Love the chord progression from 0:11 - 0:26, so ominous and relentless Decided to figure it out. It's a series of dominant chords with the seventh in the bass. D4/2 C4/2 Bb4/2 G4/2 F4/2 E4/2 A4/2 F#7 fully diminished in root position with an appoggiatura from D-C in the highest voice. The first D4/2 is missing a fifth, so only C (bass), F# (middle voice), D (top voice) to start with. The rest of the harmonies include all tones of the chord.
Honestly, during chapter 13, I stopped bringing Frederika to the battle just to hear this ost. Don't get me wrong, I love Combat ~Destiny, but this one was way more fitting for the battle. But yes, I allowed Frederika to kill both Thalas and Erika during the main story, I just didn't bring her on NG+.
I know it has nothing to do with the game. But the trumpets remind me of my native country Cuba. Our war for independence was extremely brutal against the Spanish Empire. Like all wars both sides had heroes but this one specific hero was also a poet, Jose Marti. He rushed the Spanish lines to rally the troops but was killed in the process, the Cubans seeing one of their heroes go down were filled with such vigor that they rushed the Spanish lines with machetes, much like the samurai they feared no death and thus won our short lived Independence before we became puppets to the US.
Yeah holy crap…as an American I appreciate you sharing this story so much. I hope you can one day break free and develop that socialist nation you originally wanted to become, before our country stormed in.
Fitting, since it's the theme that plays before you attack a boss to trigger Combat - Destiny. At least in Utility 2nd Battle in the battle for Glenbrook
"So it's come to this." Ben bit his lips. That was too much. Their army would overrun thr Leprechaun Kingdom. Even with Achilles on the kingdom's side. Only one solution remained. "You'll take my soul if I use ya in battle? No way 'round it?", he asked. 'Correct', Nightmare said in his head. 'Although it is a slow process. You would waste away slowly, noticing the changes that come with a devoured soul. It is a cruel way to die, as your body remains, yet you will not be in it any longer.' Ben noticed he was shaking. Giping onto his own arm, he gave his answer: "Small price to pay fer victory. I accept. Take my body and kill 'em." 'With the utmost pleasure.'

so sad, he could join me
@@McTeddyTPI can totally fix him
I seriously felt this one in the battle against Avlora in Whiteholm Castle...
Me too... For like the 30 seconds until I began abusing that giant pool in the center with thunderous bombardment.
I felt this during that one field battle against Exharme in Benedict’s route.
makes you wonder, who's the bad guy now? (it's the Neo-communist)
I felt this during last battle of Frederica route
Nobody mentions svarog with the lava!? This song is awesome there
Akira Senju did such an amazing job on these themes! Bless him
哀愁のトランペットが流れる所で章タイトルが出るの最高なんだよな…
maybe the best soundtrack in TS
Svarog with lava around him, so menacing
The Svarog battle at the end of Roland route made me felt like shit, poor guy...
Sounds so much like the main theme of FMA brotherhood
same composer

Amazing
This song feels as heavy as a burden of a young ruler in a strugglign nation.
