It is good manners to credit the person who actually wrote the song. The 'Gas works croft' has long since been demolished but immortalised in the song if you bother to sing the words that Ewan MacColl wrote.
Unfortunately when asked to do a lesson by someone or band I attempt to help the person out an I dont go into the whole history of the song. This is basic guitar lessons not educational videos A-Z. Though you look like an expert in that field so I am very glad you go in touch. ♥️🤗🎸
Unfortunately it is a C chord that I'm playing there. Not an Fm7, that's why I'm calling out C. The Fm7 sound is much deeper and wouldnt sound correct. The chords are in the description also.
At the start of the tutorial I explain what chords I use. If your struggling to understand the sounds maybe you should play that song with a Fm7 and then a C see which version sounds correct and hopefully you will realise that it's a C chord being played. 🤗🤗🤗
