  • Learn how to make a keyboard stand built right into a shelf! This is a great solution for a small space or corner nook. Using IKEA desk legs and a few pieces of wood, you can make your own custom keyboard stand. It can work as a stand-alone stand, or incorporated into a shelving unit.

The first one to make me feel confident to build something myself! I have the same problem of space, and I can't drill holes in my rental but this looks like a great solution!

I own a Roland FP-30 and I'm thinking of making a stand for myself. At first I was thinking of cutting a hole for the speakers, but now I'm thinking of just connecting it to external speakers because the FP-30's speakers isn't that great.

The only negative I can see here is the legs. A much broader ‘foot’ would be very helpful. But now I’m going to look into this, as I’m seeking to make something similar.

Beautiful! I just orderd a metal stand and am unhappy with it, so I was looking for alternatives.

    Thanks!
I am looking for a music stand for our Roland A-90. Yours looks nice. Did that come with the piano? Are their built-in attachment spots? Our Roland has no place to attach
    a stand....any tips welcome!

I made it. There aren’t any attachment spots. It sits on the shelf and the trim creates a frame so it doesn’t move. Make sure to cut holes for the speakers.
