I don't think the audience appreciates the piece or the performance enough given the weak applause at the end...If you listen to the canto perpetuo to the end alone, it is not nearly as impactful as when one listens to the whole thing altogether...The context truly makes the "perpetual song" at the end a truly magnificent wonder...It is epic to say the least, in a very humble kind of way...The meaning of this piece is truly universal...It deeply touched me...As I said, the audience was way more conservative with their applause than I would have been...
