I'm so sorry. I had to angst it up after that last episode. I'm just so hurt by all the pain Daisy goes through and how rarely she is shown compassion or comfort after her myriad moments of trauma. (in S4 and S5 especially)
This is to acknowledge how much it meant for Sousa to be that source of encouragement for her here. I didn't need these writers to put me or Daisy through this again but we're here so might as well vid it.

He is a great vibe for Daisy. Different than Ward (toxic relationship) or Lincoln( who fight from his mental health) I love Deke but, his Nana lovely grandson. Even I ship them so bad they can't be together. So I have high hope for Sousa
I can't believe how well Sousa matches Daisy and she matches him. Especially the Daisy that has matured and grown to the woman she is now.
Oh lord this made me cry. This might sound silly but I took a break from aos a couple seasons ago because it hurt to watch daisy go through what she has with (sometimes) little support from her team. Romance or no it's just so nice to see someone care.
I totally understand. S5 was really rough when it came to that. I'm definitely glad to have Sousa join the season partially as her support group. It's been a long time coming for her to have someone squarely in her corner.

why am i watching this a year later, wondering what sort of crack aos put in this ship. i am still obsessed over it.
I still haven't stopped thinking about them either.
As of this posting, only 10 of the final season’s 13 episodes have aired, so I’m not yet certain if Daniel Sousa and Daisy Johnson will indeed become a permanent couple who will get to enjoy a happily-ever-after ending when the mission is over. If they do become a permanent item however, then another song which would be absolutely perfect for a follow-up video would be “Feel the Night” by Baxter Robertson. The reason I think this song would be perfect is because the first verse contains a line which says: “I was kidnapped to another time zone where someone like you could really be.” When recalling how Sousa was in fact literally kidnapped by the team and taken to a future time period, this line perfectly describes his situation. That was from 3x15 "Spacetime" I really wanted to showcase the Malicks (Gideon, Nathaniel, and Hive!Nathaniel) as the villains in this video since Daisy has been targeted/hurt especially by them multiple times over the years.
