- This will bore the ever-living **** out of you if you aren't a synth nerd.
And yeah I'm aware that there's a couple sequences in the original I forgot. I only have so much synth. And it's already 15 minutes long.

I probably watched this 150 times, please never delete it
I never get bored of watching this. Years later I keep coming back to it. One of the best videos on you tube. I could watch reconstructions of 80s Tangerine Dream sequences all day long. Wish you had more!
And here I am another 7 years on, still watching this!
thats love in many waves and ways. thanx so much for showing this !
A little late to this party, but as others have said, this is a fantastic exploratory video of an awesome song. Great setup, great explanations. Wish it was longer. Thanks!!
definitely very cool... sounded great Suit !!!, complex patching is always so much fun... great tonality out of the modules too...
I fell asleep to this last night and it was so awesome.
Very flattered! Thank you.
Love this!! And thanks for the Numerology-file. I am trying to learn all this stuff about Berlin School-sequencing. It's pretty hard to figure out but I just love these ever evolving small melodies.
I've been under a rock, how did I miss this? nice work STG
one of my favorite TD songs (fan since high school) - thanks for this
by the way, nice appearance on ProSynth Network the other day
Thank you!
@@suitandtieguy it's well deserved :-)
you gave me more appreciation for that great track in showing all the layers (how the 'wurst' was made, LOL)
those guys were quite clever and industrious back then
also your 2 versions on BC were great, the Chicago one was a very unique, clever take on this venerable track
@@SynthAddict thank you. I really want to press vinyl of the "Chicago mix." I have a concept for an acid house TD tribute 12". Check out track 3 of my Knobcon 2012 set on Bandcamp if you want to hear a rough of another TD acid tribute.
Will do, thanks
@@suitandtieguy OK you recently inspired me to make this cover thanks to your excellent video and info - I tried to do it as another "one synth/all parts challenge" but the JD-Xi wasn't able to do it alone - I gave you a shoutout as well and it's on Matrixsynth now :-)
