The im508 is for people who have a diagnostic tool already but dont have the key coding the need to do advanced key coding procedures. Thank you! I'm only interested in EEPROM I'm a Locksmith and I have the 508 I was just wondering if they are the same in that type of work. Just to be sure the 608 doesn't have more eeprom possibilities than the 508
