I feel like giving it a draw cuz this one final explosion was hype AF but in the other they blocked Saber's NP so we couldn't see another purple nuke.
Alter Saber vs Rider is harder to animate . Alter Saber is full of explosion while Alter Saber vs Rider is focus on melee combat and the animation is not just smooth but liquid also when Rider about to use her Noble Phantasm is nearly impossible to animate but one genius animator did it .
I think this is the worse (not just worse, I don't like it at all), because I can't imagine a hero like Hercules being totally destroyed by king Arthur as he was in this "fight".

His berserker form wasn’t able to use Nine Lives (his attack dealing NP), so he didn’t have a finisher for the fight. Not to mention, Artoria’s master was basically a holy grail, so she had an almost unlimited amount of Mana to draw upon. This is how she was able to spam Mana Burst constantly during the fight (all of the laser and explosions she released from her sword, excluding Excalibur Morgan at the end).
One thing that I noticed that a lot of people miss because of the fight, is Heracles' love for kids, in this case Illya, he realizes the danger that Saber Alter is and acts right away to protect her, and when he's lost already and hears her cry, calling for him, he in sheer force of will overcomes the black bonds and fights like never before.
I love that this commonality is present between Heaven’s Feel and UBW. Berserker exceeds his twelve labours mythos upon hearing Illya cry after being struck by Gilgamesh… that always touched my heart. Despite his madness enhancement and berserker summoning, that thread runs so deep into the core of his consciousness that he can’t help but protect.
It's not way ahead of its time Michael Bay's entire shtick in his movies is to also do senseless explosions to woo normies. Ufotable took 1/3 of a VN, stripped its nuance and replaced it with shiny CGI explosions.
Its just the best fighting animations so far, the only difference is that the Fate hasnt reached the point of being a main stream, like Demon Slayer. I feel lucky for not fallen for those guys who underestimate Fate bc of pure envy and favoritism of low cap animes, the level of animation that my eyes saw in Fate probably wont see in any other fighting anime for the rest of my life

To be honest i completely dislike saber. This whole fight is just a proof that she is just favoured by the author. She keeps getting her ass beaten and then just use her Noble phantasm and win every fight. Same is Gilgamesh. Op chars are cool, sure but his fights are boring af. Servants like Cu Chulainn, Heracles, Emiya Archer, Medusa, Sasaki Koujirou are great and their fights are hype cause they bring so much to the battlefield and show such a great skill. I mean look at this fight... Heracles skillfully mops the floor with saber and she just spams ult. It wasn't a fight really, she wasn't even able to parry anything properly and failed to dodge like 90% of hits only to spam aoe oneshotting ultimate. I love the show but the plot armor of Arturia and Gilgamesh is just crazy.
Finally, I've waited this part for a looong time. The scene everyone put their hands on head when saber alter used excalibur was full of oppression😱. The aria also made it top tier in animation fighting.
Berserker's agility and pure strength were still better than Saber's. If he only had more explosive power... Sadly he had no special attacks, otherwise he would at least have a chance. Well, that wasn't the only reason as to why he lost. Don't forget that Alter had unlimited mana supply which is basically cheat code for the rest of the fight, not only that, she also had help from the mud which was constantly interrupting Berserker and making weaker so he couldn't fight at 100% power. Berserker was simply in BIG disadvantage that there was simply no way for him to win.

I call bullshit, he could throw her from the graveyard no problem like he was pushing her around the map in this fight here. Power scaling of Shirou and Arturia is pretty much random. I mean in UBW Arturia lost with Shirou's teacher but was able to fend off Cu Chulainn when first one is a normal close range oriented human mage and second one is heroic spirit and canonically one of the fastest lancers out there and is buffed by renown like all the past times heroes.

And Herc's primary motive was just to leave the castle to distract them The black ribbons were constantly ripping at his Godhand THEREBY making him vulnerable to Saber's attacks. The anime ignored this aspect. The black ribbons were the reason she could damage him and take lives. She didn't spam mana bursts BS like the anime since it clearly wouldn't have kept taking lives on a proper Herc. Even when she uses Excalibur, Herc had to tear his legs off because of the ribbons and was at a severe disadvantage but still managed to destroy her helmet. Clearly you weren't paying attention of you didn't remember this, typical brain dead FATE watcher.

You're excited because of the visuals and animation. And the reason why she is the coolest knight is because the design is very good. The female knight characters from other stories are not as prominent in terms of design and role.
I just remembered, after playing Tsukihime a while back, I realized something. In Tsukihime, the Church hides these stuff by using their influence towards the police, media etc etc. They use spells to erase memories of people. They control information. It's a very very big organisation. I'll just assume that's what happened in these holy grail wars so I'll thank ufotable for the awesome beautiful fight scenes.
Excalibur with every seal relased is one of the strongest things in Nasuverse, since it can beat the White Titan wich can on its own body all the Divine Spirits and their pantheons
saber alter is probably the most powerfull being in all fate series (anime and game) and this version of berserker heracles holding up solo against her for that long is absurdly amazing
That last attack from saber was a damn nuke. I haven't watched all the fate series yet but i can say that of all the servants i've seen she ranks third behind Gilgamesh and Karna.
Full power saber > karna she is gilgamesh level and can effortlessly stop both their strongest attacks with Avalon. Excalibur unsealed > all phantasms even EA according to feats it was the only weapon that could stop sefar while EA couldn't since it ignores all types of immortality.

Karna can only fight the stage 3 Sefar on Mooncell while Excalibur oneshot stage 7, each stage is a 10 times increase btw. Also whatever you heard about Gil and Karna being beyond planet level is BS. Nasuverse Gaia has its BS Texture defense that make destroying the planet even harder than destroying the universe itself. For example, Arjuna Alter who absorbed Indian pantheon (multiple tier above Karna) has reset the universe countless time yet he can't affect anything outside India texture. He wasn't even the top 5. And still need to be nerfed and insane for Super Karna (super buffed by 2 out 3 trimuti) to be a match. Gil and Karna are child's play compare to the current Lostbelt threats while Artoria just got a massive buff via Artoria Avalon (embodiment of concept holy sword aka Excalibur)

That was only possible because alaya herself powered the sword to such an extent that she couldn't recharge it again and was used by an unknown individual. Artoria cannot produce an attack on that level under any circumstances. Karna casually produces nukes on the level of Excalibur and even has an NP that can annihilate an entire country in one shot, not to mention what VS could do. Artoria cannot handle that. Gilgamesh has Ea which is repeatedly shown to surpass Artoria's Excalibur.

She's the embodiment and concept of Excalibur itself which is considered by Arcueid to be kind of her cousin. Artoria Avalon after forging Excalibur is almost on par with LB King Morgan, and when she used her true form to assist us she likely surpassed Morgan already.

Well you see the studio really put effort into showing flashy moves without paying attention to the source material. By definition yes this mana burst by saber alter shouldn't affect him like this but the animators decided to defy logic and humiliate berserker
@@skychieftain beserker was easy stomped in the visual novel too. They actually made him look like he was doing something but the source he got clapped up quick without even damaging saber even in anime he doesn't damage her she was tanking all his physical attacks.

@@trapking2009 except that he wasnt fighting her alone. Assassin and the black ribbons were constantly hampering Herc when saber was engaging with him. And Herc's primary motive was just to leave the castle to distract them
The black ribbons were constantly ripping at his Godhand THEREBY making him vulnerable to Saber's attacks. The anime ignored this aspect. The black ribbons were the reason she could damage him and take lives. She didn't spam mana bursts BS like the anime since it clearly wouldn't have kept taking lives on a proper Herc. Even when she uses Excalibur, Herc had to tear his legs off because of the ribbons and was at a severe disadvantage but still managed to destroy her helmet.

Excalibur mana burst can take his life she didn't do it in the fight but she used it as her normal self and took a life in bladeworks. With or without the shadow as long as she has enough mana she is never losing to beserker she is stronger by far if she is at full potential. You say the shadow made him vulnerable but it only made it easier for saber I don't see her losing to Hercules with enough mana reserves no matter how I look at it whether it's her original form or this weaker alter form. The only reason saber loses 1v1 against beserker in normal state is because of nerfs like shirou or no Avalon Hercules is no match for her without those nerfs

I just remembered, after playing Tsukihime a while back, I realized something.
In Tsukihime, the Church hides these stuff by using their influence towards the police, media etc etc. They use spells to erase memories of people. They control information. It's a very very big organisation.
I'll just assume that's what happened in these holy grail wars so I'll thank ufotable for the awesome beautiful fight scenes.
I love fate just for Saber, she is too strong and with that characteristic aura, I love Artoria Pendragon.

To think this Artoria is nerfed in many ways is terrifying, with enough mana and avalon she´s way too powerful
Excalibur with every seal relased is one of the strongest things in Nasuverse, since it can beat the White Titan wich can on its own body all the Divine Spirits and their pantheons
To think heracles is nerfed in MOST ways here lol. Dude is a god( literally) without the grail nerfing 90% of his ability.

That last attack from saber was a damn nuke. I haven't watched all the fate series yet but i can say that of all the servants i've seen she ranks third behind Gilgamesh and Karna.
Full power saber > karna she is gilgamesh level and can effortlessly stop both their strongest attacks with Avalon. Excalibur unsealed > all phantasms even EA according to feats it was the only weapon that could stop sefar while EA couldn't since it ignores all types of immortality.

@@raheembrowm534 Then truly you have much to read then. Excalibur is canonically confirmed via Extella and LB6 to be THE holy sword that defeated Sefar, the entity that even Amaterasu has ptsd about. Karna can only fight the stage 3 Sefar on Mooncell while Excalibur oneshot stage 7, each stage is a 10 times increase btw.
Also whatever you heard about Gil and Karna being beyond planet level is BS. Nasuverse Gaia has its BS Texture defense that make destroying the planet even harder than destroying the universe itself.
For example, Arjuna Alter who absorbed Indian pantheon (multiple tier above Karna) has reset the universe countless time yet he can't affect anything outside India texture. He wasn't even the top 5. And still need to be nerfed and insane for Super Karna (super buffed by 2 out 3 trimuti) to be a match.
Gil and Karna are child's play compare to the current Lostbelt threats while Artoria just got a massive buff via Artoria Avalon (embodiment of concept holy sword aka Excalibur)

Sure Excalibur defeated the white Titan but saber cannot access that power as it isn't meant for her. That was only possible because alaya herself powered the sword to such an extent that she couldn't recharge it again and was used by an unknown individual. Artoria cannot produce an attack on that level under any circumstances.
Karna casually produces nukes on the level of Excalibur and even has an NP that can annihilate an entire country in one shot, not to mention what VS could do. Artoria cannot handle that.
Gilgamesh has Ea which is repeatedly shown to surpass Artoria's Excalibur.
@@skychieftain Artoria Saber is technically still below Karna, sure. But Artoria Avalon on the other hand is a different matter. She's the embodiment and concept of Excalibur itself which is considered by Arcueid to be kind of her cousin.
Artoria Avalon after forging Excalibur is almost on par with LB King Morgan, and when she used her true form to assist us she likely surpassed Morgan already.
Imagine of Heracles and Medusa worked together during this.. It would vaporize the surrounding area.
