always grass, there's only one gym in my town and sucks, and for almost a year there were no gyms and the day that i came back it feelt like im flying XD
Hell yeah dude! I've been freerunning for 6 years. Started just like you on the trampoline and grass. I lived in Idaho at the time. Lots of snow in the winter but lots of sun in the summer. The closest gym was 3 hours away. About a year after I started freerunning, I moved to Washington state where it rains close to 200 days of the year. Constant rain is never something you want to train in, but something you should. The closest gym was 1 hour away but couldn't afford to consistently go. In 2015, I decided to enlist into the U.S. Army. I am currently stationed in Alaska and have been for 3 years now. The closest gym is 15 minutes from where I live but they do not provide any open gym hours. The next closest gym with open gym sessions is 2 hours away. There's is constantly snow everywhere and rain in the summer, yet I still make due. I've been freerunning for 6 years now and still love the sport and making videos. A gym is not something you need. It's just safer. Throw some old pillows down or something
I actually really appreciated that little talk at the end. For the longest time, I made excuses because I didn't have a gym to train at, didn't know anyone else who tricked, the grass was too dry (xD) etc. Since I got into calisthenics, I have learned to be more innovative with the environment, and seeing what you were able to accomplish with your limitations has really inspired me to apply the same mindset to tricking. I always look forward to watching your videos, keep up the great content \m/
kyle please explain the tiny door on your wall behind you, is it like an en suite type of thing? you need to climb through the hole in the wall every day to take a poop? loll looks kinda like a mirror but i know its a door
Well said bro i dont have a gym and my country dont know about it ...only a few people know about it and me and three other trick on grass and i tricking for almost 3 years and it fun
For full down, I just do a backflip and as soon as I have rotated over my head I drop my shoulder and push the other shoulder round to do the full twist
Well said! I started just like you, on a tramp and on my backyard, I always had to figure out how to learn stuff without all the gym tools and mattresses
I don't have any gym and neither I have mats or trampoline ,I learned all my tricks on grass and sand ,It was difficult but not impossible And that's why you inspire me Kyle 😃
Awesome Kyle Jeep up the great work you inspire me to keep training and I just learned b twist and cork thank you!!! As I said keep up the good work! Much love brother!!!👌
I like your short and I’m looking for it since a long time but don’t find anywhere what is it please ? And I love your videos so much, it’s thank to it that I find my motivation. Sorry for my bad English ❤️
I know my comment has nothing to do with tricking, but I want to be a UFC fighter and I don't have a gym to train, but the advice you said at the end of the video about you have to make do with your surroundings gave me motivation to train at home. I love your channel Kyle #zerogang 🖤💚.
about that last comment, denis franco, the first south american triple cork (and the only south american tricker that has been in adrenaline) ALL HIS STUFF is mainly grass (and the weather in the south of chile its basically rain every day)
Literally had the greatest fear of backflips forever though always thought they were cool. Learned on a friends tramp and then just hucked it on flat. Nose bled but the next try I nailed it 💯
Oki first of all hey every1 seeing the comments and hey plan zero I got a huge problem and I need some help plzz .. I started flips like a year ago and I've mastered all types of front flips and I do it anytime anywhere even from heights.. and I kinda do side flips and mastered the b-twist.. but I just CAN'T GET THE BACKFLIPP.. like srsly sth is wrong with me I've got fear as hell from doing it on ground.. I do it on airtracks and some mattresses and trampolines but I can't get it on ground I'm terrifiedd plzz any1's advice would be aprecciated and thx in advance.
The point is for example i am pretty scared many times and i am not that used to do flips or i am not confident enough to do them outside and twisting is even worse... i am actually pretty lucky and i can go to the Gym for like 1 time a week but i don't know how you just threw it and gave it a shot... the fear of getting injured is too serious
Where do you guys usually train!? Gym, Grass, Trampoline, Ocean?
always grass, there's only one gym in my town and sucks, and for almost a year there were no gyms and the day that i came back it feelt like im flying XD
grass, dirt, I do not have money for gym :(
Grass for life

one of your best videos for sure. Such a sick setup for triple. Really good seeing you getting close to stomping it again after so long.
TRIPLE CORK 😍
Totally agree about the whole stretching philosophy. Injuries suck (if) when they occur.
kyle please explain the tiny door on your wall behind you, is it like an en suite type of thing? you need to climb through the hole in the wall every day to take a poop? loll looks kinda like a mirror but i know its a door

whats the best way to return to flips after an injury?
Carefully and Gradually. Work on stuff that doesn't aggravate your injury too much.
the rant at the end applies to anything, you have to want it!
Where is that gym place where this vid is shot?! Can someone please tell me WHAT this gym is called and WHERE it is please
