- Last week was fun, but modern SuprToe is back with the (same) R211 A train review part 2! Had to record the trip back from Lefferts, ya know.
Anyway, I'll be on vacation next week but I HOPE to upload something next Friday.

When it comes to trains, Kawasaki is the one that have also built Shinkansens (all except the N700s and 800 series), the LIRR C3s and M9s, the PATH PA5s, and the DC Metro's 7000 series! I know people may not like security cameras but when something bad happens on the trains, the evidence is there thanks to those cameras! Yup, the pattern of the seats is NY state flag-colored at a consistent yellow-blue pattern so the seats that are flip seats don't look out of place.
Don't forget about the M9AS for metro North railroad ether. The rest of the M9S for Long Island railroad is coming out in September.

I hope the R211T’s change peoples minds and encourage more open gangways. And with the PSd project at Times Square I think it’s going to be a success.
There was one time I was very glad to have an emergency call button on a train. I was in Philadelphia and for some reason the doors didn't open at the terminal station. The train was scheduled to go out of service and into a yard, and the emergency button let us contact the driver so we could get out.
Can you take all trains that go to Queens, without leaving Queens (you may have to take the Q10 Bus to get to the (A) train)

The R211 is very cool looking in my opinion with those diagonal headlight strips and the LED route bullet display on the front of the train.
Maybe can you do all night trains or all weekend trains?

The Pelham 6 line will definitely be next to get CBTCS. I have noticed that they be doing signal maintenances on the Pelham 6 line every now and then. The Pelham 6 line is starting to be like the 7 Flushing line. Keep your eyes on the Pelham 6 line.
Hey Suprtoe I have a WTN suggestion. Take the 42nd Shuttle to the (Q) then take it to Prospect Park and then take the shuttle to Franklin Ave where you take the C to the A at Nostrand and then you take the A to Broad Channel and terminate to Beach 116th Street.

If you could, please start there at that plaza area, see how close those two stations really are [practically just footsteps away, yet no free transfer, weird wondering why] and walk down into the 1 mezz. area but dont enter there, take
(R) to cortlandt st, transfer by passage
(A) to west 4 transfer
(M) to 14th st transfer
(L) to union square transfer
(N) to 34 st herald square transfer
(D) to 47 st rock. cent. transfer
(F) to lex ave. 63rd st transfer
(Q) to 86 st station, exit at the northern ADA accessible entrance and ride
M86 SBS to 5th ave, and i ll let you choose own adventure from here, the met or the guggen
these should be 2 somewhere new options, unless you ve already been!
{also this will work as (R)(A)(D)(F)(Q), or rad fq}

The R211’s will replace the R46’s and I’ll make sure it will.
R262s will go to the Lexington Ave line first then the 7th ave line last the r262s will be replacing all of the r62s and r62As but there no rush to retire them they will retire when the cbtc is ready so here is my prediction on how many sets r262 will have starting of with btw whenever cbtc is ready to retire the r62As which will be in the late 2020s/or early 2030s the cbtc will be ready the contacts awarded for the r262s will probably arrive 2026
The 7th ave line 1 and 3 will be getting r142as along with r142s
Next up the white plains road line the 2 and the dyre ave line the 5 will keep their r142s and will both receive r262s
The Jerome Ave line the 4 will receive a mix of r142s and r262s
same with the Irt pelham line the 6
will receive a mix of r142as and r262s the r142as from the Jerome yard will be sent to the Westchester yard to go on the 6 train (50/50 r262s and r142as)
the 7 flushing line doesn't need r262s it will keep r188s since the cbtc is compatible with them
Finally the 42nd st shuttle will receive r262s only
I have a real spriital feeling that are gonna make the R262AS. I'm telling you that now. Another thing to The R262s is not gonna be all close gangways. The R262AS is gonna have endways just like the R211As. I'm just letting you know.
Another thing is definitely picking up is the Thrid Avenue Elevated line picking back up on you tube every single day like ever before.

The Thrid Avenue Elevated line is definitely coming back I'm telling you. Look at south Bronx Clearmount Avenue Webster Ave Bronx right now bro it's starting to get developing again and it's not run down anymore. Let me tell you the real reason they torn down the Thrid Avenue Elevated line down. Because of the old Governor LaGuardia and the old president Robert mosses could not stand for no extra elevated lines to be running. That's has nothing to do with lower riderships and all that other foolishness. That's another reason why the old houses had to be burning down because of the old 8 Third Ave Elevated line being tairing down. Millions and millions of people are definitely still disappointed talking down the Thrid Avenue Elevated line. I greentree you right now they are definitely protesting about the Thrid Avenue Elevated line nonstop. The new mayor Eric Adams said that south Bronx definitely needs Transportation besides those buses they have running right now running like crazy I'm telling you. Eric Adams said that they should never torn down this Thrid Avenue Elevated line wich that helped out the 2 5 4 6 lines and getting people from point A to point B. Give them a real reason to leave there cars home.
