'Engine' is the debut-single from the new Danish alternative rock/metal band The World State.
Composer and lyricist Leif Nielsen has worked on the band's debut-album "Traced through Dust and Time" for over two years, and "Engine" was actually the very first song to be written for the band.
The music for the song is inspired of everything from old westerns, sci-fi, and road-movie soundtracks to classic-rock and metal.
The lyrics for the song however, he wrote all the way back in 1996 and this is no less than the 5th version of the song. It is written as a celebration for the creative mind and the creative artists who wake up, and comes to life every night, and sleep throughout the day. Though somehow the story sounds more like a bleak and dark vampire tale...

Thank you for you patience and enormous support through 2012. We are almost done with the mixing process of our first Ep "Flier". It takes a pretty long time we know, but we want to be sure that we develop the right sound this time, after not being entirely satisfied with the sound/mix on this first release of "Engine" from October!

i used to know Monika until she desired to have a baby and i wasin´t a close enough friend she thought ...damn this shit sucks Sinphonia and Sirenia fit her better
