Quant:
Take RBE course. Watch the lectures for conceptual clarity and attempt chapter wise tests once u finish a topic.
If u have already completed the syllabus, then just attempt previous year papers and mocks. U can solve most of the questions by verification method. Try to learn that approach, it will save a lot of time.
Reasoning:
Watch lectures. It's the most easiest scoring subject. It completely depends on how much u practice mocks and manage time. Pinnacle test series is best for practising sectional mocks(Quant and Reasoning)
GS :
Buy Lucent GS (yellow book)
Order BLACK BOOK for GS
Study a topic from LUCENT and then open black book and see how questions are being asked from that particular topic..In this way try to complete all the topics.
As for the current affairs.. it's vast and unpredictable..better to focus on static part. But before going to exam RBE channel provides a compilation of important current affairs based on latest trend in SSC exams. Go through it.
English :
Basically I had strong foundation, so all I did was attempting mocks, analysing them and making notes on mistakes..this may not work for everyone so try to come up with your own strategy.
Order Black book - for Idioms, synonyms, antonyms, one word substitution
Once u complete the syllabus and make self notes..all u have to do is attempting mocks on daily basis.
Testbook + Pinnacle+ Byjus exam prep ..I used those 3 platforms.. don't stick to one platform... Attempt previous papers as much as possible..you should be able to solve each and every model that has been asked in the previous papers. That's it..U will make it through. All the best 👍

For all those who think I'm lying about clearing this exam in 5 months:
I got 97/100 in English in Intermediate, which is state 1st. So, basically I had strong foundation in English. I prepared for UPSC CSE ( 00:50 you can see my books )..so I had edge in GS. Reasoning hardly takes a month to prepare. Major drawback was quant..it needs a lot of time. That's why my tier1 score was 30/50. But I worked hard to improve it. You can see my progress in mocks. I'm repeating the same thing again.. I'm from South and never heard of SSC CGL exam before. It's my senior who sent me this notification and guided me to prepare for the exam. Even if you don't agree with me it's the truth..I cleared it in 5 months.

Actually it's not normalisation..mine is the easiest shift (2nd March)..when they released key there were wrong options from English section..so, I raised objection and the final score changed from 316 to 332+

@@AbhishekKumar-qf6lp I couldn't complete the syllabus for prelims bro. I had only 2 months to prepare for CGL. So my score was pretty low. But after prelims..I completed the lectures from RBE..practiced a lot of mocks from pinnacle (Sectional) and Testbook. This helped me in improving my score.

As someone who has been at it for CGL since my 9th standard and chose B.Sc degree when all my peers went for engineering just to get the degree certificate for CGL, I heartily applaud you. I'm still in the final semester of my graduation and I just attained 19 years. So, I'll be giving my first CGL this year and my CHSL tier 2 next month.

@@abhishekbharti2812 I depend on only one book for maths i.e., Kiran Prakashan SSC Maths. I never revised any books or videos for reasoning and english as English has been my strong hold for as long as I can remember and reasoning is comparatively easy and achievable section with practice and mocks. Mocks is the key here.
@@JohnFrost-gt1cs Depends on your choice of the career. I never really explored the potentials of any course. I took B.Sc just to get a degree. I prepare for SSC mostly and prepare for my graduation subjects during exams alone.
