John Ambrosini, with the troupe, has turned Michael Jackson's Pop/RnB song into a floral bouquet of Organic Real Jazz excellence. How I love the arrangements as well as John's delivery! His altissimo notes are deposited in melodic and harmonic context and not in isolation, merely for the sake of playing overtone notes. Having tried the tune myself on tenor saxophone in Emaj., I found it a bit challenging and cumbersome moving back and forth between palm E3 and F#3; maybe I need to use front E3 and from F# - for that particular chorus phrase. Any suggestions, John? Anyone?
Wyndham, Thank you for your thoughtful comments - so glad you enjoyed the playing and the arrangement…. I don’t believe I can assist with your saxophone technique questions but let me know if anyone assists you! J

Pardon me, sir: it's the great Joel on tenor saxophone; did not recognize him.
