In my opinion one of the greatest Christian singing songwriting duos of all time! One absolutely incredible awe-inspiring Spirit song after another! And their name Out of the Grey, incredible! And Scott Dente, like Phil keaggy and Rick Coghill formerly of Lamb one of the foremost Christian guitar players in the world!
100% agree! Twila Paris would be another all-time favourite for me. But yes, Christine and Scott are an amazing combo! Their music is so timeless and relaxing.
A cute video with a jazzy intro. Out Of The Grey was such a different kind of band. Different from others in Christian music and I felt because of it was underrated. You have to agree Christine's vocals are just beautiful. Diamond Days was a great cd.
I vaguely remember this duo, but then i remember this one song they did and it kept playing over and over again on a cassette player. I saw this video one time on gospel music channel and watching it again now, I'm like : Oh yeah i remember this. The message is very simple to understand and the world still needs God's love in their hearts. Jesus said : Love One Another As I Have Loved You.....
In 2010, i accepted Jesus as God and savior as you walk with Jesus you get to know gospel music and this is a really good the best of the best when i look at the comments i see that this song was a gospel hit in the 90's i was not saved but i really enjoy this song i really do beautiful.
Oh, man!! SUCH good music and as one said, grossly underrated. I think they were too ahead of their time so not appreciated as there's music now thats similar. The harmonies are clean and still give goose bumps- her voice has such a great tone, the guitar and drummer's licks are pre- Dave Matthews Band-like stuff. Really miss these guys and wish they'd come back!
We're you alive in the 60s and 70s...Randy Stonehill, Barry McGuire, Glen and Wendi Kaiser, Darrell Mansfield, Larry Norman, Kerry Livgren, Matthew Ward, and others.....don't sell them short if you only know the music of the 80s and 90s.....
70s and 80s were actually way better in my opinion. This is a great effort, but the video is a little confusing as it seems to have a cultural pull to "self". This is the first truly Christian video to make it on MTV. m.ua-cam.com/video/ftZAz3IfxYk/v-deo.html Note the obvious Christian content. No hiding of Jesus' name. Early artists like Chuck Girard, Sweet Comfort Band, Phil Keaggy, Paul Clark, Kelly Willard, Dan Peek are worth a listen. (Paul Clark basically put scripture to music.)
i grew up in the 90s and cant believe i missed out on this. however i was raised on keith green and phil keaggy as far as Christian music goes. this definitely still has the vibe and takes me back to the good times. the soothing harmonies of the chorus with the keyboard in the back, the smooth jazz guitar parts... just a masterpiece!
Every time i hear about it i can't help to go back when i was kid and enjoyed that video i loved that album and the sweet voice of Christine .. now 15 years latter i can still find the treasure of these lyrics .. Love for All!!
Well, if MTV and/or the like are showing it, there's a red flag. I like the song, but the video is odd-- as are many videos. The one guy with the tank top looks very much like a homosexual, and the overall demeanor of people in the video is very shallow and hollow.
Ronald M. no one said MTV showed it. This video was shown on a Christian station known as "Z" music channel. btw, who's wearing a tank top??? I don't see that. Why would you say he's a homosexual? He and his wife whom we see perform alongside in this video have been happily married for nearly thirty years.
seen them in concert at JESUS Northwest one time and guess who was playing bass guitar for em. Anyone remember Whiteheart from way back in the day and who one of their original bass players was. Tommy Sims I kid you not he was right there on stage with em too cool.
Their music was 🔥 their harmonies ❤️ her voice was beautiful and the message in each and every song lives on! I still play their songs from time to time. Definitely one of my favorite Christian Duos! Such a different and classy style!
within the dull glow of fluorescent lights, the office seemed devoid of life. Rows of cubicles stretched out like an endless maze, each housing a weary employee, their faces etched with fatigue. The sound of keyboard taps and hums of air conditioning provided a monotonous soundtrack, creating an atmosphere of repetitive routine. Yet, amidst this seemingly lifeless environment, a spark of creativity flickered. Deep within the recesses of a cluttered desk, unfinished projects lay in disarray, waiting to be ignited by the touch of inspiration. An idea brewed, slowly unfurling its tendrils, ready to break free from the confines of monotony and infuse vibrant energy into the once-dull workspace. As the day wore on, the seeds of innovation took root, promising a new chapter filled with transformation and growth. The stale air of boredom was about to be swept away, replaced by the intoxicating scent of possibility, as the office embraced the untapped potential within its walls.
I’m still here. The words in this song are 5x5. Perfect copy. I wish KLOVE-90s would play your music. There’s a lot of powerful message in your words and music. Thanks Scott and Chris. Blessings, Steve in California.
Oh wow!! I forgot all about how much i love this band. It explains why i also love The Korrs. I wonder if OOTG had any influence on them. Both band's lead singers have angelic voices. I remember thinking how much i wanted to find the love of my life and our song be from Out of the Grey music. ❤
I first heard of this song 5 yrs ago when going through moms cassette tapes...I was blown away by this masterpiece. The 90s ruined everything (in my opinion).....EXCEPT for Christian music.:)
Going back over different songs that i have on file and listen to, this one keeps coming back as if jesus is sending the message to us. All we need is love.
Heard another song on KLOVE while doing rideshare today. I couldn't wait to get home and go on UA-cam to see if I could find this song. Sounds just as meaningful as when it was first released.
SOOOOOOO GOOD! This is one of my all time favorite songs and groups. This is real. This is music. The message is great. Our God is and awesome God indeed!!!
the early 90s Christian music was great...... not to knock these new artist, but I feel that back then the songs were more about God and Jesus....now it is about I don't know what....it is like they barely talk or mention God..... I remember at 15 years old the radio was always on 93.3 The Joy FM.....
THIS IS SOOOOO GOOD...GREAT MESSAGE, GREAT GROOVE, GREAT VOCALS & GUITAR.. Out Of The Grey is my favorite Christian group. Our God is an awesome God indeed!!!
who's still loving this in 2024?
Me!
who isn't..
Yes sir!
Me for one!
What amazing singers. The tune and vocals are soo soothing. Up there with Twila Paris, Susan Ashton and Amy Grant as my all time favourites.
Oh for the days of good, CLEAN music videos. No raunchy dance moves or foul language needed. This one is just so......nice.
I can imagine hearing this song in the dreams in my sleep.😴
Still sounds great in 2024.
💯👍
All these many years later - 2024 - this song is still one of my all-time favs - just beautiful !!
In my opinion one of the greatest Christian singing songwriting duos of all time! One absolutely incredible awe-inspiring Spirit song after another! And their name Out of the Grey, incredible! Christine has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard to this day!
100% agree! Twila Paris would be another all-time favourite for me. But yes, Christine and Scott are an amazing combo!
Their music is so timeless and relaxing.

Ya, right to the Heavens 👍❤️🤗😇
A cute video with a jazzy intro. Out Of The Grey was such a different kind of band. Different from others in Christian music and I felt because of it was underrated. You have to agree Christine's vocals are just beautiful. Diamond Days was a great cd.
different from many because you could see and feel the heart of God through them.
I hosted a radio program at John Carroll University back in the mid 90's... I played them all the time... 😎
criminally underrated
Very well produced song.
What a wonderful song by Scott and Christine Dente'.
We need more music like this these days.
Very much so.
I agree
@@littlebitdaddy and what a lousy video.
This band was and is so underrated it's a crime.
I love 90's Christian pop. Wonderful music.
This sounds like smooth jazz.
The Golden Age of Christian pop!
The 90s were definitely the greatest time for Christian songs, give and take a couple years.
@@dvferyance that’s OOTG’s sound! Great memories
I vaguely remember this duo, but then i remember this one song they did and it kept playing over and over again on a cassette player. I saw this video one time on gospel music channel and watching it again now, I'm like : Oh yeah i remember this.

@@peacheslovesjesus
I'm good and how are you???
Amen! God bless you ❣️
She has the voice of an angel! So beautiful! I've always been a fan. God bless you, my Christian Sister!
Most underrated duo in any genre of music.
Enjoying this music in the Philippines here in 2024.
Christine Dentes’ voice is incredible. And this song is awesome too.
I have this on tape or Cd . I haven't heard this in a long time. I really liked this song when it was released and still like it another. ❤❤❤
What an amazing couple. Some of my favorite CCM songs of that era. Rich chords and harmonies. I was blessed to hear them in concert at ORU.
So cool!👍🤗
Oh, man!! SUCH good music and as one said, grossly underrated. I think they were too ahead of their time so not appreciated as there's music now thats similar. Everything about this song is perfect...the melody, lyrics, color, vocals, guitar solo. I absolutely love it!!!
The substance of songs in the 90's has not been duplicated since.
Agree, 90's Christian Rock was at its peak
The 80's or 90's. you have never lied!!
Yes,the mid 80s to the mid 90s, the best in C.C.M.☆♡☆

The voice of an angel. And she looks like one too. A very pretty lady!
I've always loved this song. Haven't heard it in many years. I finally found it again. I saved it to my phone. Been jamming out to it for a while now.
Same here, brother👍😇

The 90s... woot woot!
A great part of the 90's :-)
I love them!!!💜💜💜This was my favorite album!!
❤️☝️❤️✝️❤️🎶
To God be the Glory!
If you've never heard of the albums and videos of praise baby, she lends her beautiful voice to the soundtrack of these videos.
The 90s sparked my great interest in Christian music, particularly Jars of Clay and Audio Adrenaline.
The Dentes are pure sweet and my go-to every day.
Oh, and I have given this song and others they do LOTS of radio airplay.
they have been on my player pract non stop, i blv God is up to something w/them :)
One of my favorite Jesus jams. Excellent. Been looking for this track, for quite some time.
All we need is to hold out god's love share it with each other.

I miss Zonovan music. I'm an atheist now, but it's still good.

God drew me and I obeyed the Gospel '96 was the BEST YEAR of my life!

A truly fantastic song since the first time I'd heard it many years ago.
