegor 😊
@@PianoFAB95 your welcome! Heyy fromm Hossegor! Nice man 🤙🏽 prends soins de-VOUS

I don’t think there's a better way to show the thrill of surfing than with a drone.
@@bombthechaos3916 i think the same. I like recording non-aerial footage, but the drone video is significant for me and i like it. Thanks for commenting man 🤙🏽 see ya
These waves look like so much fun. But even in a remote location, surfers with leashes can just crowd the impact zone, so it turns into a slalom contest. I'm so glad I invented a better alternative to this.
@@powerlooper9121 true mate, very true. Sometimes is sad to think about that. But I wonder what alternative did you innovate.
clean style
@@wolf-yw9wk nicee huh, those pros have a clean style as you said
Nice olas 🌊
@@nelsonhernandez9226 thanks amigo🙌🏻
Why don’t these drone flyers get closer to the water. High angles are ok, but you can’t see the true, steepness etc. size of the waves.
@@zaraedwards3355 hey man, sorry about that. Some friend of me local guy was recording for me. He lost many drons because trying to get footage really close,😳. At the end of the video is a wave that i recorded with my phone, the size in non aerial footage
Was that an actual Jimmy Hogan sighting around 4:15?
@@JayTeeRrr yea! Is the great Hogan. 🤙🏽. “Gotta live it to know it” -J-H
Anyone get sick from all that dirty sewage water?
😂
@@evresort yeah man, it can happen, not that day of the video, but previous days it was really dirty
1st rains of the season wash everything thats been dumped in the river for the dry season around the point, be careful with your ears and cuts from the rocks.
@@amys-w1785 yeah, for example when i was surfing in France, there was lot of rain after the summer, so, the lifeguards advised us to get out of the water because it was terrible dirty, like you said with the rivers. I have a video about that. An absorbing moment
Sad but true
🤮🤙🏾
