I think you would definitely enjoy the new version of this song, seeing as you're looking towards the heavier side of their works. If you just search "Obscure new" you'll find it. There is a great live performance from 2013 at Download festival that you should check out for sure. A&P-Reacts did a reaction of it. I consider it their best performance of this song
Anyway yeah... they have better and newer songs to react to.. but maybe they told u to react to this cause it's one the most fucked up mv of Dir en Grey :3 (yes, they tend to do this kind of stuff with their music videos)
I personally don't follow much of them but I can say that Uroboros/Vinushka/ Hageshisa [...] (it has a long title) / Dead tree are my favorites songs. (I'm more interested in the prog/death metal which is from newer album than the older rock/experimental metal/ visual kei from earlier albums ) so basically I like Dir en Grey from 2011 to now :3
But I'm happy that u liked it :D Hope u like the prog-like stuff too ^^ Also I'm waiting for the react to the bands that i gave u :D really excited! I really like when people react to stuff that not everyone knows, people never expect that some country has good music! I hope in future you will react to Chinese (or generally from asia) bands that I'll suggest :D but for now i'm happy for you to jump into the japanese hype train! ^^
Pretty late in reacting to your reaction, but I am just discovering this band. Outrageous video of course and your flabbergasted reaction fun to see. I prefer the style of music they make nowadays. If you would ever try another song of them, check out Chain repulsion or Uroko. Awesome music.
Is de-glamorizing sex the way they approach the problem of abortion though? Maybe just de-glamorize sex without love. Glamorize strong families. I dunno. Seems like some confusion. A bit of a mess.
Dir En Grey - Unraveling is by far their best work (and its a recent release video). Also Maximum the Hormone - F or Aliens are pretty solid songs, by far a tie with GazettE and Dir En Grey for some of the best metal out of Japan (IMO). Now Chthonic, Chthonic blows them both out the water... Takao, Broken Jade or Supreme pain for the Tyrant are excellent songs for easing into them.
People will keep suggesting gross music videos, but what you should really check out is this live performance: ua-cam.com/video/Byl3ap4C_qM/v-deo.html Great song, pure emotions from the singer... well, emotional enough to make something weird. Just check it out :)
People that requests dir en grey “obscure” just wants to creep you out or see that ugh kind of reaction lol. And im one of them lol. Not sure if these type of genre called visual kei in Japan would get views but some got good views so no idea.
Oh, then you should definitely ignore the shit out of people saying "Vinushka". That's a more artistic song with a mixture with good singing and many different shouts and screams at very high level. That's a vid to see how extremely talented the vocalist is. Dir en grey makes you feel curious or interested even if you don't like them lol. "Different Sense": /watch?v=iN1t92ZgItk (nice and hard with crazy vocal range) "Rasetsukoku live at Wacken": /watch?v=EjHBdHMiZNc (hard and rhythmic) "Zan (new version": /watch?v=GzAnDIGAikA (just heavy) "Uroko": /watch?v=7R2GXuIgswo (lead can sing at even higher pitch besides this work) "Vinushka": /watch?v=NdceudJz8jA (if you're curious. Makes you feel like there's 2 vocalist lol)
This is not NOT the right song to chekc out for dir en grey older song and not how they are today i would check out vinsuka or uruko or utafumi or revlations of mankind
I don’t think that’s the right song to “start off” with though. Dir en grey is an awesome band that makes you understand emotion without having to understand words. They’re going more towards gothic, black metal type of concept in later work. Their song like “Saku” and especially “agitated scream of maggots”? Is more full of energy. But with gore and creepiness.
You really should check out Dir En Grey- Vinushka it's a fuckin 9min long masterpiece. Singers range in that song is out of this world
WhatDo YouCare cheers 👍

It was funny to see your face while reacting, hahaha
*reads the title*
"IS THE KID WITH HIM?"
*watches the thumbnail*
*sees no kid*
*sigh of relief*
THANK GOD.

Not this time lol I was pre warned that it was not intense. I liked it actually, can’t wait to watch another👍

I would recommend The Gazette. An incredible Japanese band. If possible react to their Ugly music
will you try royal pirates dangerous mv? its a bit different.
So here's today's fun fact: this song is about abortion. The whole point of the visuals was to de-glamorize sex.
Getting a little more specific, it's about how overused abortion is in Japan.
Is de-glamorizing sex the way they approach the problem of abortion though? Maybe just de-glamorize sex without love. Glamorize strong families. I dunno. Seems like some confusion. A bit of a mess.
@@darkhorse5232 I think it's trying to show unprotected sex in a dangerous, gross way, since abortion is often used as a birth control in Japan

Would you please listen to my high notes voice(Volume attention).
I think you should react to "Nemuri" by Onmyouza. Or "Born", by D'espairsRay.
+Nekoala thanks
You're welcome. I wanted to recommend you some other Dir en Grey songs, but there's no video for them.
You should react to a song called blah blah blah by SiM. They're another Japanese band
Austin Martinez thank 👍

+Rkdiosmsj Odmcncnsh lol it’s good I like that stuff
Hmm, you’re getting requested with lots of rather less hard songs. Hard and energetic song from dir en grey would be “different sense”. Not Vinushka.
Rkdiosmsj Odmcncnsh I want heavy songs my friend
Oh, then you should definitely ignore the shit out of people saying "Vinushka". That's a more artistic song with a mixture with good singing and many different shouts and screams at very high level. That's a vid to see how extremely talented the vocalist is.
