Great video Steve, and I agree with everything you are saying about the quality of this tripod, having been sent it recently for review also. I have been buying Neewer accessories for years now, I had no idea that they were in the tripod market. At £200 it's competitive! It has been a tough year for poppies in Sussex!

@@Stainphotography Just wish it had an arca on that neat little head.
Looks like a nice tripod. I usually use a ballhead anyway but not being arca swiss is a pain. I thought it might replace my 3LT Punk Billy but it's only 200g lighter so for around £1 per gram less, I'm not sure it's worth the earache off the missus 😂 One to keep in mind should the need arise though - thanks 🙂

Tripod good but the head not so good --- as you found out the lock / release not good; in the dark its even more of a problem. The way around change the ball head.
I think if you want to keep it light then keep the head if not change to a heavier head ❤️👍
Can you take the middle column out and just put the smaller section on?

is the middle column moving as well in your tripod? i screw it tight but it keeps moving

At first blush, it kinda looks like a low rent version of a Peak Design travel tripod.
It’s definitely got that look
