I just love seeing macaws fly, they're such gorgeous birds. Always so wonderful to see Shelby soaring after her ordeal. They are very lucky birds to be in your care❤️
My high school boyfriend and his little brother had an African grey parrot. He would just scream all day long and they never let him out of the cage. If they did it was just for a short period of time inside the living room. I felt so bad for that bird. He eventually died alone in his cage. They honestly did not know what they were doing. They shouldn't have had him in the first place. Yet they were selfish enough to not let somebody else adopt him. It was more up to their mother rather than them. Rip 🦜
We had a budgie when i was 5. He once nearly escaped when we were playing with him round the house. Another time, he nearly got eayen by our dog, chester, so my parents wouldn't let me play with him outside the living room, eventually we gave him to one of my parents' friends who has 10 budgies and a whole inclosure for them. We aren't really in touch with that friend anymore tho so we don't know if he is dead or alive.
Is your dog sick? Does he have problems with his neck? If not, than there is no reason for you to have a Harness (Pulling Harrness) on him instead of a Collar.
Many people find it easier to control their dog with a harness. But it didn't look like she needed to "control" her dog at all, so maybe that's why she doesn't feel the need to put a collar on it. I've been a vet tech for 15 years. Not everyone needs to correct their with choke correction. Some dogs will respond to this, but the best way to have a happy dog is to train it in the first place!
I’ll look into this more, im not very educated in this area. Shadow doesn’t pull at all though and stays by my side regardless of which leash I use so not sure if that has an impact. But I’ll certainly look into to it
@ShelbyTheMacaw Had a lot of harness and leash trained animals. A massive Doberman, two little cats, rabbits, quail, ducks, chickens, and turkeys. Not to fret, harnesses are good and SAFE for an animal. Collars are nice and good too, but harnesses are a safer option for your pet in any case. Have an awesome day bro.
They trust you, so cool!!!!
Love ❤

This is so heartbreaking 💔 it’s a sad reality for many many birds across the world
