We see so many unpleasant things every day but just to watch you and your enthusiasm for the simple things , it’s just so nice to sit back and enjoy the pleasant things in life.
I just found your channel and, must say, I’m having the most wonderful time. ❤ The decorations are amazing. One doesn’t have to spend a fortune to make something nice. Also, you are authentic and don’t shy away from the ‘sticky bits’ of life. I’m so glad your dad is still around to share your holidays. I lost my mother last year after a short illness and wouldn’t trade our last Christmas for all the gold in the world. I dropped everything to make sure the last of our precious was just that, precious. Screw the list should be embroidered on a pillow! Thanks for sharing! ❤
I just love your upbeat videos with beautiful landscapes, DIY's and just being a regular down to earth person. Thank you for being understanding like a good friend!!! ❤❤❤❤
I’m so glad that your Dad made a full recovery Cherry. It’s times like that that the things that are truly important show themselves. Sometimes I think we lose sight of those things.
So glad I found your channel! You love everything I love ❤ what a lovely cosy vibe your videos have! We live in North Norfolk and I've only made it to Oxford once but I'm really craving another visit :)
Cherry, I love how you inspire your audience while having a genuine persona. Your cottage and businesses will be beautiful during the holiday season I’m sure. I just wish we could get some holiday-like weather here in Atlanta, Georgia.. still have the air con blasting.
I've been looking forward to this all day, but it's been such a busy day, I thought I would have to wait ages to see it. So not wanting to do that I'm watching it close to midnight 😂 I may regret this in the morning 😆 So glad book club is delayed a few days, I might actually finish it. Have a great week xx
Oh, I just discovered you.. and I'm already in love with you. You are such a sweet and kind soul. Your video was like a cup of hot chocolate for my being. Thank you❤❤
Hi Cherry ! I am new to your channel and must say , I am loving every bit I see! I want to thank you in advance for the upcoming English Countryside Advent Calendar! I look forward with great anticipation to each entry , and I want you to know that the effort , time and energy , and hard work! which you have invested in it are much , much appreciated. God bless you and Merry Christmas from Maryland, USA ❣️🎄❣️
Hi Cherry, I hope you are keeping well. I just wanted to say again how much i'm enjoying this new Christmas edition. Your vlogs bring me so much pleasure and joy. Your enthusiasm and joy in what you do is so lovely to see. I'm so looking forward to the rest of November and December in watching your cosy homely dream vlogs. Have a great new week.
❤ oh how I adore you and your videos and how beautiful is where you live. Xmas eve is special for me too, playing Xmas carols with our brass band all December but especially on Xmas eve. Usually home late lol but happy. Much love. Di xx
I thoroughly enjoyed watching your vlog this week Cherry. Well actually I have enjoyed all of them so far to be honest! But you're really getting into the swing of Christmas now and I loved coming along to Arundel and Oxford what pretty places! I so wish I was there. I loved the hop wreath it looks perfect upon your mantle. Looking forward to the next episode x
Your cafe is so charming. I love it. Your statement, screw the list, gave me such a great laugh! I love the motto. Striving to not let the season overwhelm you is a good thing. The little shops in Arundel are quite lovely. The hops garlands are amazing! They look beautiful on your hearth - so perfect! Thank you for the peaceful moments in your video. Have a fabulous week. Take care. ❤
Thank you Cherry for this video. I very much enjoyed it. I'm also a fan of Richard Osman. You mentioned a podcast you listened to where he was interviewed. What's the name of that podcast?
It is truly magical there in the mornings!❤ The strange thing is that since I've found your channel, it has been misty (we call it foggy) here in the mornings lately as well! Strange! That is usually a spring time occurrence here, if I'm recalling correctly. Magical!😃
So happy to hear your father is doing well and fully recovered. What a miracle! Such a quaint deli you have. I love the men's group at the table. The tea shops are something out of a Lifetime Christmas movie. I want to be there. Winkworth Arboretum landscape looks amazing and so serene. Reminds me of parts of New England in the States where I live. So picturesque. Brilliant idea with the mini wreaths .You are pretty clever. Not sure if you meant to to do it, but I chuckled when the music got a bit softer when you entered the square to the library LOL. Can't wait for the December emails. Thank you for all you do. I feel like we could be fast friends. I hope your family has a fantastic week.
Your enthusiasm is contagious! The energy that shines from you gives me all the Christmas vibes. You gave me a lot of inspiration to make our home cosy and christmassy. Thank you. Oh, and your deli......it looks stunning. It is on my wishlist to visit soon. Lots of love from France.
First time viewer and immediate subscriber. Looking forward to more quaint, peaceful and beautiful content from the British countryside. Much appreciated. Sending best wishes from Ontario, Canada.❤
Welcome aboard, that’s amazing and thank you so much for subscribing. I’ve not been fortunate enough to visit your amazing country but I will do one day ♥️🎄
What a wonderful relaxing vlog. Better still your ethos. Love it. Love the hops garland too. We had hops garlands round the Church gate when my daughter got married. They were then on the beams in our kitchen for years. Yes they made a mess when first putting them up but that was so worth it. 🎄
Cherry. Thank you for nurturing us with your simple acts of joy. It’s been such a rough week and this warmed my soul. I have a question about your fabulous lights if you have a moment? Are those several strands that you combined together or do they come like that in the UK?
Picture of the queen is my favourite - Royals are important. I live on my own and finance myself and Christmas is about the tree - a real one and sending cards and the turkey dinner but most of all about having my daughters and grandchildren hopefully with me over the period. I like to be in my own home as i had to go to my sister's for ten years and my parents before that so it is precious to have my own Christmas now. Presents are mainly for the children not the adults.
Lovely as usual, thank you. Thank you for saying you felt overwhelmed. I'm very overwhelmed anxious generally. I watch as your videos are fabulous, not very good at crafty stuff or cooking.😊
Love your energy 😊 and you make everything look so beautiful and magical 🥰. I was wondering if you don't mind to share what makeup you use, looks so beautiful and natural ,love it 😊
So lovely. First time seeing your channel. Loved it and subscribed. Looking forward to catching up on past episodes at the weekend. ❤️ Cheers from the Pacific Northwest.
🌲I've just discovered you and subscribed! I found your vlog delightful, felt I was watching scenes of a BBC production when you took us through the town. 🌲🎁
I think if you are going to have log fires you should hang the hope higher to take your eye up to the shelf. Some greenery is what I collect - fir, holly and ivy for tradition. I make a sprig for my front door with ribbon and lights at night mix of fake and real tea lights. The tree is the masterpiece and then when Christmas is over I call it Spring and bring in bulbs and my Amaryllis. New start and new growth.
Just came across your Channel. Thank God your father is okay now. I also suffer from vertigo but it's gone now due to change of diet and exercise. Keep up the great work. And yes nothing like decorating for Christmas. ❤
When my dad died my mother had that date calculator and left it on the date he died and it reminded me. My sister took it probably but glad she did as I found it sad. Drum is lovely.
Just come across your Vlogs Cherry,I too live in the beautiful county of West Sussex,I count myself very lucky to live in such a Area of natural beauty in the little town of Steyning,A far cry from the hustle and bustle of London where I was brought up,November my favourite time of year my birthday this week and then I will be getting ready for Christmas .
Oh I love Steyning❤ I live near Petworth but the Charity I work for has an office in Steyning so I am there two days a week. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area, I live right by the South Downs Way and the views are wonderful.
Not sure why but your videos have popped up on my feed. So glad they have! I have subscribed. Not so much for the content-which is quite nice, but most of all because of your lovely, outgoing personality--a pleasure to listen too and you did make me giggle a few times! Oh!! could you please tell me the name of the wallpaper in your shop? I know it is a William Morris design, but which one? Keep up the great work:)
It is about having fun where you can and not let people pull you down as I find a lot of negativity in places. For me it is about trying to help my community and I do litter picks and loving my surroundings and not taking on too much. Keeping well and trying to enjoy life but there is still the washing, ironing, housework, house and car maintenance and food shopping and school runs to help out but trying to see the fun in things.
I just came upon your channel today and this video is simply wonderful. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm. May I ask about the cut cedar pieces for your garland. Did you cut the newer growth or from the bottom of the tree? I have plenty of cedar trees on my property but I'm always hesistant on where to cut so I don't cut at all - lol! Thank you.
Of course! There are so many cedar around and about that I took a few branches from each of them and had four bags full. I took a couple from the bottom and a few more but evenly distributed. Bottom ones don’t grow back so I careful only to trim and not entirely remove. I hope that helps. Cx
We see so many unpleasant things every day but just to watch you and your enthusiasm for the simple things , it’s just so nice to sit back and enjoy the pleasant things in life.
Surround yourself by the good things and let the bad go. It makes life so much better.
Yes, it all gets too much sometimes. Nothing wrong with a bit of Pollyanna now and again ♥️
I don’t know how I stumbled across this channel, but I need to be friends with this delightful lady immediately 😊😊😊

Gosh, no I don’t know. It was at Winkworth Arboretum so if you send it to them with a screen shot I’m certain they would tell you. Cx

You speak so well, but "sat" is past tense. I am "sitting", I sat there/here. Most people say "sat" when they mean "sitting". Love your vlogs! xx
It’s common vernacular for Brits to say that. Colloquialism
