Mini Keys vs Micro Keys | Korg Minilogue & Korg microKEY 37

- BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE IN A PINCH. Don't settle for smaller keys unless you really have to, I'd say. So why bother? In my limited space, smaller synths are a factor. It's plausible. If you need a small 3-octave midi controller, maybe it's a better option than the Roland A-300 Pro, which has less keys but has a wider footprint. Anyways, for my fingers it's not an issue, these keys.
Has Roland EA7 slim-keys? 13,8 cm? Has Minilogue 13 cm?
We Need Hammer Action Mini Key-beds !!!
That's a revolutionary idea. Even normal sized hammer action for 61-key or less boards would be unique.
no, i want a 76 key hammer action board, but in the Korg Mini type keys. ( not the micro keys, the Mini keys )@@troublesomecorsair
Uh-huh
yeah, i know....that doesn't exist.....it should, is what i mean.@@troublesomecorsair
What about micro keys for small hands? (as in the microkey 49)
These small keyboards can work for anyone, but I find them a slight hindrance when playing with multiple keyboards.
I have large (long) hands by Dutch standards, so prob huge compared to people in many other countries. I'm fine with those in between keys you find on the Keystep, Minilogue and Monologue. The even shorter keys on the Casio's and Microkey are doable but do feel a little cramped. Not necessarily hard to play, but just feels a bit cramped especially when playing chords. I'm fine with it for basses and leads. I think the real problem is thicker fingers. If you have pretty thick fingers you might want to stay away from the small keys.
I almost thought you had a black minilogue. Then I realized you took the face off... Maybe a cool paint job on a faceplate? Hmm...
I think you're on to something there. Just watch out for the lettering.
Does the korg microkey have smaller keys in comparison to the big keyboards?
Yes. The MicroKey more akin to the Yamaha Reface keyboards. Considerably smaller and takes a lot of getting used to.
