IMHO: WOW!!!!! THESE MARIONETTES ARE SO DANG LIFELIKE!!!!!! THEY'RE ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING TO WATCH!!!!! BRAVO!!!!!! THE BEST OF THE '60'S!!!!! => JUST AMAZING!!!!
It’s a good thing Cliff Richard and The Shadows’ appearance was in this dream sequence only, otherwise it’d make no sense for any of them to be alive when Thunderbirds is set a CENTURY ahead of when the film came out and when the group were active.
@@TheSmart-CasualGamer I can’t believe the ‘junior’ part went over my head! But yeah, they might as well have not even bothered if they wouldn’t do the same for The Shadows. Also, now that I think about it, look at how young Cliff Richard is here in the year 2066 - it looks like he’s meant to look the same age as he was in 1966; 25 turning 26 in October. That means that if he’s actually meant to be Cliff Richard Junior, his father would’ve had to conceive at nearly a hundred years old! All the more reason they shouldn’t have even bothered.
If you don't stop making me lose face I will have you put up there in space So, just do what I'm a-telling you, 'cos I've got friends, baby listen to me....
Why do I always feel that there’s a link to Captain Scarlet in the form of hint of what’s next in Supermarionation with the “Mars will go to war” line? Hope I’m not the only one.😂
That's Cliff Richard Jr there, but it's the _original_ Shadows. "Thunderbirds Are Go!" is set in the year 2066, so that means that Hank Marvin (green shirt, glasses, on guitar at front right at the start) is 125 years old. And they say Cliff Snr looks good for his age! PS Cliff Jr has friends, a line that always struck me as sinister. Friends in the Mob, probably. Cheat on Cliff's son at your peril, boys!
Surely they're The Shadows, Junior, aren't they? The optimism of the 1960s! Cliff Richard Jr.? Really? I know it's only Alan Tracy's dream, but just how did they work *that* particular miracle?
Wish they would have given some credit to the Shadows and introduced as Cliff Richards jr and the shadows. Also wonder what happened to the the puppets.
"Mars will go to war" Yeah, these lyrics mean the male sex, but who'd'a thought Mars, the planet, would be waging war with Earth in _Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons?!_
@@josephhughes1498 I hate it when people try to rewrite history. For good or bad the song does show what people thought acceptable at that time. Here in Oklahoma is a perfect example. There was a brutal, brutal attack and mass murder in Tulsa Oklahoma it totally destroyed part of the city nicknamed Black Wallstreet multigenerational families wiped out. And do you called Oklahoma history called this event? The Tulsa Riots. It took until 2020 for Government and Historians to call it what it was the Tulsa Massacre. And the reason it took so long ? At first it was called a Riot so white insurance companies wouldn't have to pay black business owners and survivors. Later local government didn't want Tulsa seen in a "bad light" so it was swept under the rug. Just because history is uncomfortable sometimes. And history is everywhere. Even in a Thunderbirds movie. Keep the song in but use it to have honest conversation about how things have changed and how things like the Song are not considered normal but at that time were. You can change people's minds by talking about it not by ignoring it and editing out what is uncomfortable.
@@elizabethkizzar5489 Yeah I think it should be kept in too because I actually really like the song despite its message, but I think that even at the time it was crazy to have that song in a thunderbirds film, so I understand why they didn’t want to include it.
@HughieDixon Well if Ricky Martin did why can't he they both started very young and they are both good looking.. I agree with you 100 % i don't believe at this stage in the game that it would matter one way or another..After being in the industry over 50 years who would care anyway..
How did this song make it into a kid's movie? It's got to be one of the creepiest songs I've ever heard. "Stay with me or by buddies will shoot you." yeah, way to promote abusive relationships.
If you actually listen to the lyrics, it's actually pretty threatening Can't believe this was actually for children's ears, and I'm far from woke. No wonder women get abused. Apart from that, the puppetry is of course hilarious and I loved Thunderbirds as a kid of the 70s.
I was listening to it just now. It kind of feels like a foreshadowing of what comes next, and all the opportunities Alan has missed out on with Penelope before that his brothers have enjoyed. All because he is younger.
This song's so underrated for one written for a film's soundtrack.
Why is this never played on the radio?
Johnno9989 the whole film is underrated.
So is Thunderbird 6. That airship is frikkin' cool.
Woke up this morning with this in my head... I haven't watched this sequence in 20 years

They aren't just marionettes, they're "Supermarionettes!"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supermarionation
Thunderbirds was a big part of my childhood... this is great !
Shoot upwards Shane Rimmer, you're a star now.
RIP.
This is one of our favourite songs. We really like it so much. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
I loved seeing this in the movie! It was a fun song and a part of a great movie and TV Series!
Saw" TA Go!! " back in the 70s. This is probably the campiest scene, BUT no matter how many times I loop this, I love it!!!
Thanks for the video!
An excellent Cliff Richard and the Shadows track
My favourite part of the thunderbirds movie
Excellent strings on this track.
I love this movie so much
AWESOME!!!! [Cliff Richard,....Hank Marvin,....Lady Penelope, ...etc!] ; D
It’s a good thing Cliff Richard and The Shadows’ appearance was in this dream sequence only, otherwise it’d make no sense for any of them to be alive when Thunderbirds is set a CENTURY ahead of when the film came out and when the group were active.
They do say that this is Cliff Richard Junior.
Not the rest of the shadows though...

@@ryanodonovan9497And this style of music was dated even in 1966!
Cliff Richard and Hank Marvin are both still touring in 2024 and 2025.
Have both Thunderbirds movies on dvd-both are FAB-especially like Cliff jr and The Shadows Shooting Star at the Swinging Star club
They are fully advised and briefed?
This is a part of the movie that I can just never forget "A shooting star will shoot you and Mars will for to war "Mars just explodes*" XD
In spite of its upbeat melody, if you listen to the lyrics, this song is surprisingly violent.
yeah the man in the moon will jump on you. shudder

Time to release this as a chart single in honour of Gerry Anderson. Migh even get Cliff his last no.1
love this :')
just love this
not a big cliff fan but this is a great record!
I just love this animation! Well done. The puppets are pretty close to the originals, aren't they? And on top of all - The Mini-Burns Guitars!!
"It isn't over Allen..."
L.O.V.E F.A.B original,intelligent,interesting,ahead of it's time.T.O.P.S.
I envy my dad for being a child when this show was on... Sure, it's corny, but at least there's Parker.
SO FABBBBBBB Hank said it was a great honor so much smarter back then brilliant things were not like today
Fantasticcccccccccc, ty for sharing. I agree, so brilliant! I just LOVE this. F.A.B.
0:23 just realised that Allen is not smoking the cigar the whole time there just holding it lol love the music
Almost like Gus Waters...
Superb

they play Burns of London guitars!
Attention to detail is what made the Supermarrionation works great and ageless.
Martin Fry now owns the suit!
I feel the same about Cliff...
mind the gap Alan...
"I can't possibly make it!"

maybe those are clones of the shadows
Followed By Greatest Comedian In The World, Joe Piscopo LOL
so cool, a real honest to goodness music video ca 1966 from a movie in Marionation...
Threatening people way into the C21! Honestly!
It took Mars 3 verses to launch that guitar
And then Cliff Richard just stops and dances on it.
Mars: *am I a joke to you?*
😆
That was F.A.B. Lol
why the Hell is that film underrated?
LOL had this on an old EP!
and the Shadows Jr
Wish they would have given some credit to the Shadows and introduced as Cliff Richards jr and the shadows. Also wonder what happened to the the puppets.
When I was little I could never understand why he kept shooting off up to the moon like that. Now I'm grown up, I still don't. :-D
"Mars will go to war"

I watched this before! Funny! But I'd like to watch the real 'Cliff'!
hi cliff richard
Cool
I've watched Thunderbirds are Go recently a couple of times and this song has been edited out.And I can't figure out why?
Not sure if you’re being sarcastic but if not then it’s because the song is basically promoting domestic violence with its lyrics.

Cliff Richard Junior.......Got to be the funniest thing I've heard, Cliff having Children? I'm not sure biology works in Cliff's favour. ;)
Oh, behave!
Especially since this film is set in 2066, and Cliff Jr, is supposed to be 26 years old - meaning Daddy Cliff fathered a child in his early nineties.

And Bob Monkhouse doing the intro.
Creepy Cliff Richard puppet singing a song threatening his partner with assault on a kids' TV show.
Is this song about the Kray twins?
If you were terrified why did you watch the show in the first place?
He seems a tad angry.

I did
Elvis couldn't sung that for the movie
Check out Elvis Presley's version of Old MacDonald, even he hated it
Shouldnt it be cliff richard iv since this was supose to be 100 years into the future
I don’t know. They didn’t know he’d be a Bachelor Boy until his dying day. (See what I did there?)
