why are a lot of players gunning for max contracts??? Especially those that aren't Max contract players? Also even if you're a max contract player, isnt it better to negotiate a decent contract to help the organization AND also to make you at least better at being tradable if your team decides they don't want to be loyal to you because if you can at least get better at your game, your skills, hopefully you get more playing time and can improve on your stats and then maybe learn how to make teams better this way if you do get on the trading board, more teams, especially a team better to win a championship, might actually want you. Your contract is something that team they trade you to might afford, because of your stats better teams want you AND you are a player that actually shows you can improve any team you go to. I mean its all better said than done, im not in the NBA so I dont know shit but at least you have some form of strategy that you can play cause the NBA is a business at the end of the day and whether you like it or not you gotta play ball...."no pun intended". One last thing, endorsements, if your stats are getting better and you can be an all NBA team and/or ALLSTAR, you can get endorsements that can help you get money on the side so you dont have to rely 100% on the NBA to get paid. Again this is all an idea/opinion. Just thinking out loud, I dont know shit lol
It's the TV deals. That's why contracts have significantly increased since the 2016 free agency. Bro, Whiteside went from earning 500k to getting a 100 million contract from Miami🥶 Owners can't force players to signed cheaper deals. If a free agent or a player of their own wants more money, teams either have to let that player walk and watch them (potentially) excel on another team. Or overpay just to retain them. That's the game nowadays 🤷♂️
love how the player complain about the ORGANIZATION not doing what the players want but they are the ones paying out the millions every year.... everytime i see a player complain that there team didnt get a player, well take a pay cut so they can get the player..HELL NO!!!! but want someone else to pay the bill....
Taking a pay cut doesn't always lead to a team using that paycut money and bringing in the player that was desired. Ask Lillard, when he took a pay cut in Portland, all for the team to only turn that into Evan Turner 😂

They didn’t wanna trade Jonathan kuminga for Paul George but definitely for Lauri lol 😂
Who’s running this shit show
I’m a warrior fan and I’m telling you right now. Kuminga WILL start, he WILL shine and he WILL get his bag/extension. Bet
I'm going to come back to this comment in January...
Kuminga is a star and sbout to.proove it this season
1:57 start of vid
Star and kuminga on the thumbnail 💀
Gsw is over. They don't any scorer to help steph especially in crunch time.
If they smart they'll come off Draymond and Wiggins
He's a restrictive, free agent bro....
Anyone blaming draymond doesn't know Basketball shoes
gimme that 2k25 boi
11.9 ppg in the last 3 seasons, it's a smart decision for gsw for not giving max contract to JK
yea in only 21 minutes per games.
@@Christisking864 then he should make out of it..he was given a chance right?
Not my team I don’t care
My fakers are trash
Why are you here then?
@@R3tr0Burd idk
Shit been going down hill ever since bob left
Why not trade Wiggins , because kuminga is younger and is got a more upside, where as Andrew Wiggins is only getting older sure he’s still good so why not trade Wiggins now so that kuminga can get more playing time especially since he will probably be even better in 2025 because of his expiring contract and because Klay gone , so he’ll look to step up even more also I think warriors need to look to the future look at the young guys and see what the can bring to the table instead of focusing on old guys who are only gonna decline minus curry, curry will only be better
Warrior for the rest of his life?! You mean career, i hope.
The warriors biggest issue is their fixation on winning with the core 3. Klay and Draymond are washed and aren’t starters anymore. Kerr needs to stick to coaching instead of politics. Wiggins is starting to look like a scrub again. Kuminga and Podziemski aren’t superstars. This franchise is in shambles.

Ooohh, this is gonna get interesting.
Time to bring back Jordan Poole😂
Trade green and Kuminiga
so your leaving the team without a PF?
Jk signing an extension and he going to show out for the warriors
They like my Lakers won't even get in the playin
Lakers made the play-in though🤔
The Warriors put too much faith in two young "could be guys" instead of using them to get the much better fitting Markannen
why are a lot of players gunning for max contracts???
Bro, Whiteside went from earning 500k to getting a 100 million contract from Miami🥶
Owners can't force players to signed cheaper deals. If a free agent or a player of their own wants more money, teams either have to let that player walk and watch them (potentially) excel on another team. Or overpay just to retain them.
That's the game nowadays 🤷♂️
It's not looking good for the home team.
No one will ever say the truth. "Draymond messed up this team with his bad behavior"
love how the player complain about the ORGANIZATION not doing what the players want but they are the ones paying out the millions every year.... everytime i see a player complain that there team didnt get a player, well take a pay cut so they can get the player..HELL NO!!!! but want someone else to pay the bill....
Taking a pay cut doesn't always lead to a team using that paycut money and bringing in the player that was desired.
Ask Lillard, when he took a pay cut in Portland, all for the team to only turn that into Evan Turner 😂
@@berserkmonk5331 i know but the players want the owner to pay but dont want to let go of the money they make...
I’m done I honestly dgaf nomo for curry he’s did enough for us klay n dem can try hard to get their ring or rings again😅 kuz this is ridiculous
If their front office was really smart, they would've traded Draymond & Curry (before they decided to extend his contract).
But they're choosing to be 'fools' instead smh
@@ColdHoops nah not curry either dray or klay tbh but is jus weird how they weird klay and his decision to leave and checkers patterned to fall fr after that !!
Same situation with Jalen Green and Sengun?
Basically.
But, they'll pay them both.
I was one of many who believed Rockets would've traded Green by now, but haven't.
That's not to say it still can't happen, but it looks more likely that they'll keep them both
Kerr is overrated
As a Warriors fan... Steve Kerr and Draymond Green are responsible for dynasty coming to an end 💯
what makes you say that?
Maybe bc he made kd,poole leave and kerr bad coaching at some points in time. Also may have distorted others from coming to the bay
@@alexbrown3099 1. KD was leaving regardless to join kyrie i doubt he wanted to stay a 3 year. 2. it's pooles fault for being traded he only has himself to blame for letting himself think he was bigger than he really was and becoming a ball hog turnover machine
@@JP-ks7ey Agreed with you on the 2nd but for kd coming off two championships it wouldn't make sense for him to leave he found a place where he could finally win but then again your opinion all good tho
Frank Walks
They need dwight howard back
What has he done, not a damn thing
Since when Kuminga is a star?
