Weird question!
But Does it unzip all the way? Are you able to open it up like a blanket?

The zipper extends approximately four fifths (4/5) of the way down the side, so the footbox is enclosed permanently. Once could unzip it as far as it goes and use it like a blanket with an enclosed footbox.
