Nano was a great car. Had one and used it so often both for city drives and very very long journeys with almost zero expenses on maintenance. Sold it for want of money then.....😭😭😭

Tata Nano is a great value for money, I own it for last 6 years now and feel it has already delivered the value I invested on it. In my opinion, it failed as a product due to inappropriate marketing - branded as 'A car for the masses'. In our society, people have a tendency to associate your status to your car and not evaluate the value for the money you invest on it. So a car branded for being economical wouldn't go well with pride and ego. Honestly speaking, even I had a dilemma while buying this vehicle however I am satisfied that I agreed to my father's advice to purchase it.

Very nice information. All cars were cute, but failed due to poor marketing, sales service, car life, and odd structure. Later on banks started giving loans at cheaper interest. So people avoided such small cars, and preferred to pay loan for say 15 years. If Fiat cost Rs 2.5 lacs, why should one pay 1.5 lacs for small Maruti at the initial stage.
