    Played a gig with a 16 after 10 minutes of instruction. Went great!! Very easy basics.

    The QSC TouchMix videos are very well done, and informative. I realized that I needed one of these mixers. I purchased a TM-8 for processing my drumset. It operated for almost a year, but then developed several issues. When powering my TM-8 the headphones had no sound, the four aux outs displayed full red on their outputs. One of the mixer channels was also full red, and so were the two main outs. I had NO efx, comp or eq. Powering the TM-8 off and back on would result in fixing the problem, but not every time. I shipped the mixer back to QSC and the tech said he replaced the SD card. Now it’s STILL doing the same thing! Latest from QSC tech said he’s going to replace the board. Sucks for me. I wonder what the failure rate is on these products.

    I believe I've put the Touchmix 30-pro through the toughest real world tests it could go through, remote multi track recording at live events, while also running FOH and monitors, all in the humid, hot equatorial climate in S.E. Asia, through monsoons season, near the ocean, traveling on non-paved rural roads, flying in small airplanes, the whole nine yards, it's been through tests that would bring the big expensive monitors to their knees, if not to their graves.
    I remember asking if the unit had windows drivers, to which QSC replied that they were Mac only, that Windows drivers were not "on the table" at that point. I advised that they would sell far more if they had Windows drivers, as Apple is not at all common here, a few months later Windows drivers appeared. Instant popularity over here, they put Mackie, Allen and Heath, and even Behringer to bed. I hope that it was my suggestion that helped them sell more units.
    My only wishes are that it could;
    1. record at 24/96, and
    2. send the individual tracks over the cat-5 to my computer, rather than just USB.
    Other than that, the perfect mixer, live stage or studio, for this part of the world.
