She went on to try to raise two boys to the best of her ability. She pushed on. She hurt everyday. It impacted both my brother and I. She taught us both, that life can be better. Mom tried her damndest despite the torture she endured. Mom, everyone cries, sometimes. RIP 1957-2016.

It was six years ago today that I lost my momma to cancer, she was my best friend and I miss her every day. Its gonna be 7years on June 7th and it doesn't go away, the pain but it doesn't knock you down as often. Hang in there and find a grief group you can join and get out of the house. After being lost for 47 days and nights we got her back! She survived in frigid temperatures with snow, and NO Claws. She weighed half the weight from before but no frostbite Thank God! We actually trapped her! Prayers do sometimes work! And I'm just a little bit "Stitious". But not "SUPERstitious". Lol!

I’d be in the kitchen getting dinner ready, and I could hear both my son and his dad talking up a storm, laughing at something, one of them said. Once he got his daddy fix, he say “See you tomorrow, dad, and yell at me that he’d see me tomorrow mom, love yous”. We lost his dad back in Oct 2006, and my son misses him so much. The Creator created you for a reason. Someday you are not gonna be here any more. So why do you make that face? Why being despair? He had hearing issues so he didn't always hear what I said, but it didn't matter if we could hear each other talk. We had a bond, that only death could break. And break that bond death did. Really sorry for your loss :( . My father and I have the same type of relationship and I don't think I'm mentally prepared for the day when he's gone. It's going to hurt in ways I won't be able to imagine. One day something great will happen to me at work and I'll want to call someone to tell them about it. I'll pull out my phone, go to my contacts, and instinctively select "Dad". I'll pause for a moment and break down all over again. That is what I fear the most about losing a parent. It was six years ago today that I lost my momma to cancer, she was my best friend and I miss her every day. Before she passed away she would listen to this and my first Thanksgiving without her I was driving home and it came on the radio I had to pull over because I was crying so hard but towards the end of the song I realized why she played it for me before she passed. Its gonna be 7years on June 7th and it doesn't go away, the pain but it doesn't knock you down as often. Hang in there and find a grief group you can join and get out of the house. After being lost for 47 days and nights we got her back! She survived in frigid temperatures with snow, and NO Claws. She weighed half the weight from before but no frostbite Thank God! I’d be in the kitchen getting dinner ready, and I could hear both my son and his dad talking up a storm, laughing at something, one of them said. Once he got his daddy fix, he say “See you tomorrow, dad, and yell at me that he’d see me tomorrow mom, love yous”. We lost his dad back in Oct 2006, and my son misses him so much. It's going to hurt in ways I won't be able to imagine. One day something great will happen to me at work and I'll want to call someone to tell them about it. I'll pull out my phone, go to my contacts, and instinctively select "Dad". I'll pause for a moment and break down all over again. That is what I fear the most about losing a parent. They don't get to continue watching you grow. Everything that happens to you from that point onwards, they will miss. My heart goes out to anyone hanging in there after losing their mom or dad.

I know the pain of losing one's parents, but when they have given you the best that they can, you realize you've got the tools to help you get through anything. And that's a great legacy.

Hang on there all people. My old boss used to cry whenever this song was on in the radio of the shop we worked. They played his boyfriend’s funeral this song. I really feel for him (my boss) now whenever I hear this song. So much so that I didn’t care his grief then. I was disgusted by him. I guess I was a very young man from different culture. I wish I could meet him and apologise to him.

Yes I am still listening, maybe more today than I have for sometime. Sitting here looking at the world I find it so hard to believe we are here again. Fighting for our rights, love and freedom. But fight we will and win me must for the future of humanity. Its never a fair fight when many are injured and many die for what should just be. When will we get it right all for one all for love all for a positive life for all.
