Watching this after binging season 1 and watching season 2 and dying laughing at Ella’s response considering Jackie’s fate in the show. “I can make a fire”

It is uncanny how much Sophie Thatcher naturally sounds like Juliette Lewis. It blows my mind. It's not a sound effect trick, or coaching. She even exudes that same energy. Someone at casting sure knows what they're doing.
This was one of the first things I said watching this show!
I feel like Thatcher actually sounds like Lewis right down to inflections and tone in her voice. It’s pretty remarkable
i feel like people are quickest to criticize natalie as a character (in terms of how well she's portrayed in both timelines) and watching the show i'm like "that character thread is the strongest to me".
omg maybe it is that, like the first two eps i thought child and adult natalie aren't really lining up but then suddenly it clicked SO WELL

Had no idea Ella was British! That accent caught me off guard. Such a talented cast on this show, bring on season 2!!
Ella had an amazing year! Playing Jinx and Jackie in two of the best shows to come out in 2021

@@davidbjacobs3598 Oop. I mean, I really loved her in Yellowjackets and Arcane (+Fallout)! In fact, I hyperfixated on her because of that 😂 But her character in Army of the Dead just got me shouting "Hey! What are you doing! Stop being stupid" every time she was on screen! But maybe that was intentional lol

The way they doubted Ella lol super reflective of how they treat Jackie in the show 🤣😭

The actress who plays adult Shauna has said that the show production team told her that the show may last until season 5 as they have a full plan for the story to go on that long
Long series tend to loose quality with time, the first season was already incredibly slow, I hope they don't go for another 4
i read this as well. i think 2/3 seasons would be enough.
It's such a great show I hope they don't milk it... And they killed a bunch of key characters idk if they can drag the show for that long
@@jjy4481 for me jackie’s death is so upsetting cause we’re gna lose ella purnell’s amazing presence in the show. she was a definite stand-out from the beginning and it saddens me she probably won’t come back as a regular
@@m4r985 she's my favorite character. I was hoping that she survived somehow even though it was very obvious that she didn't from the first few episodes.. I think Jackie's ghost will always hunt Shauna so Ella will probably appear on the next season

Yeah, not sure if that's a compliment or not but Sophie is the only person who could've played Nat so convincingly! I say this in the most respectful most adoring way! It really does seem like they have a lot in common.
Heathers meets Lost meets Alive meets Lord of the Flies
It's perfect. lmao.
Mostly influenced by Ryan Murphy and AHS... Even the intro is very similar to AHS:1984. Only on the surface is similar to Heathers, Lost, Alive, Lord of the flies... But it's nothing like any of those things.
Not influenced by Heathers at all... Just because it's about teenage girls?
"Alive": nothing like it, just because it's a soccer team? Not all cannibalism is the same, the men of Alive only eat people who were already dead, they never killed anyone.

Why do people now a days constantly damage language? In music every album is a classic; in comedy with a nod to an old Louis C.K. joke people not even laughing say that is HILARIOUS, and describing a gorgeous woman is disturbing 🤪

Best show on right now. Just finished season 1. GIVE US MORE YELLOW JACKETS 🐝. MISTY is my fave character adult. Juliette, Christina, and Melanie are fantastic.

I totally agree, weird interview format. She threw questions and any random guest could just answer. It needed more structure. JMO.
Maybe I missed it but why hasn't anyone caught a fish since they are near a huge lake? Why was deer and bear only animals they were able to consume?
There's a scene that implies Travis cast a net in a lake for a day but nada, the net doesn't catch anything
I'l like to know why the host of the interview thinks the survivors of the Andes crash were "just fine" afterward? Also, they ate their companions that were already dead and frozen....they didn't kill anyone for food.
and they certainly didn't ritualistic hunt them down first.
Did you all not see the very first scene of the first episode? They literally set up a trap to kill someone and then ate her
@@Officialfeel Yes that's what they mean, they are talking about the survivors of the Andes, who only ate their friends when they were already dead, which is a significant difference from Yellowjackets, and the impact on their mental health won't be the same
Too much Samantha Hanratty (who looks pretty much like her character :D), not enough Sophie (Thatcher). Maybe she was too cool for school ? :D All jokes aside, that chick is born to play a 70's or 80's rock star. She oozes charisma. I mean, the other girls are awesome, and I think Ella is equally gorgeous, but Thatcher, dayum, that voice, those eyes.
Yeah agree, totally smitten with Sophie Thatcher now. She has this great Grimes/Billie Eilish/Joan Jett/Debbie Harry/Michelle Pfeiffer thing going, but like better and unique in her own way. I’m excited to see what more she does next, incredibly talented actor.

I loved this video! It was so nice hearing the cast talk about the show! I especially loved hearing about their experiences on set and how close they became to one another. The interviewer was also nice and respectful. I can’t wait to see season 2!

Me & my girl~friends all watch & compare our wildest theories on the upcoming episodes, I've actually solved acouple of the 'cliff~hangers' so far & I'm feelin' alil nervous & queazy 'bout some more of my guesses. Sooo fun!

Why would maggots ruin the ecosystem? If they brought some maggots from a different environment that would just be stupid of them in the first place but typically maggots will not ruin the ecosystem they already exist and they will turn into flies that guy was just full of s*** and wanted his maggots back

She seems to be in High School, but I don't recall if they specified high school or college.
Either way, if Shauna was pregnant her senior year (in 1996), Callie would have to be 25 in 2021.
She doesn't seem to be 25 years old, so... where is the baby she was pregnant with in 1996???
my mom said to me that Callie is the baby she was preggo with, i'm like mom, that girl is in hs or beginning college. she is not 25. we don't know what happened with the first baby. we haven't seen any shots of her giving her birth or anything so we don't even know if she ends up having it.

I'm pretty sure she's supposed to be a high school senior. I'm pretty sure Jackie's parents mention Callie starting to apply for colleges but could be wrong

@@vipnetworker and they never once spoke of the child again? no reference to callie having a sibling. as far as i've read at this point, the writers actually don't even fully have a plan for what is going to take place w/ the baby. in an interview they said they are floating around several ideas but haven't landed on anything yet. so it's all up in the air.

Aside from piling up a couple of genres (a/SURVIVAL MOVIES; b/ PLANE CRASH movies; c/ SPORT films; d/ generic COLLEGE movies; e/ WITCHCRAFT films like 1996 "The Craft"; f/ "nature horrors"= "FRIDAY 3th"; g/ other kind of horrors, say "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER" or "THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT", etc etc etc...), you can take the "good" in this ridiculously messed up series amongst some acting performances. Christina Ricci and Melanie Lynskey alone keep you "waiting" for the next episode, whereas the youngsters still have to train A LOT. What's embarassing is the series being seemingly open to a 2nd Season 😂, given a shallow finale. That said, YELLOWJACKETS hits at this: "If you want to become a politician -better off a woman- start using your high school mates as sacrifices". HRC, maybe?
The real life young misty is almost as annoying as her character has is
