You can troll with the truth. Trolling is nothing but posting something that will get a reaction out of someone. Wether or not the post a troll makes is truthful or a lie, does not matter as long as it effectively draws a reaction. If I go to a flerfer forum and post a photograph of a curving horizon to get them to respond en masse, that's trolling with the truth. If I post that a diesel car will still be running at 100 years old but an EV will be total loss after 20 and the watermelons get their hammer and sickle panties in a twist, that's trolling with the truth. Trolling has been explained by the most trollworthy forever victims as bullying and always negative, but of course those who will react most violently to being trolled would see it that way. But trolling is much much more simple and can be both negative and positive. Trolling is a art.
It's funny because Matt did come out not too long ago admitting that it was basically sarcasm he don't like it but he don't think it's literally demonic or satanic
It’s an alternative to Hollywood, which has become insufferably woke. Anime is a medium that allows good, adult stories to be told for far less expense than the minimum budget of your typical live action movie. Hellsing Ultimate is my favorite example. N*zis return as Vampires after 7 decades and destroy modern London. Massive explosions, blood everywhere… The special effects cost of making it as a live action film would be prohibitive. But thanks to anime’s existence, we can still watch and appreciate the spectacle made for us at a fraction of the cost of making it a live action film.
@@MelodusDethicus I'm not a sports guy either. I envy folks that have fallen in love with sports. But, like I said, to each his own. I've seen maybe 5 anime movies that I didn't immediately just hate. I can't throw rocks, I'm a giant 40K fanboy.
I do not like anime but I don't think it is evil. Edit: I have bean made aware that Matt Walsh said that as a joke now that people have told me. Thank you for letting me know that.
thinking anime is evil is exactly the same as saying video games are evil. they simply are not they are just forms of media and entertainment. same shit as guns dont kill people, people do.
I’ve watched a couple. East of Eden I think it was? It was recommended to me pretty good, but I still don’t like the style. Good story line though. But, yes, as a movie or TV series, I like live action/ more realistic style. But seeing as story lines in Hollywood have been horrible, I can see the draw of the classic hero’s journey in anime.
I like their preconceived notion of what a gamer is but they always ignore the fact that Henry Cavill is a massive gamer and has been since he was 12 years old. And he makes no apologies for it and he embraces it. Which I absolutely love. But they never point that out because he is the antithesis of what they say a gamer is. Okay end rant.
Right. Cavill is a great looking dude plus he is into athletics, War Hammer, video games and guns and all of that. I love cars, shooting sports, hunting played football and wrestled all through high school, loved video games. I guarantee I don't fit their stereotype. Especially what I looked like in my 20's and I was a big gamer then sometimes spending 12 hours a day playing but also hot AF if I do say so myself.
Yeah, he's on record saying he missed the call giving him the Superman role because he was in raid in World of Warcraft with his friends. I know a lot of girls (and some guys) who would LOVE to know what server and his main's name.
Okay guys, Matt Walsh is not perfect but he is good at pointing out the foolish BS from the left and so I like him. I have no idea what he said about gamers and I really don't care. Personally I don't understand gamers because I suck at video games and always have, in other words I just don't like video games. Bottom line is that I don't have to love everything about a person to like them a lot and have respect for them like I do for Matt Walsh.
I watch quite a bit of anime, but if you're saying that there isn't a TON of demonic elements then you just aren't being honest with yourself. Now you can argue that for Japan that is mostly just an aesthetic that they like, but for anyone seeing it from outside of the culture of fandoms, will see tons of demonic imagery and tons of sexualization of children and come to an obvious conclusion.
This video and comment section IS what freedom looks like. We can agree with eachother on things, we can disagree on other things...and also be cool with eachother.
i find it morbidly amusing that in his famous i have a dream speech, MLK said "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." and look what his so-called followers are doing now, judging people on the color of their skin, not the content of their character

It's college education you - expletive deleted- and the tenured bubble comrades force choking "critical thinking" out of their padawans. Gotta be circling the drain, pearl harbor, 9/11, biblical to get people to react.
You know that 99% of college students aren't like what you're being shown on Walsh, Kirk, Crowder, or Shapiro's videos, don't you? Seems your views of college and college kids come directly from them. Professors have better things to do with their lives than what you think they do.
@@chethammer The results of educators stands upon it's own merits. I acknowledge exceptions to the rule and that a portion of higher education retains it's merit. However I remain unconvinced that vast majority of graduates posses critical thinking or a true inner monologue instead blindly follow emotional statements without attempting an intellectual exploration of the matter. There is indeed value in higher education, but only if the lens of modern bias is extracted and the search for someone to blame ends. Most souls seem lost and in search of something to believe.
I love Matt Walsh, but his worst take on gaming and pop culture was that collecting action figures and toys was childish and men should leave that behind. I collect all kinds of things and I lead a very successful adulting life. That was a bad take. I'm an OG nerd who began playing D&D in 1976.
Being nerds is not an argument against the idea that some games and manga are demonic (or portray what people who hate Christianity endorse). Liking something doesn’t mean it is correct.
I agree with Gary, we see eye to eye on a lot but I don't agree with everything anyone says. Am I Racist is a great movie, just saw Terrifier 3 last night and it was awesome, I wouldn't pay to watch Joker 2 (not sure if ill even watch it free). Love you guys, I will continue to fight from here as my anonymity is required.
I’m not sure of what Matt Walsh thinks of video games, but his boss Ben Shapiro thinks violent video games are immoral and does not allow his children to play them.
I am closer to God now that I don't watch anime anymore than when I watched anime (I used to watch 1-2 hours a day). I'm not saying it's demonic, but a lot of the themes don't draw you nearer to absolute truth or love of the Father. Like anything, it can be a distraction (what's good v. what's best). The poison is in the dose.
Matt Walsh's opinion on gamers reminds me of Ben Shapiro's cringe take on rap music from years ago. He essentially says it's not real music because it doesn't sound anything like classical and always talks about superficial subjects like money and women, which fundamentally misunderstands what hip hop is and how much it's evolved since the 2000s. People need to stick to their lanes for a reason
Yea i live out in the middle of bum fuck no-where, we dont judge people based on there color or whatever the fuck there wearin we just judge em based on how hard they work lol thats the only thing we got round here to get someones character, if you aint workin you aint someone we want around here.
Huzzah! About to be 40 and currently playing Enlisted, and got done with a round on Throne and Liberty. Lawls.. Nerdrotic has it right on the gamer train. Could not be assed about shit for movies because most of them sucked, just rewritten movies with a worse script and garbage acting? No thanks, I'd rather pay and indie company (or some triple-A failure of a company) for at least 100-200 hours of gameplay. That's far more than I'd get out of an hour movie I'd barely make it through.
Well to be fair there are hundreds of anime and mangas where the demon lord or the devil is the mc and romantic lead and God and angels are the evil antagonists.
No offense but UA-cam isn't the only place this is viewed. This shit is on several platforms and has millions of views. This is a clip. So your view on this is the most infantile take one could have.

Funny how in these areas it's always about good and evil! As a nerd I realize this and don't take ANY of it seriously.
Superbook and Flying House were both biblical anime.
Yes, when Matt called anime "satanic," that was a troll. Don't take the bait like I did originally.
Matt Walsh is the internet's cranky trolling grandpa
Mike Rowe has some nice views on "gamers". I'm a 57yr old guy who digs games but I've also been a concrete construction worker, long haul Truck driver, Far and Ranch hand, and other careers that helped America without sitting at a desk jerkin off gaming as a career
Is it trolling to tell the truth? I would think it is exposing the hypocrisy.
Lol. People get offended about Matt’s take on gaming and anime. Lol
To each his own, but I will never get some people's obsession with anime.
Massive explosions, blood everywhere…
The special effects cost of making it as a live action film would be prohibitive. But thanks to anime’s existence, we can still watch and appreciate the spectacle made for us at a fraction of the cost of making it a live action film.
I will never get people's obsession with sports. See how it goes both ways? It's just a hobby. Some people like to take things farther than others.
@@MelodusDethicus I'm not a sports guy either. I envy folks that have fallen in love with sports. But, like I said, to each his own. I've seen maybe 5 anime movies that I didn't immediately just hate. I can't throw rocks, I'm a giant 40K fanboy.
It is creepy
Besides the awesome stories and beautiful animation?
I do not like anime but I don't think it is evil.
Edit: I have bean made aware that Matt Walsh said that as a joke now that people have told me. Thank you for letting me know that.
thinking anime is evil is exactly the same as saying video games are evil.
they simply are not they are just forms of media and entertainment.
same shit as guns dont kill people, people do.
Then you hold the exact same opinion as Matt Walsh, but you’re not trolling people because you think it’s funny
He doesn't think anime is evil. He made a joke about it and his lack of knowledge on it. The nerd community proceeded to lose their shit
Neither does Matt Walsh
I like Matt Walsh.
Didn't she preach about reparations and then give the dude like 30 bucks?
While having charged Walsh thousands for the privilege of speaking with her.
Why don't people ever realize when Walsh is joking?
If some guy doesn't like anime or gaming, it doesn't matter to me?
Gary struggling to look at other people, instead of the camera, while talking is an interesting thing to see. Haha!
I would fire the movie theater people trying to disrupt the movie.
Alex Zedra demolishes the ugly gamer opinion!!
That's a man, dude 😂
@@darksu6947 Who's a man? I was referring to the aforementioned (at 1:58) Twitter opinion that all gamers are the most unattractive persons.
I legitimately heard that as lions do not concern themselves with the opinion of the forest
Red dead redemption 1 just announced release on steam
i work at a movie theater and this is very much accurate
I like the part about the Moana problem, so crazy
I watch quite a bit of anime, but if you're saying that there isn't a TON of demonic elements then you just aren't being honest with yourself. Now you can argue that for Japan that is mostly just an aesthetic that they like, but for anyone seeing it from outside of the culture of fandoms, will see tons of demonic imagery and tons of sexualization of children and come to an obvious conclusion.
it is all fiction at the end of the day, my man.
I've been so weirded out by people claiming sexualized children. Like, bro you are looking for this stuff.
Everyone is a little racist. You can’t tell me everyone never has racist thoughts or opinions. Doesn’t mean people will act on it.
A lot of matt's takes are plain idiotic especially about games and anime those are straight up proof that he has no fun in his life.
But this movie hit the nail on the head.
AGREE 👍👍
@@erikkusters378 Eh, I'm sure he has fun. He's just not a fan of the internet, internet culture, or various subcultures. He's an old fuddy-duddy guy that prefers doing actual things outside. I can kind of respect that tbh
There is plenty of fun to be had in life without inventions of the last 50 years.
@@diabolicalfox yeah of course you can have fun outside I play Baseball myself for the past 20 years but he just comes over as an old boomer saying ''those dam kids with their dam phones having fun with games and shit how dare they''.
All forms of fun are valid if they don't harm anyone. His mindset is just a net negative and doesn't add anything.
Touching grass and touching keyboards are both fine some just prefer one or the other and discrediting one or the other is just boomer behaviour.
You know what Matt Walsh' kind of fun is? Trolling people by stating that anime and video games are demonic.
It was a troll and you're falling for it.
anyone who takes everything Matt Walsh says (especially around popular things) is being taken for a fool. He clearly doesn't believe all anime is satanic or that all videogames are bad. He's always deadpan to screw with his critics and he plays the role beautifully.
within the first 2 minutes of the clip, amen nerdrotic! I'm a big strategy gamer and enjoy binging anime while I paint battletech mechs. my more liberal friends agree with me to leave politics alone to enjoy pathfinder and other RPG's together. I love some of the stuff matt walsh makes, so it makes me chuckle that he would view my hobbies as satanic
The AMC near me keeps stringing me along saying to check for showtimes "next week". Mmmm. Sure. IDK how to call them on it but I'd say self appointed "do gooders" are doing their best to suppress it.
Nerdrotic on unsub? How did i miss this?
First, I admit to being older than dirt, but younger than the sun and started out as a normie. Second, I turned 18 in basic, 19 in the Nam, so there is that. Now that said, what does it say about our average citizen that it requires the amount of losses we suffered from internal sources for normal people to get it?
@@chethammer You literally don't know wtf you are talking about. I live near no less than five college campuses, these kids are exactly like this.
Imagine being the guy who says Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Mortal Kombat, Persona, Final Fantasy ect. Arent demonic. They are 100% demonic, and thats okay
Derp! 🤓🤓🤓🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
I love Matt Walsh, but his worst take on gaming and pop culture was that collecting action figures and toys was childish and men should leave that behind. I collect all kinds of things and I lead a very successful adulting life. That was a bad take. I'm an OG nerd who began playing D&D in 1976.
Brandon I did the same thing in red dead 2. I played a few missions then didn’t play for several years. just finished a few weeks ago
Being nerds is not an argument against the idea that some games and manga are demonic (or portray what people who hate Christianity endorse). Liking something doesn’t mean it is correct.
I have had my PS5 since it came out and I've only played two games and maybe 10 hrs total.
7:25 Robin Diangelo
Hi, I’m just here because UA-cam wants me to yell at Cody. Boo. There, i quit!
He does have bad takes on anime and gaming but he's pretty spot on everything else.
Hi Gary!
Does this collab mean we can start shooting for the stars?
I actually miss the days when it was a badge of dishonor and mockery to be a gamer
I hate the culture that surrounds the word sue, but I'm pretty certain that tampering with the film's showing is pretty illegal...
Wait nerdrotic, Brandon/donut AND meat cannon are all in the same UA-cam universe?
dude cares more about some nerd comments than some actual substance... no wonder walsh talks s hit
What?
I’m not sure of what Matt Walsh thinks of video games, but his boss Ben Shapiro thinks violent video games are immoral and does not allow his children to play them.
It's a troll guys. If you listened to his other stuff you would know he's just trolling
Top tier movie
I am closer to God now that I don't watch anime anymore than when I watched anime (I used to watch 1-2 hours a day).
I'm not saying it's demonic, but a lot of the themes don't draw you nearer to absolute truth or love of the Father. Like anything, it can be a distraction (what's good v. what's best).
The poison is in the dose.
Matt Walsh's "All Anime is demonic." Coment was most definitely a joke. Does he genuinely dislike it? I think so.
Can’t get past St Denis. Love the game but I always stop playing there.
Yall should have had ActMan on THIS episode. He thinks woke people dont exist.
Donut doesn't comment in the nerd talk.
He doesn't comment on basically anything in any video.
5:30 Ibrahim X Kendi
I lost the game
Donut realises he is on a podcast right?
Wrt gaming, just look at how many games have sold on Steam. Currently over 400 million. That's a sh*t load of gamers out there.
He admitted he trolls with his weird opinions of things like anime is satanic. It gets the clicks.
Matt has changed his stance on a recent backstage
First? Idk, love the podcast!!
🍪
What about the rest of us, stuck in assanine 3rd world countries, when do we get the chance to watch the movie?
Dude on the far left never says anything lol
Is Matt Walsh seated there????
Matt Walsh has some pretty shit takes about a few things but he was on the money with both of his movies.
It's cute this guy thinks Gamers aren't as gay as they are
Nice try bot. You only think this because they implemented AI chat bans. 97% of gamers are straight.
That is really not a guy you should look up to
Well to be fair there are hundreds of anime and mangas where the demon lord or the devil is the mc and romantic lead and God and angels are the evil antagonists.
6,666 views. The end is near fellas.
I sure hope so!
No offense but UA-cam isn't the only place this is viewed. This shit is on several platforms and has millions of views. This is a clip. So your view on this is the most infantile take one could have.
@@mikewlazlinski4309 woosh.
Here’s the joke
Here’s your head
“I can’t remember cause I’m getting old”…actually you can’t remember because of what you DID when you were young. Now that you are “older” it is manifesting. Congratulations you have arrived…I forget where, but you are here. Good job.
Nerdrotic joining Pepper box seems off-brand at first
It’s about freedom, then content. I think it’ll be a great addition.
Full disclosure, I’m not a pepperbox subscriber.
Someone needs to tell Walsh that calling things like Pokémon "demonic" was what made the right look comically unhinged and played a large part of seeing the culture swing to the left. It'll happen again I that the silly hill he wants to die on.
He doesn't want to die on it but he'll make fun of people from it.
Yeah, we all get he doesn't like our hobbies. Oh well that shit is why the left is full of children who don't get jokes.
