May natatago palang gantong gandang sayaw ang Baguio? It’s amazing. Let’s highlight Luzon in Aliwan.
The title of their presentation is "MERCHANTS OF BAGUIO"
(Punta po kayo ng public market ng Baguio mkikita niyo po ung maraming kariton and baskets - kaing na puno ng carrots, brocolli etc n_n)
Their costumes po are cordillera inspired (tapis, accessories, etc)
They do not represent specific culture or tribe po ng cordillera.They only represent what makes Baguio, Baguio.
Steps that were used sa dance are all highland cordillera like
Idudu, manmanok, sakpaya,banga,ragragsakan etc.
Majority of cultural dances presented in cordillera are community dances which in return make it too dangerous to modify. Simple modifications may awake the criticism of the elders.
That may explain their costumes etc, to avoid these.
Strict execution of a cordillera dance is necessary and stupendous.

PS: If you look closely(pero mjo mhirap) the huts (kubo) were based sa authentic na kubo sa cordillera, each part po ng kubo ay my ibig sabhin (lines,patterns etc)
Moreover we do not call tapis and bahag as costumes, we call them attire.
The music was based mainly from "sakpaya" and from a certain book of almost all cordillera music and dances.
