I have a travlfi internet/wifi (one unit). We use this at our ranch to run our WiFi solar cameras. So this would plug into the router with cat5/6 and then I would just put this ontop of the barn? Or can it catch the current WiFi signal and send that out amplified?

This one you would plug in but they do have the repeater style if you would rather that.
