I've been listening to this track on and off for more than 15 years. It's like a time machine for me, leads me through so many memories which were accompanied by periods of me listening to this song.
IMO one of Teebee's best tracks, wonderfully constructed and beautifully sounding. I initially bought this record for the flip but when i heard this track i was blown away. Definitely one of my favourite records of all time.
ethics Torgier definitely took a page from Rupert Parkes' book, can hear Photek influences in this and many other tracks. I agree the drums are to die for, whole tune is to die for!
Ground breaking music at its peak. It was the experimental era for a lot of genres, and nothing compares to that era. If someone tells me to listen to something now, and tells me it's "different, and something refreshing" I just say no, because we've already heard it before. Photek was one of those artists that brought something truly innovative in terms of sound and structure.
I agree with you, this kind of experimentation that still remains coherent is mostly absent from music today. However, it's probably a better idea to first listen to something you get recommended and then decide you've heard it before - who knows, you might just find something new you like. ;)
@@MemoryLaneCinema Not peak, then. Best era ;) I was there from the beginning, but preferred the dark techy stuff that came out around 2000-04. There were pretty defined branches within the genre and loads of artists making their mark. TeeBee being one of them. Calyx on his own, massive props, still got white label of his. Amir haven't heard from for a while, Stakka & Skynet were fucking wicked. So many.

Endo Cannabinoid the drums are something otherworldly, still cant grasp it how one can create something so tremendously good

Torgeir has come a long way since local raves in Knarvik and hundvin :)
Both sides of the vinyl is teebees best work imo, still rinsing it in 2023
Can't believe I've been loving this track for ~16 years now. Time flies
And it never gets old to listen to this gem!!!
Teebee has black belt in D'n'B!
Top 3 teebee tracks.
Definitely one of my personal favourites. The whole mood of this track is just beautiful!
The bass has a bit of a Flytronix feel to it! Really great song!
wow, this one's dark, steppy and murky! massive vibes on this one.
Classic Teebee. Timeless music...
nightmares, fevering, darkness and that powerful juicy basslines:) its all about

@Apexyy good to know where the music comes from :)
Homage to Photek 🤟
Is it just me or does this sound a little bit ( a lot ) like Photek in his From & function album? :) has the same style to it
totally! it's that half-step vibe + the loungey space pad thing, and it's fucking awesome.
Remedynr In fact, one of Teebee's main influences IS Photek!
i'm so glad we've got TeeBee to fall back on - when Photek stopped making this style.
Teebee recorded many of his releases on Photek's labels Photek Recordings and Certificate 18
Certificate 18 wasn't Teebee's label. He released some of his best work on there though. @@fusion01wp
subtitles eh ? might have to look into this label..
beautiful
You don't know me...
Dope
Perfect. Just fucking perfect.
I should make "The _ABSOLUTE_ favourites" - playlist...

Mr F4 lol
This song sounds like pigs in black burglar outfits sneaking into peoples' houses and robbing them.
