Guys, I wanted to say I'm like 1 or 2 days from purchasing 2005 2,4L or 2008 2,5L TD. The first one has the LSD that kind of stuck like most of these but overall very good shape. The second one is 2x the price of the first one. Inside the car look almost exclusive. Brown leather, rich version with some expensive extras. Even tho a Turbo Diesel it is maintained perfectly and it is a joy to drive. The second one is so neat like I will almost feel sorry for making it hard-core lifted, wheeled, Raptor covered, winched, suspension -ed ;D.
I have owned both. I like the V6 but it was really a headache to work on. the CrDi has more torque, is more economical and is a very tough little engine, but both have to be maintained properly, in particular, the diesel needs new injector rings every 40,000km, cheap diesel will gum up the injectors and factory filter (you can get away with it if you fit an aftermarket 1 micron filter before the factory filter.) Overall I liked the diesel better, but the V6 was faster overtaking on highways, pulling away at the lights etc.
congratulations for reaching 2000 subscribers! Keep it up!
Thank you very much ❤️

Guys, I have a 2003 Kia Sorento EX. What I was wondering is it best to keep the 3.5 liter v6? Or go with 2.5 TD?
the models you mention are not common in our country. So I can't answer you
