Only thing is that I actually prefer the puffy sleeves due to their connection with Croatian country folklore and how the smoke complimented them! Also loved his rock vocals. After the main performance, he broke them down without music. This song really feels like the winning one!
As you said, some Italian artists are already very famous in Italy, this means that they have a very tight concert tour with dates scheduled at least a year in advance, for this reason they cannot afford to skip them to participate in the pre-parties. Angelina is still an emerging artist even in Italy so she can afford certain freedoms.

I have watched Croatias performance from the preparty so many times since Saturday. I really think he can still win. Switzerland was also amazing, but I'm still not sure if it's going to win yet though.
Fair, but the difference between this year and last year is that there is no clear favourite to win. Last year there was the obvious winner in Loreen, there is no obvious winner this year and I don't think anyone is going to dominate the jury vote like Tatoo did. So I do think the points will be quite spread out with juries this year. Allowing someone like Croatia to swoop in and win by winning the televote. Every year i hope that someone wins who isn't in the front of the odds. This year its different because as a swiss i obviously would love if Nemo wins. 😅 They had some big hits in Swissgerman a while ago but since then i never heard of them anymore. First time listening to the code can be a bit overwhelming but it gets better every time. I hope thats not a problem with the public vote🫣 For some reason i dont really like Italy and Greece but i dont really now why. I just feel like something is missing in the songs. I got winning vibes from Nemo's performance! The confidence on stage, the energy, his "personality" that shines through, good vocals and impressive vocal range. The song is dynamic, original, modernly complex with different genres embedded. It has a constant drive, a flow and is also grand where his voice is allowed to shine. Very artistic. It has the components that I can see in a winning song. Also full of light and positivity. He seem very musically talented, I like his music style and creativity. 😊 (I'm not naming him as my winner, it's a long way off and I have other favourites as well. But he was the winner of the night for me). Iolanda, perhaps the best female singer. Raiven also sang well with her dramatic song. Angelina has the attitude and the vocals which is performed effortlessly. Teya also sang her beautiful song well🌸. Mustii was the lion on stage! 🦁 My Norwegian boys delivered good vocals and interacted with the audience. Switzerland and Italy technically have songs difficult to sing, melodic rhythm and fast rep, Switzerland operatic part, Italy a Cappella piece live, I found them very performing. Greece, another favorite of mine, too bad I didn't see her live, Croatia, very charismatic, weaker technically but enthralling. The former through national bias (probably) and the later because it is just beautiful! Cant see either winning and that's ok. Putting my head over heart, I can't see any country winning both the juries and televote, so have to look for who will do well in both. Honestly it seems like this pre party was an overall success for the artists this year. I heard very little about any artist not being great (a little about Kaleen but other than that, nothing) and it looked like it was a fun time. I'll echo what you've said about a number of these acts, particularly Armenia, it really does feel like it could be the Moldova 2022 of this year and before this pre party, I had Switzerland as a dark horse to win, not sure many see it as a dark horse now 😂, more like a proper contender. I still think Ukraine are ones to watch and it'll be interesting to see the competition between Croatia and The Netherlands once they both perform at pre parties or do their rehearsals. Switzerland was my favourite of the performances I saw I pretty much concur with your top 5.

Angelina is with Latarma management. They are really good management with a team made by only women that cares a lot about their artists. They are the same management as Michielin, Mengoni and Maneskin (the head of latarma is that redheaded curly lady you saw hugging and crying with Victoria and Thomas when they won). They take Esc in big consideration and they always send their artists to preparties. The only time they didn't was last year but just because Mengoni had pre setted concerts the days preparties took place. That's why i routed for Angelina even if it was my second favourite song in Sanremo.For example Annalisa is touring and in April and May she has like a concert a day, she would have shown up in Esc just in the last days and completely exhausted by the tour...same thing happened with Mahmood and Blanco with the results we all know. On the other hand Angelina's tour will start next october and she has only one concert in the middle of April, she said that she started working for Esc the day after she won Sanremo and she had three months to focus on the preparation and promotion.
I'm sorry, i just can't find vibe with Switzerland as much as Belgium, Croatia, Italy or Serbia. I expected Nemo to sing as well as the official music video, so it was really not elevated in Madrid. I did notice the vocals were quite shakey, or maybe thats the way they sing? I could almost swear there were some pre-recorded backing vocals in the opera bits. They remain in my 8th place , as I still think it was great. I do still think that Croatia/ Italy will pass Switzerland in the odds in coming performances. I feel this is a hype in this very moment but will quickly die out. I've followed you for a while, and this is probably the first year we have differences 😂😂 still love you, Shane ❤

Honestly it seems like this pre party was an overall success for the artists this year. I heard very little about any artist not being great (a little about Kaleen but other than that, nothing) and it looked like it was a fun time.
I'll echo what you've said about a number of these acts, particularly Armenia, it really does feel like it could be the Moldova 2022 of this year and before this pre party, I had Switzerland as a dark horse to win, not sure many see it as a dark horse now 😂, more like a proper contender.
I still think Ukraine are ones to watch and it'll be interesting to see the competition between Croatia and The Netherlands once they both perform at pre parties or do their rehearsals.
Switzerland was my favourite of the performances I saw I pretty much concur with your top 5.

Angelina is with Latarma management. They are really good management with a team made by only women that cares a lot about their artists. They are the same management as Michielin, Mengoni and Maneskin (the head of latarma is that redheaded curly lady you saw hugging and crying with Victoria and Thomas when they won). They take Esc in big consideration and they always send their artists to preparties. The only time they didn't was last year but just because Mengoni had pre setted concerts the days preparties took place. That's why i routed for Angelina even if it was my second favourite song in Sanremo.For example Annalisa is touring and in April and May she has like a concert a day, she would have shown up in Esc just in the last days and completely exhausted by the tour...same thing happened with Mahmood and Blanco with the results we all know.
On the other hand Angelina's tour will start next october and she has only one concert in the middle of April, she said that she started working for Esc the day after she won Sanremo and she had three months to focus on the preparation and promotion.

I'm sorry, i just can't find vibe with Switzerland as much as Belgium, Croatia, Italy or Serbia. I expected Nemo to sing as well as the official music video, so it was really not elevated in Madrid. I did notice the vocals were quite shakey, or maybe thats the way they sing? I could almost swear there were some pre-recorded backing vocals in the opera bits. They remain in my 8th place , as I still think it was great. I do still think that Croatia/ Italy will pass Switzerland in the odds in coming performances. I feel this is a hype in this very moment but will quickly die out. I've followed you for a while, and this is probably the first year we have differences 😂😂 still love you, Shane ❤
