Why is it totally fine to shame someone for being thin or athletic with "you're so skinny, you should eat more", or thinking I'm crazy for wanting to lose fat/weight to be more fit? Then if you say someone is overweight and they should lose some to be healthy, that is a horrible offense? She took a few weeks to find out what My tastes are and guided me toward healthy versions of what I like. True cycling friends are the ones who mock you while you're suffering up a hill, and then ride circles around you when you're at the top puking your guts out!

You find that drafting behind the “big guy” is the way to go. I tell folks that I’m breaking wind when I’m in front .. then they back off .. LOL

I enjoy the usual videos, but this was something quite different, and I liked it even more!
I've always been a decent climber, because I weigh less than 150, but at the same time knowing some of the guys I beat up hills are making way more power. This really puts what they are doing in perspective.

This was great. I always get jealous of the skinny guys. I love climbing despite the effects of gravity on me. I'm currently 208, was out in LA a few weeks ago. Managed to do the Encanto>39>GMR>Baldy lifts route in about 3:45. Long time to be climbing but was worth it. Cookie 🍪 corner was a bitch!!

Unlike weight in a backpack, real fat needs blood and oxygen so your heart has to pump that much harder.

    Points about this video.
    1) dropping the bike, don't worry it's a Disc bike, they get "dropped" all the time.
    2) it's not fair to push a ex-pro when they don't have their EPO.
    3) maybe if the fat guy got off the e-bike he wouldn't be fat?
    Ok, I'm done.

Dude, he is overweight, 260 pounds is a ton for his height and build. If he squared away his diet and eating routine, he would enjoy cycling and his life waaaaaay more. I used to be 240, and dropped 60 pounds myself, and I never, ever want to go above 200 pounds again.

Unfair test for Phil. Paul is much bigger guy, his "in-shape" weight is probably around 200 lb. So, his extra weight is 60 lb, which is 30% extra. Phil should have added 30% to his body weight, which is 45 lb, not 100 lb...
