I can’t wait for my first day. It’s been my dream since a little kid to be a locomotive engineer. And now to finally achieve it? My mission is finally complete
Respect to all the Fine Men of the Railroad who do this work to ensure that people and freight arrive at their destinations on time, your work benefits all of us and our country. I can only hope that one day I can join the ranks of you all.
This looks great!! I like that MTA is making more videos about MTA train engineers. Making more videos like this will allow MTA fans to see how the trains are operated. Nice job!!
Thank you to the engineers for the work you do. As a frequent rider, I get to exchange friendly conversation with the conductors but I rarely get to say thank you to the person at the very front. We often take your safety for granted because we know you never take our safety for granted.
Ive been a Metro North employee for 17 years and a locomotive engineer (current position) for 12 years. This is, without a doubt, the best job on the railroad. I'm so grateful to have this wonderful opportunity to work such a unique job.
Hats off to you guys! Always loved trains and still do. Great to have a job with no cubicle and always on the move. If I hadn't fallen in love with airplanes, I like to think I would have wound up in a locomotive cab.
That looks awesome! I am really hoping I can work on the New Haven line specifically between Grand Central and Stamford or between Stamford and New Canaan.
Haha ..my brother Inade in the building. Miss ya bro. Stuff still hasn’t changed on this side of the railroad we still rollin. Glad everything worked out and still working. Let’s get that paper ..IYKYK 🚂🚂🚂🚂
My man had the crispy NY Yankees Subway Series fitted on and a fresh pair of Timbs. I support this message.
As a retired NYCT train operator (motorman), I can vouch for the fact that being in the seat is the best job in the world.

Nice! Hopefully one day I’ll be operating these trains, it’s always been a good dream of mine.
