Honestly trolldier takes more skill than splash damage spamming with the RL (i.e. not even attempting to aim for the enemy directly but just at the general location of their feet, for like 50-70 dmg per rocket)
Imagine just installing the game and seeing a whole team of trolldiers flying through the sky like a pack of birds, I’d think that it’d be the meta honestly.
I also use spacebar for B-Hop. With a little practice and a decent setup/connection it can actually be fairly consistent. Thank you for the representation b4nny.
I've played with the "me" guy before in a Badwater pub. This guy once humiliated me in a trolldier duel where I lost 10-1 against him and he would carry the hell out of his team every game. The other day I met this guy again, he was on a 30 killstreak as trolldier like it was nothing special. I asked him how does he get so good at trolldier to which he responded "doing jump maps". Either way the guy has 10k hours as trollder and is one of the rarest breed of tf2 players I will ever see.
Seeing Jay made me really want to get good at the market gardner but god dam do i suck at it.. at the same time tho, those crisp 195s.. and the sound when it lands guuuh
My trolldier is really inconsistent. I had a game of Hightower a while ago. Right as I joined, I got a b-hop kill on someone at the top. I didn't get a single garden afterwards.
I was up against a swarm of trolldiers the other day, I managed to dodge and weave for a while but I can’t aim for shit so they just bombarded me for so long I ended up backing into their teammates

The most fun mge sessions of all time are market gardener crits only vs direct hit air shots only, and swap every round
Its easier to hit someone with a market gardner than it is to get a double airshot
