The Geograph® Britain and Ireland project aims to collect geographically representative photographs and information for every square kilometre of Great Britain and Ireland, and you can be part of it.

Thank you to Geograph for enhancing my retirement years. I have been a member since 2009 and the project has motivated me to walk along paths I would otherwise never have trodden while exploring my region and beyond. Geograph combines some of things I love best - walking, map reading, history and capturing a wide variety of images of this endlessly fascinating group of islands off the coast of Europe.

A great introduction to Geograph which tells it as it is. A great hobby with added fresh air and learning. Thanks for including my Skenfrith picture - it really is that lovely.
