We watch as Mashkow tattoos a realism portrait tattoo of Javier Bardem from No Country for Old Men, in this episode of Sessions.

A dramatic crime thriller, Bardem plays a psychopath killer who has a genius nack for cold-blooded murder. Mashkow perfectly captures the haunting appearance of Bardem's character, but he's also added some details that film nerds are sure to appreciate: the chilling word's heard within the first few moments of the movie, "Would you hold still please?" are emblazoned on the illustrated Anton Chigurh's throat.
But this is the brilliance of Mashkow's realism tattoos: visual art meets urban spraypaint poetry in his vividly colored pieces. Based in New York, Mashkow mentions how most people in Russia didn't understand his style and how moving to NYC has given him opportunities to create work he really feels proud of. Although he may have, at some point, thought he would end up as an art teacher...we here at Tattoodo are pretty happy his life took another direction.
