I prefer the original version. I play a nickel version of this that's connected to the Ft. Knox progressives. I once caught the rare golden lobster for a $1100+ win in the "pick a buoy" bonus.
+JM Engelhard I used to play the original long ago "back in the day", but I wasn't that impressed with it then, either. I think my favorite back then was Shake Your Booty
I really like this game. I have gotten the different progressive many times. Even got the big one once. I always pick the buoy bonus never the free spins. That bonus pays better is a lot of fun to watch to see what size lobster you get.
I can't really remember how this works, but I think in this game you have a choice of what to bet, and with the higher bets there are multipliers( x5) and progressives that you aren't getting in your game because you are playing 50 cents. That's why you see the grey streaks across some of your icons...because you aren't eligible for the progressive. It's been too long since I've played it to remember. Obviously I don't play it anymore.
I do remember that I was not eligible for the progressive and maybe other stuff. But, I wasn't interested enough in this game to find out how it would play
+Random $$ Slots Now Random, I remember a very smart man telling me one should ALWAYS read the pay table to see how a game works before playing it. Professor Sasaki would be disappointed. : D
+Random $$ Slots I apologize for doubting you. (And I won't make any unkind remarks about forgetting and senior moments and short term memory loss. And please don't make any about my early onset Alzheimers either :D )
Graphics are bad but the possibility of a BIG WIN at max play is great especially with all those wilds that can appear. I would probably put about $ 60 into the game if it ever made it to the Montreal Casino but we still have the old nickel version. Thanks for sharing
That's what gambling is all about; What IF I put in another $20. What IF I increase my bet. What IF I leave the machine now will another person wins a hand pay what I should have won. Gambling is all about IFS ANDS OR BUTS
This is a fairly old video. These days my bet range is between $1 and $2. Progressive availability changes from game to game (I'm not sure about this on, I'd have to study the rules). Some games require a Max Bet. Some make it possible at any bet level, but obviously make it much harder to get at lower bet levels. Take a look at www.RandomSlots.com to learn more about slots.
Sometimes I wonder if slot designers actually gamble. I'm all for new games that are more "old school" but free-spin bonus games of 5 spins, that are hard to get, and then don't guarantee a good payout just aren't fun. I think I may have played this one for a few spins and same for the original, but didn't see where you would get the "Big Win" during the bonus...
+TheBigPayback I am guessing that slot designers do gamble, but that it is also easy to get into tunnel vision when you spend most of your day in your cubicle staring at slot screens and spreadsheets
***** Yeah, although at the same time I wonder if they make use of focus groups at all? Seems like many manufacturers are just throwing a bunch of content out there or at least trying to and seeing what sticks...
I suspect a mixed approach. Since it is so expensive to design and approve a new game, the temptation to get a little lazy and reuse old stuff with new graphics is high.
Regardless, a $39.85 line win is not too shabby. It might have been a good time to reel it in. You did double, you know. The Buoy Bonus is more fun than free spins..."Big uns I say. er, big wins, I say!" I don't play this much anymore. If I were going to play, I'd play the old game.
I was never much into this game, old or new. When I played this one, I was not doing DBB (eventually this style will be renamed DBG), but was trying to see what the free spin bonus looked like.
+Random $$ Slots Could be a "Good win" - Could be" Give up" - Could be "Goose egg" or something else having to do with your feathered friend, the Goose. Yes, I'm thinking now the Goose definitely has something to do with the phrase! Tell me, tell me, please.

+Claudia Day Glad that you like it. Not my cup of tea, but maybe it it was just my bad luck
Yes, Claudia...love this machine in Game Rooms...when you play $1.20 it pays off with progressive amounts.

+sauropod Lots of "IFs" in your assertion there, but good luck - let us know what happens!

Random, you had some good hits for only .50 I would have bumped it up after that...doesn't it take .60 or more to hit progressive? I think so!

***** True, especially with what seem to be a lot of new slot manufacturers pushing their titles...

+Random $$ Slots Don't answer it. It's probably just someone wanting to sell you something - or save your soul.
Nice line hit, crappy bonus.. You DID get to hear the B52's during the bonus though!
