La importancia de las mujeres era muy importante en los antiguos turcos. El poder de representar al monarca es solo de su esposa, los turcos son monógamos desde la antigüedad. Al igual que los lobos monógamos. Las parejas de lobos son inseparables y las hembras luchan con los machos. No hay discriminación de género en la nación turca, todos son soldados.
Eso era antes del Islam. La sociedad turca después del islam es otra cosa : patriarcal , machista y donde los derechos de la mujer son vulnerados por leyes retrógradas que someten la mujer totalmente al hombre y las desamparan .

Hay varias versiones acerca de ese mito. Está la versión que explica que no hubo un solo sobreviviente, sino que fueron 3 hermanos (es más común en turkmenistán, kirguizistán, y uzbekistán hasta donde sé). Los dos mayores huyeron, y el menor quedó escondido entre los escombros. Asena, loba a la que la tribu respetaba por ser dueña de la colina cerca de la tribu, crió al hermano menor que era un bebé. Adquirió entonces los rasgos y el liderazgo de un lobo. Cuando se volvieron adultos y ya habían iniciado su propia tribu tenían el problema de que uno solo debía liderarla. Los dos hermanos oyeron los rumores de que su hermano menor estaba vivo, y fueron a donde vivía la loba. Cuando lo encontraron le abrazaron y lloraron, cuando vieron a Asena, la reverenciaron y le dieron las gracias por cuidar de su hermano menor. Le contaron entonces, que habían reconstruído su tribu y que lo necesitaban a él como líder ya que él tenía las características que un líder necesitaba para que la tribu nunca fuese vencida: las de un lobo. El hermano menor ya adulto, entre lágrimas se negaba porque no quería abandonar a su Madre Asena. Sin embargo de repente la Loba, se pusó detrás de él y con la cabeza le empujó para fuese con sus hermanos, haciéndole entender que él debía ir con ellos. El hermano menor entiende el gesto y decide ir con sus hermanos. Cuando por fín parten del lugar, como cuando eran pequeños y la tribu admiraba a la loba ahuyando esta se postra en la cima de la colina y ahuya. Siendo respondido por los hermanos que ahuyaban con júbilo porque los turcos, ahora hijos de una loba no iban a temerle a ninguna otra tribu. .... Esto explica mucho de los turcos y me parece muy interesante, Asia Central era un lugar hostil y debían optar por tener una mentalidad de supervivencia basado en convencerse de que al tener un origen tan difícil, ese origen es lo que los hace más fuertes que los demás. Y lo hemos visto a lo largo de la historia. Desde las invasiones de mongoles, la conversión al islam y posterior dominación del mundo islámico, la expansión de el Imperio Otomano, e incluso hoy la reaparición de la importancia de turquía en el plano geopolítico del medio oriente en su invasión a Siria. Todo bien con la historia hasta que llegaste al final. Te saltaste la importancia e influencia del imperio cristiano Bizantino, amigo. Y la resistencia de los cristianos turcos a los invasores. Asimismo, ¿estar orgulloso que los turcos hayan hasta la fecha invadan otros pueblos como a los armenios o kurdos o siríacos? No me parece orgulloso, ni a su población. Esas ideas son retrógradas de un gobierno tirano y no representa a su población. No es digno de admirar. Por el contrario, su historia en el chamanismo y animismo es maravillosa y ha influenciado en varias culturas occidentales y fuera de esta, hasta no dejaron de adorar a la Madre(con el símbolo de la media luna y la estrella, otro símbolo heredado del imperio Bizantino que consideraba a la diosa Artemisa o Venus).

In addition, the symbols of the Runic script used by the Scandinavians before Christianity are almost the same as the symbols of the Göktürk alphabet (the first Turkish state whose name included "Turk" word directly) . For example, Ancient Greece was built on the basis of Cretan/Minoan civilization which is now known to be ethnically connected with the people of Levant and Palestine (Phoenicians) and probably North Africans (like Ancient Egyptians). Greeks came later from North Balkans in two big waves, razed down the cities of indigenious people of Pheloponnes, Attic and some Aegean Islands and took their culture and civilization, even the alphabeth. Apparently you have bias against Turks, as you called them barbarians but also it is Clear that you don't know anything about genetical surveys on Kokturk mummies whose genetical material resembles so much to Etruscians. Think about two different peoples, both of which have similar myths (like a child or children upgrown by a female wolf and guided to the place they would live in the future by her) or titles (Tarkanius, Tarkan) or art and handworks that are so similar and use the same symbols, a non-Indo-European, non-Semitic language and a similar tribal organisation. It should be studied if both ethnicities has a connection or not; this type of studies dont exist because of the bias like yours, so you cant be clear if there is a connection or not. If you are sure, then why you don't support a survey to make this argument scientifically proven? Have a good night.
And a note: Turks don't come from Mongols, in fact if there is something about an origin connection, Mongols seems to be come from Turks and because of their geographical location they contacted the Chinese most (like all nations, this means they are genetically mixed with Chinese yo an extent). Also in history Turkish tribes were mentioned very earlier than Mongols.
You are right! To see more connection about the Etruscans and Turks, you can read the book "Etrüskler Türk İdiler" meaning "Etruscans were Turks" by Adile Ayda. And can check out the linguist Kamil Kartal. Unlike western Turcologists, they dont try to make everything IE, or try to make every connection between the Etruscans and Turks IE. Western Turcologists are doing very wrong things and are coming to very funny conclusions that even with a proper research, you can prove them wrong! We will not let this happen! We wont let them declare everything to be IE! This is not linguistics, what they are trying to do is to try to make themselves seem superior!

I lived a very simple time In Georgia Caucasian Mountains for 2 years, watching wild animals sometimes. U can't monitor wolves every day but once u meet them... Definitely one will be fan of them. They live as clans/families. When they travel u will see a long line the pack order is split into two chains of command, one chain for the male, and one for the female. At the top of each chain is the 'Alpha' animal, and at the lowest of the chain is the 'omega' animal. And traces of the pack in snow... Ahhh. that is beatiful. One line. Strait a line. U'll never see one paw trace out of line. A great and honorable dycipline exist in the pack. Old Turks used to leave fresh food on the remote areas for wolves. The reason was 1-to protect travellers and flocks from wolf attacks by keeping them full. 2-in order not to have to kill them. You're right to say that "it's wrong to give animals (expecially wild ones) mytologic roles. But we may still respect them, right? Many thanks for the video...Good job!

Me parece muy interesante tu comentario sobre como el lobo cambio de ser visto positivamente a tener una connotación negativa en las sociedades europeas, considero (a criterio propio) que además del aspecto religioso también podría estar relacionado el hecho de las distintas invaciones que el imperio otomano efectúo en los reinos cristianos de Europa del este y el miedo que esto plasmo en el inconciente de los europeos. Siempre que entro a un vídeo tuyo aprendo más cosas que ignoraba sobre Turquía. Llamativo como los lobos pasaron a ser en el imaginario del hombre, primeramente a tener estatus de divinidades casi, y reverenciados, a luego ser censurados y perseguidos. Hoy en día los Estados abogan por la conservación de ellos, en el parque Yellowstone en EEUU fueron exterminados durante un tiempo y hace 20 años los reintrodujeron con éxito. Soy de un país que tiene mucha diversidad de especies pero aquí no tenemos lobos, por eso me llaman mucho la atención! Termino parafraseando una linea que vi el otro día "El León y el Tigre podrán ser los reyes de la selva, pero el Lobo no actúa en el circo"

Yo soy de una tierra de lobos y como tú dices, ahora se está intentando luchar más por su conservación, pero los ganaderos siempre están en su contra por esa mala fama que aún hoy sigue arrastrando. Es cierto, yo soy de Colombia y aquí no tenemos lobos, para conocerlos tuve que ir a Los Estados Unidos. Sueño con ir a Noruega, allí hay un tour con ellos sueltos, en su estado natural

One more detail : The name of the wolf which feeds Romus and Romulus is Siena. Siena - Asena . Some stories say that Romus and Romulus were kids from Turkish tribes who moved to Rome and found the city. This similar legend and similar name of wolf is interesting in this point of view.

En cuanto a esta mitología debo.decir que también la desconocía y me.ha resultado muy interesante. El lobo es mi animal favorito y es verdad que en los cuentos se le da mala reputación pero menos mal que Felix Rodríguez de la fuente recuperó el.concepto.del lobo como aquello que debes respetar pero no temer. Ciertamente el lobo fue un animal muy respetado en gran parte de los pueblos turco-mongoles. De hecho los mongoles creían que el nacimiento de la dinastía Kan (de la cual saldría el futuro Gengis Kan) era fruto de la unión entre el Lobo Azul y la Cierva Parda.

There is a very interesting part of Turkic mythology. In most legends dragons reperesented as evil, cruel, greedy creatures. But in Turkic legends dragons are wise creatures and friends of humanity.
The topics you are interested in are very diverse and interesting. Superficial people are not concerned with these issues. There are many prejudices about the Turks. Throughout history, Russians and Turks have been two others in Europe. There are not many other nations that have challenged Europe recently. Turkish history of the last 1,000 years has been affected by Arab, Persian and Eastern Roman civilizations. But there is a long history before. The period we live in Asia is just getting enlightened.

Las diferentes religiones se sirvieron de las celebraciones y ritos paganos para crear sus festividades , personajes bíblicos a la medida , para que esos pueblos paganos aceptaran mas fácilmente sus domas y creencias, es decir que tienen un origen común pagano.

Hay varias versiones acerca de ese mito. Está la versión que explica que no hubo un solo sobreviviente, sino que fueron 3 hermanos (es más común en turkmenistán, kirguizistán, y uzbekistán hasta donde sé). Los dos mayores huyeron, y el menor quedó escondido entre los escombros. Asena, loba a la que la tribu respetaba por ser dueña de la colina cerca de la tribu, crió al hermano menor que era un bebé. Adquirió entonces los rasgos y el liderazgo de un lobo.
Cuando se volvieron adultos y ya habían iniciado su propia tribu tenían el problema de que uno solo debía liderarla. Los dos hermanos oyeron los rumores de que su hermano menor estaba vivo, y fueron a donde vivía la loba. Cuando lo encontraron le abrazaron y lloraron, cuando vieron a Asena, la reverenciaron y le dieron las gracias por cuidar de su hermano menor. Le contaron entonces, que habían reconstruído su tribu y que lo necesitaban a él como líder ya que él tenía las características que un líder necesitaba para que la tribu nunca fuese vencida: las de un lobo.
El hermano menor ya adulto, entre lágrimas se negaba porque no quería abandonar a su Madre Asena. Sin embargo de repente la Loba, se pusó detrás de él y con la cabeza le empujó para fuese con sus hermanos, haciéndole entender que él debía ir con ellos. El hermano menor entiende el gesto y decide ir con sus hermanos.
Cuando por fín parten del lugar, como cuando eran pequeños y la tribu admiraba a la loba ahuyando esta se postra en la cima de la colina y ahuya. Siendo respondido por los hermanos que ahuyaban con júbilo porque los turcos, ahora hijos de una loba no iban a temerle a ninguna otra tribu.

Esto explica mucho de los turcos y me parece muy interesante, Asia Central era un lugar hostil y debían optar por tener una mentalidad de supervivencia basado en convencerse de que al tener un origen tan difícil, ese origen es lo que los hace más fuertes que los demás. Y lo hemos visto a lo largo de la historia. Desde las invasiones de mongoles, la conversión al islam y posterior dominación del mundo islámico, la expansión de el Imperio Otomano, e incluso hoy la reaparición de la importancia de turquía en el plano geopolítico del medio oriente en su invasión a Siria. Los turcos están convencidos de que están hechos para dejar huella.

Todo bien con la historia hasta que llegaste al final. Te saltaste la importancia e influencia del imperio cristiano Bizantino, amigo. Y la resistencia de los cristianos turcos a los invasores. Asimismo, ¿estar orgulloso que los turcos hayan hasta la fecha invadan otros pueblos como a los armenios o kurdos o siríacos? No me parece orgulloso, ni a su población. In addition, many of our cultural elements (particularly cultural elements based on our pre-Islamic period) seem to be similar or same (including Tarkan, the title of the last rulers of Etruscian origin). The wolf symbol in Rome is from Etruscs. The story of Romus and Romulus is actually the Latinized version of the establishment of Rome. The original story is thought to have been taken from Etruscs. So it is very likely that Turks and Etruscians are related.
2-The name of the eastern place where Odin came was Turkkland. In addition, the symbols of the Runic script used by the Scandinavians before Christianity are almost the same as the symbols of the Göktürk alphabet (the first Turkish state whose name included "Turk" word directly) . It is likely that the items related to the wolfin Scandinavian mythology were caused by a direct relationship with it an effect of the Turks.

Köpekler kurtlardan gelmedir. Insanlar kurtlardan yakaladıklarını evcilleştirip türleştirmiştir. Yani köpeklerin ataları kurttur.
Yani esir düşmeseydi, bugün köpek diye bişey olmazdı. Envai çeşit köpeklerin; kangalların, dogoların, pitbulların, pino mu ne bilmem nelerin, hadda minnacık süs köpeklerinin bile atası kurttur. Bildiğin yabani vahşi kurtlardır. Bu teori değil kesin, bilimsel bir gerçektir.
Simgemden, avatarımdan da gördüğün üzere kurtları çok çok severim ama senin söylemlerin kurtseverleri rezil eder. Adam bi süs köpeği koyar "aha evimde var bi tane" diye.. Gerek yok bunlara.

1- Etrusklerin en çok Türklerle genetik bağı olduğu İtalyanların yaptığı yaptığı araştırmalarda ortaya çıkmış bir gerçek. Ayrıca birçok kültür öğemiz (özellikle İslam oncesi dönemimize dayanan kültür öğeleri), ortak gibi görünüyor (buna Etrusk kökenli son yöneticilerinin unvanı olan Tarkan da dahil) . Romadaki Kurt Etrusklerden kalma bir sembol. Romus ve Romulus hikayesi de Roma'nın kuruluşunun Latinleştirilmiş halı aslında. Hikayenin aslının Etrusklerden alındığı düşünülüyor. Yani akraba olmamız çok muhtemel.
2-Odin'in geldiği daha doğudaki yerin adı Turkkland. Ayrıca İskandinavların Hristiyanlık öncesi kullandığı Runik yazının sembolleri, Göktürk alfabesinin sembolleriyle hemen hemen aynı. Kurtla alakalı öğelerin doğrudan Türklerle bir ilişkiden kaynaklanmış olması muhtemel.

And about the rest of what you write here, is really easy to think that Turks who came from Mongols a really barbarian race they steal the Myths of civilatations that already excist before them.

For example, Ancient Greece was built on the basis of Cretan/Minoan civilization which is now known to be ethnically connected with the people of Levant and Palestine (Phoenicians) and probably North Africans (like Ancient Egyptians). Greeks came later from North Balkans in two big waves, razed down the cities of indigenious people of Pheloponnes, Attic and some Aegean Islands and took their culture and civilization, even the alphabeth. Apparently you have bias against Turks, as you called them barbarians but also it is Clear that you don't know anything about genetical surveys on Kokturk mummies whose genetical material resembles so much to Etruscians. Think about two different peoples, both of which have similar myths (like a child or children upgrown by a female wolf and guided to the place they would live in the future by her) or titles (Tarkanius, Tarkan) or art and handworks that are so similar and use the same symbols, a non-Indo-European, non-Semitic language and a similar tribal organisation. It should be studied if both ethnicities has a connection or not; this type of studies dont exist because of the bias like yours, so you cant be clear if there is a connection or not. If you are sure, then why you don't support a survey to make this argument scientifically proven? Have a good night.
And a note: Turks don't come from Mongols, in fact if there is something about an origin connection, Mongols seems to be come from Turks and because of their geographical location they contacted the Chinese most (like all nations, this means they are genetically mixed with Chinese yo an extent). Also in history Turkish tribes were mentioned very earlier than Mongols.
You are right! To see more connection about the Etruscans and Turks, you can read the book "Etrüskler Türk İdiler" meaning "Etruscans were Turks" by Adile Ayda.
And can check out the linguist Kamil Kartal.
Unlike western Turcologists, they dont try to make everything IE, or try to make every connection between the Etruscans and Turks IE.
Western Turcologists are doing very wrong things and are coming to very funny conclusions that even with a proper research, you can prove them wrong! We will not let this happen! We wont let them declare everything to be IE! This is not linguistics, what they are trying to do is to try to make themselves seem superior!

I lived a very simple time In Georgia Caucasian Mountains for 2 years, watching wild animals sometimes. U can't monitor wolves every day but once u meet them... Definitely one will be fan of them. They live as clans/families. When they travel u will see a long line the pack order is split into two chains of command, one chain for the male, and one for the female. At the top of each chain is the 'Alpha' animal, and at the lowest of the chain is the 'omega' animal. And traces of the pack in snow... Ahhh. that is beatiful. One line. Strait a line. U'll never see one paw trace out of line. A great and honorable dycipline exist in the pack. Old Turks used to leave fresh food on the remote areas for wolves. The reason was 1-to protect travellers and flocks from wolf attacks by keeping them full. 2-in order not to have to kill them. You're right to say that "it's wrong to give animals (expecially wild ones) mytologic roles. But we may still respect them, right? Many thanks for the video...Good job!

Me parece muy interesante tu comentario sobre como el lobo cambio de ser visto positivamente a tener una connotación negativa en las sociedades europeas, considero (a criterio propio) que además del aspecto religioso también podría estar relacionado el hecho de las distintas invaciones que el imperio otomano efectúo en los reinos cristianos de Europa del este y el miedo que esto plasmo en el inconciente de los europeos. Siempre que entro a un vídeo tuyo aprendo más cosas que ignoraba sobre Turquía. Llamativo como los lobos pasaron a ser en el imaginario del hombre, primeramente a tener estatus de divinidades casi, y reverenciados, a luego ser censurados y perseguidos. Hoy en día los Estados abogan por la conservación de ellos, en el parque Yellowstone en EEUU fueron exterminados durante un tiempo y hace 20 años los reintrodujeron con éxito.
Soy de un país que tiene mucha diversidad de especies pero aquí no tenemos lobos, por eso me llaman mucho la atención! Termino parafraseando una linea que vi el otro día "El León y el Tigre podrán ser los reyes de la selva, pero el Lobo no actúa en el circo"
Me ha encantado ésta última frase que has mencionado porque yo también siento fascinación por los lobos especialmente. Yo soy de una tierra de lobos y como tú dices, ahora se está intentando luchar más por su conservación, pero los ganaderos siempre están en su contra por esa mala fama que aún hoy sigue arrastrando. One more detail : The name of the wolf which feeds Romus and Romulus is Siena. Siena - Asena . Some stories say that Romus and Romulus were kids from Turkish tribes who moved to Rome and found the city. This similar legend and similar name of wolf is interesting in this point of view.

El lobo es mi animal favorito y es verdad que en los cuentos se le da mala reputación pero menos mal que Felix Rodríguez de la fuente recuperó el.concepto.del lobo como aquello que debes respetar pero no temer. wow, es super interesante ver como existen tantas diferencias y similitudes entre paises, continentes, pueblos, etc, pero lo más importante es la historia, sea verdad o no, es muy interesante :) sobre todo por que, como comentas, es algo opuesto a lo que desde pequeños estamos acostumbrados a pensar de los lobos jejeje Saludos!!

Ud como siempre habla de cosas muy interesantes Marina. Es sorprendente en verdad como tantos pueblos de gran importancia en el curso de la historia dicen ser procreados o amanmatados por lobas . Los lobos son animales muy bellos e inteligentes , y es necesario
recordarle a las personas que nuestros perros actuales provienen de ellos de forma original.
En cuanto a la adjudicacion de malos y traicioneros instintos de los seres humanos hacia algunos animales tenemos que referirnos , mal que nos pese , a la defensa psicologica lla mada " proyeccion ". En ella se " proyecta " nuestra propia culpa hacia otros seres o aun
personas para asi sentirnos " mas tranquilos " , y no tener que enfrentar estos , nuestros propios malos pensamientos .

OMG, you are a true Goddess and you are completely right expect one correction alone this is Chinese version of Turk mythology written by Chinese historians while Turkic version is a little different, first written in 7th century by Göktürks (Orkhon inscriptions) and in this version again Turks were being hunted down and only a handful of them were left trying to keep fighting desperately then one day they saw a giant grey wolf (Turkic people consider wolves, eagles etc as holy creatures due to Tengrism) and started to follow her that she led them to a cave deep inside Altai mountains that they followed cave's path and reached a beautiful valley only accessible through the cave so they blockaded the cave and started to live in there isolated and protected from the world for perhaps centuries and became a great tribe again!! Then the grey wolf appeared again on top of one of mountains and when they checked it they found out the mountain was very ore rich that both in Turkic and Chinese versions Turks are always mentioned as great blacksmiths so they started literally smelting down a part of the mountain making weapons and armours that they eventually opened a way and left the valley...

Creo q nunca me había puesto a pensar en ello, en el desprestigio continuado y sutil que se hizo en diversas culturas a los simbolos paganos y que de alguna manera se ha perpetuado hasta nuestros días. Muchas gracias! Me alegro que te gusten mis reflexiones :) Creo que en parte se deben a mis estudios de historia, me han enseñado a analizar detenidamente los "por qués" del pasado ;) De todas formas, la historia de las religiones me interesa mucho!
Las diferentes religiones se sirvieron de las celebraciones y ritos paganos para crear sus festividades , personajes bíblicos a la medida , para que esos pueblos paganos aceptaran mas fácilmente sus domas y creencias, es decir que tienen un origen común pagano.

No sabría decirte si ésa es exactamente la razón, pero tiene sentido. De todas formas, la figura del lobo y del hombre-lobo ha tenido siempre muy mala fama. Quizá todo esté relacionado :) Un saludo!

Me extraña que no hayas hablado nada de los vascones, a pesar de que eres española, pues también el lobo fue un símbolo de suma importancia para ellos. Varios escudos heráldicos del País Vasco llevan un lobo.

Siiiii , me dí cuenta a través de las novelas, yo siento una atracción muy grande desde chiquita por los caballos y eso que una vez uno me tiró al suelo ...muy despacito porque era mansito pero lloré 3 días seguido jajajajaj ...Ahora hace un tiempo (si bien honestamente no le llevo el apunte a ello ni entiendo ) Me enteré que en el hor+oscopo chino soy caballo jijiji...soy caballo de madera ....Abrazosss ...¡¡¡¡Paz y Bien!!!!

En nuestra mitología Guaraní, tenemos algo similar y algo copiado o inducido por la religión, que es "el LUISÔ" o castellanizado LUISON, equivalente al Lobisón de Europa, es el último hijo (el séptimo o sétimo) de la pareja TAÚ y KERANÁ.
