The Romans, especially Ovid, really didn't like Athena. Here: There's a myth where Minerva(Athena) punishes a crow by turning it black and making it a night bird only for something. In the Roman version, it's because it imformed her that the princesses of Athens open the box she told them not to open, which is like-wtf Minerva(Athena)?! However, in the original Greek version, she punished it because the CROW told the sisters what was inside the box, prompting them to open it, which a much more justifiable version.
I'm a fan of these goddesses when I was young (8 yrs old) We had like a model thingy in school and the theme was gods and goddesses and mine was Athena! 🤗 So nice for me to see this 😊
