Wow, Mike ......to see these items back to back is just extraordinary. This one part of your auto collection is HOF itself. Sorry to gush, but just amazing. Those special Perez items are wonderful. My favorite is the autographed 500 homer poster. Thank you so much for sharing. This is the best part of the hobby, to be amazed, educated and delighted!

Hank Greenberg was my grandfathers favorite player. When he passed away I wanted a Greenberg Auto and got a Hall of Fame postcard plaque auto. That year I went to the national and picked up Tom Seaver and Sandy Koufax on the same type of postcard. I am now up to 101 players and 8 managers.

Wow your dad’s baseball is incredible. Getting it from him must make it so special. Every time you show the Upeer Deck heroes it makes me want to collect them. Taking what you can get for Wagner seems like a sound strategy. Want to get one of those Score Dimaggio’s too. Those Pinnacle Dimaggios are beautiful. Your collection is comprehensive. The subject of your Al Simmons auto makes it special. The Cy Young is so pronounced - awesome. Clemente autographs always make me stop and look even though I am not an autograph collector. Really want an Eddie Collin’s card. Ed Barrow is the first guy I don’t know. Will look him up. My nephew (he was 11 at the time) won the Ty Cobb check from Heritage a few years ago at The National. It is really cool because it was made out to cash so signed on front and back. If he ever loses interest I will have to buy it from him because the story and seeing his reaction when he won it means as much to me as the check. Love the Hornsby letter. Those Ron Lewis posters have always been cool. When I was a kid I spent a lot of time staring at these at card shows. I remember thinking how expensive they were and now it would be a bargain. Wow that celebration book is phenomenal. Wow as a Cubs fan I need to get a Great Moments Billy Williams signed. Love your civic luncheon piece - remember seeing it when you showed it before. Agree on no encapsulation on your Cubs program. I have never understood comic book grading because you take a beautiful book and only let you see the cover and the back. Thanks for sharing - really enjoyed seeing the amazing stuff.

I'm gonna live comment this, because I know I'm going to love this video!
-Willie Wells autograph on a card, suhweet.
-I remember that break when you got that Transcendent Koufax, crazy.
-Are you sure there are less signed '52T Fellers than there are non-signed ones? 🤪
-I remember looking at that case of Derek Jeter SP autos in AC, it was crazy to see that many all together. I'd say you don't regret that purchase. Jeter prices are bonkers.
-I'm jealous of that Ki Ki Cuyler. I'm sure it won't be the last. That's a beautiful signature.
-Aaaah that Wagner. You bought it from Bill, at a Yankees game ( I typed that before you said it haha).
-Now we're gonna get into some stuff I really love, Perez Steeles baby! That Greenberg is one of the tough-ish ones for on-card for sure. One I'd really like to have. It looks great!
-Love nickname autographs. Wahoo! "Desist" hahaha
-Speaker, underrated for sure. If you ever upgrade that one, it has custom Perez Steele cut written all over it 🤪
-Bro, you have multiple Mel Otts?!?
-Chuck Klein, not one you see every day for sure.
-That Lazzeri/Gehrig multi-signed piece is so cool.
-Sam Thompson appeared in this video sooner than I thought it would. I cannot understate how jealous I am of that, you know that already. You're Killin' Me Smalls.
-Cy Young, Jackie- the big boys are rollin' now!
    -That's a really bold Clemente.
-Walter Johnson may be my next 'grail' auto target.
-Your Ruth is an incredible example. Never get tired of seeing that one.
-The Ruppert/Barrow check is a really sweet item. That one really feels like a piece of history there.
-Never get tired of seeing autos of my boy Ty Cobb!
-The Dodgers letterhead for the Branch Rickey auto is super cool.
-The letter from the baseball hall of fame?!? I don't ever remember seeing that one, incredible! That's a unique Rogers Hornsby!
-The Ron Lewis 500 HR Club piece was always a dream piece of mine as a kid.
-The Celebration signed pamphlet is pretty insane.
-And then the next book is even more insane haha!! You gotta get it signed by the remaining living guys!
-Okay, you did save some bonkers stuff for the end, that program- sooooo freaking cool. I see why you love it! It has my boy from the Braves too, Kid Nichols!
-aaaaaaaaand I totally forgot about the HOF yearbook. I love that piece.
-I was waiting on that HOF program, always thought it was WILD looking with all those signatures!
Really really enjoyed this video Mike, thanks for putting it together!

I’m semi new to your channel, so I apologize if you’ve already done this, but I think it would be cool to do a video where you talk just about the financial aspect of how your built your collection (as many or few details as you want).
What made you get into this to begin with? Did you create a budget to start pursuing these or was it all random? Did you have a certain stream of income that you put back into cards? Did you have to save up or resell some of these to upgrade?
I jumped into vintage card collecting this year after collecting for years as a kid. And it’d be cool to hear your story so it might help me plan and build mine. I gave myself a budget based off a percentage of my income and then made a list of cards to target and have been having fun pursuing those.

This is my jam! Love autographs, and haven't stopped collecting since I was a teenager.
Index/visiting cards (or 'cuts', as they are often referred to) are comparatively affordable, and are great to display in binders, within a frame, or within books. The options are only limited by your imagination.
Love the 'Babe' Ruth autograph, Mike! Really clear - back when players took pride in their penmanship.
Those signed books and booklets are really something! I can appreciate the effort involved not just in tracking all those autographs down, but in keeping the thing in such great condition - away from the elements, away from blood, sweat, and tears (literally!)! I think you did very well in paying what you did for those two books/booklets. Really clear autographs, which look fantastic in the (mostly) blue Sharpie.
Thoroughly enjoyable viewing! Thanks for sharing them all with us, Mike! 👍

Your Dad’s ball is so great. What’s amazing is that you can actually read virtually every autograph, as opposed to modern players that you’d be lucky to be able to identify one out of 20. In fact that’s the case for all your autographs. I can’t imagine 50 years from now trying to identify modern autos, just wouldn’t mean the same.

This year I got into photography and took so many photos during the Florida Complex League season. I would give a photo to a player and have them sign one for me.
