I totally get how excited you are when you show us your hauls. It is something we really need to share and, to tell the truth, our family kind of can get tired of it after a while. But, I and mostly everyone else who watches your videos so enjoy your excitement and the thrill of the hunt you have. Kim will be even more happy now too. It is the rush of adrenalin when we see the next great item and the thrill when it sells for great money. I have been doing this for 24 years and it never gets old, don't worry, you will not tire of this adventure, you may decide on a different path someday but this way of life will always be in your blood. By the, I am always happy to see every item you bring home.
Oh, Lori! That’s what lambs do! They grow wool! Then they grow more wool!! ❤
Happy Wednesday Beauties 🥳💚😘 Congratulations To Kim For Coming To The Dark Side 🤣 I Can Hear Kim Talk All Day 🥰 Yayyy For Hauls 🙌🏽🙌🏽🎉🎉
Don’t feel too bad about the Mongolian lamb. They shear the animal … it’s just a hair cut the same way the harvest wool to make it into yarn. Also that’s a very sought after fiber in those boho coats. Definitely price high! If you’re an animal lover Persian lamb is the one you should personally avoid but all those pieces would be very vintage at this point.
More resellers means fewer items in the landfill
When I saw Kim sourcing all the breakables I was thinking she is brave, but when you told us she worked at Crate and Barrel, it made more sense. Lol. Good for her! You guys are having lots of fun and y’all found some good stuff! 💜
Don't worry about the lamb. He just gave up some of his wool. It will grow back. 😊
Way to go Kim! I often wondered why you were not reselling. Best to you.
I will watch Kim’s channel!
Thank you but one thing at a time! I’m not organized enough for all that!!
I am so glad that Kim is selling and that you are focusing on different areas! How much fun!! I love when you girls shop together!
That Boden Sweater!! And Congrats to Kim. Cheering her on!! Lumpy loooo…I love youuuuu🐾🖤
Sheep and lambs are sheered, their wool is shorn.
Jack can never have to much Halloween 😊
It is always so GREAT to see Kim
Come on Kim you need a You Tube channel too.
Such a fun video!! Would love to see a Kim you tube channel also
So much fun to see you both together!! Looks like such fun!
I was wondering how long it would take for Kim to resell! Go Kim!
Darn, I wish the Birkenstocks were my size. I love them! I am sure they will sell quickly for you! You found some great items! I love the second Margaret O’Leary sweater, too! 😊
When I thrift for myself, everything is BLACK, Lori!! Hugs from Michigan!!
First time viewer and it was so much fun! Fellow MA lady here. It took me a minute to realize you were local until I heard Kim speak! An entertaining video for sure. Boston has a lot of thrift stores but out in the MetroWest suburbs where I am I found only a few overpriced ones. The nearest Goodwill is way out in Worcester. So I enjoy watching everyone else finding their treasures!
Hi Lauren! Thanks so much for your message! I love my fellow MA friends!
Torrid size 2 is a 2x.Great finds.Ty so much!
lol love it when you smell the candle then give it to us to smell 😂😂. Great video as always!
I love that COS top. I love black n white and navy and white stripes!! ❤
I love the shoes!!! The two ballet flats ❤❤❤
Hi from Malaysia. Nice to learn Kim is reselling. She has such a good eye . Good luck Kim 👏🏻
Lori great to see you both out and about. The lunch looked sooo good. Love the Karen Neuberger line and only buy her product because it washes and wears so well. As always you find the best. Wishing Kim success with Ebay, I just started with them and have not had problems Poshmark was a horror and had problems. So Ebay it is and we will see how ir qoeka our.
Such good stuff!
Lori your nails look so pretty!!! 🤩
Hi Lori I’ve only sold g star in men’s but it does really well. Sold jeans for $34 and $65
Yes love your new shirt!
I believe it called "burnished" when the suede/leather is discolored. It is done a lot by the manufacturer. A lot of boots have this manufactured effect.
Sold that exact pair of Allbirds today on Posh for $45.
I love the shirt you are wearing now!! I love plaid, too!! Loved this video! Especially love little Lumpy! Sweet puppy!! ❤ hugs from Michigan!
It's lamb wool. So, the lamb is not harmed
Great haul! I like the color of the scuba you are wearing! Is it the “espresso” color? I just sold a pair of Varley joggers that had been sitting in my closet a year for $25, the pullovers do great for me, the other stuff not so much. I like the joggers you have better though. Congrats to Kim! Another excellent video!
Hi. Following you for a few days with a flu on the coach. 😢 G Star Raw is a very good Dutch brand.
Imperfections on suede boots. Hi Lumpy. Your adorable dog. Sue from Illinois 😊
No sad comment about the shearling but one about the lamb? They’re the same 😂
I can't seem to give away allbirds, but those are darn cute and I would have picked them up too!😅
Everlane isn’t usually worth it for me at thrift store prices unless it’s a substantial piece or a more premium fabric (cashmere etc). The basic stuff sells well but most of it goes in the $20-25 range. It’s an unconditional pickup at the bins for me though. If I don’t want to sell it myself, crossroads/buffalo exchange stores around me take it unconditionally and I can just trade it in for credit and get better pieces to sell instead.
Hi Lori. I'm interested in the pjs you picked up. What size are they? Thanks for all you do. I've learned a lot from your videos.
one of my favorite sweaters when I was skinny was 100 perceny anogora sweater cropped wiich buttoned up the back and a peter pan collar absolutely adorable I wore my high waisted black dressy jeans with it and cute ballet flat ... dang I wish I was skinny again menopause is hard and I have lyme disease so no more working out hard anymore and I can not swim in chllorinated water yuck
Yes G-Star Raw has been around for a while we have a free standing store here in New York City in SoHo I find their mens jeans often at the bins they sell fast for 70 +
@@LorisBostonFound I started going through my solds on Poshmark and found that I had sold a women’s G-Star Raw wool coat found at the bins for 190.00
@@LorisBostonFoundit took a little bit, but I sold a G Star pink leather vest for $100. Also, I love it when you find Cuffys stuff. We used to go there all the time when we visited my parents' friends on the Cape.
I have a G Star Raw mens shirt which has great detailing & in perfect condition but haven’t been able to move it 😮
Gstar is a Dutch brand with international collabs it’s expensive
😂 worried about the lambs wool!
I'm losing it! My brain wasn't processing that it was just the wool b/c the tag said lamb...not lambs wool. Sometimes I can't film and think at the same time! Lol! #savethelambs
How do I look up Kim's items on Ebay?
I am pretty sure they do not kill the lamb to get the fur hair trim ... they just give the animal a hair cut
I love that you always pick up Cape Cod sweatshirts, Planning a girls trip to Cape Cod with my bestie this summer, any things we shouldn’t miss?
Provincetown is amazing if you can get up there. Downtown Chatham is lovely to walk around too!
G Star Raw is a great brand to find, you might have better luck finding comps by looking without the "raw" part of the name.
Lamb fur ( probably sheep) will have been sheared from a live animal this is done to stop the animal overheating
Don’t feel bad about the lamb. They have to be sheared at least once a year for hygenic purposes and their own comfort. Same is true of all wools, alpaca, and goat fibers like cashmere. It is not harmful to the animals.
How do you get the price off the bottom of the birckenstocks
❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤
they don't kill the lamb they shave the lamb who is heavy burdened with hair
Lamb means it is sheered from the sheep, next year that same lamb will “donate” it’s wool again.
reselling is very much addictive like gambling when you win you get that little hit of dopamine. I would recommed she start with her items athome as well tell her family and friends what she is doing and if they have anything to donate give them to her first to see if there is anything that she can resell and then she will donate the items to savers to get that discount coupon. and also only spend the initial money she spent on the item taht sold and bank teh rest otherwise all she will be doing to buying stuff over and over to sell and never banking anything . I also with fees, cost of bubble wrap and taxes I try never buy angthing that will only fro 25 dollars it is way too much work to only get a few dollars profit ... unless she gets it for free or cheap less then a dollar and she really likes it because it might be hers forever. If she does not know sell through rate you shoudl teach her so she does not end up with a ton of inventory waiting for the right buyer. Also tell her comps on ebay are not alwasy reliable since many people launder money on ebay so I have been told
kids do not get to wear clothes for more then one seaons becaus et hey grow so fast ... that raincoat might never even have been worn she light have out grown it before she got to wear . Like she got it as a birthday gift in nivember then when spring came around rainy season she was already to tall to wear it .
Which goodwill is this? This isn’t Harrison ave
She mentions that she went to both Hyde Park and Jamaica Plain :)
Could you please list Kim's eBay address, Lori.
I don’t think you need to be sad because they shear lambs they don’t kill them!
I was really thrown off b/c it just said lamb... not wool. 😂 Sometimes my brain turns to mush when the camera is rolling!
I'm confused. Why would you be sad that the fur is dyed Mongolian lamb? You do realize most wool is from a lamb right? So that means you would be sad about every wool sweater you've ever touched right? I'm really mostly teasing you but just wanted you to realize how silly that statement was. They don't have to kill a lamb to get the fur. Just shave it.
❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm back in Boston for another thrift with me with my good friend Kim! We found some amazing stuff!! I couldn't believe what I found at the front of the store, sealed! I hope you enjoy it!
