@@coletrain583do you really not know how 'enemies to lovers' works? I mean it's one of the most popular romance tropes ever. People don't ship them because they like seeing them stab each other. The point is wanting to see them grow. People want shin to be redeemed. (Redemption through love or friendship are also super popular tropes and can be amazing when the writing is good) People who like this trope see the potential in a relationship slowly changing over time, usually because characters have to work together for some reason, realize they aren't that different or make a connection, leading to one of them slowly changing sides(usually the villain) or both of them defecting and creating their own side. Some of the most beloved stories ever have an enemies to lovers plot (Romeo and juliet; pride and prejudice; game of thrones; fucking hell, star wars has already done it as well) When it's well written it can make for a beautiful and dramatic love story, especially if the stakes are high and both of the characters have different goals that oppose each other. Makes for some amazing drama and is a great way to explore a characters emotions, motivations, flaws and way of thinking.
@@1112-m6p I know how it works. But first impressions don't give the idea that's the story they want to go for. Not to mention, it wouldn't generate the same amount of emotion compared to friends to lovers.
lowkey hate people when people make a star wars edit so good it makes me wanna join the fandom again and watch all the new tv shows but here i am... considering this...again...😔
lol that's so valid. I'm actually really furious with this pairing because it's dragged me into writing 150k fic when I really can't afford to work on any other fics at the moment 😭 I'm really glad you liked it (even if it has made you consider joining the fandom again sorrys). Thanks a lot for commenting :)
Really, really well done in song choice and editing!!! You have really captured the electricity that sizzled and smoldered on screen between these two characters, which, it turns out, was in no small part aided by the real life chemistry between Natasha and Ivanna. Even if one doesn't ship Sabine and Shin in a romantic sense (although I wholeheartedly do), there is no denying the magnetism that pulls these two characters together like stars colliding. There is so much more story to tell with Shabine/Wolfwren, if not on screen then no doubt in a plethora of fan fiction. Lover, hunter, friend and enemy, indeed!!!👏👏👏
After everything Sabine did to find Ezra, risking the galaxy and starting another war? This is not really a good way to move the character in a sympathetic direction. Why people shipped two girls who don't even like each other and were set up just as rivals is beyond insane, it hurts.
This is incredibly rude. There are plenty of ships that I don’t like but I’ve never once in my life gone onto somebody fanvid or fanart (that they spent days or weeks working on) in order to voice my distaste for it. Because that would be a horrible thing to do. Nobody is forcing you to watch fanvids for this ship. When I see fandom content for characters or ships I don’t like, I simply ignore them. Because that’s the mature thing to do. And then I go and focus on what I DO like and what brings me joy. You’ll be much happier if you live your life like this and you’ll also be a better person for it.
Bro this is a classic enemies to lovers ship. How does it hurt you? Also Sabine’s motivation is clearly stated to wanting to find her brother. If you dont like the ship, just dont interact, it isnt going to kill you
The fact like all the actors support the ship is everything to me. I hope we will see Sabine and Shin again and see a shift in the dynamic
Someone who stabbed her? No, just no.
I wonder what people would think if shin was a guy choking out Sabine for pleasure using the force? It's woke lunacy.
@@patrickamsterdam8730 Honestly even if Shin was a guy and people still shipped them, it would still be messed up.

If they do end up getting together I really hope they don’t try to redeem shin hati because I dig their antagonism

@@Burntoutgiftedkidz It just won’t lead to a very unique dynamic. Not only that it would be kinda just cliche on its own.
I’m hoping season 2 shin dies
Why? And how?
@@ncard00 the answer is obvious
