If you have saved the edits, start editing the layer again. Select the polygon on the map and use delete key or select polygon in the attribute table and click the "x" to delete. If you haven't saved your edits, using the black arrow tool, draw a rectangle around the vertices of the polygon (double click the feature until you can see the vertices) and right click > delete, or use delete key.
@@shannonbelmontGIS see i've already symbolized my polygons but the thing is that i am having a polygon which has no data but it is in the middle of the shp. Now i thought to digitize the polygon and haveit represent a different colour. So is this possible??
