Geneva Conventions and its Protocols

International Humanitarian Law is the branch of Law which is applicable during the armed conflicts. IHL was basically designed in such a way so that it can bring down the catastrophe of warfare and can eradicate the human sufferings and protect the human lives.
Geneva Conventions are very important and it is basically the crux of IHL. Geneva Conventions provides protection to all the directly and indirectly involved persons in armed conflict.
