  • I take every opportunity available to save money. Today I'm closing out my April Budget by comparing my April Budget to my actual spending. This is always a challenge. Thankfully I was under budget in all of my cash envelopes and therefore have even more money to add to savings.

Hey T! Girl, I’m a low income earner too, and you’ve inspired me to take a look at my monthly bills and subscriptions. I’ve canceled a few subscriptions and I have $92 back into my budget! 🙌 I’m now prioritizing savings and paying off my credit card debt. Thanks for showing up and keeping it real. ❤

I'm always thoroughly confused on my close outs as well. I need to figure out a better system. Great video. Congrats on UA-cam pay goal🎉💙

Good video. I never add my rollover to my current income/budget. If a bill did not come out, I acknowledge it, but I keep moving. I do not add it to the current month's income and budget for it a second time. I usually only budget the current month's income with no rollover money. You're doing a good job!

Ah I see. For me if I did that I'd think I have more money than I do when it's actually allocated to something that's still pending which would mess up my whole budget. If I had better memory that might work lol. I used to do that in my old videos before I started doing closeouts. Maybe I'll experiment with it again

I don't necessarily try to match. I want to track unnecessary spending to find ways to cut costs.
