Also if you think of the "Join in the black parade." as the singer telling America that he will join in the 'black parade" which can be symbolized as becoming his own nation, as in the singer (Britain, freedom, what ever your preference) is already in the black parade or a part of it.
this is the best part about Hetalia. It's easier to imagine something when you have a specific person or symbol associated with it. With Hetalia, patriotism comes easy, because to us, the countries have faces.

Things like this really make you think of what America has had to go through. He acts like a kid in the anime, but no one who acts like that 24/7 can become a superpower. We have seen he can be intelligent, just he usually doesn't show it. He is more mature than we realize. He had to work so hard to become the nation he is today. Yes, we make fun of him, but we are all proud to be Americans.
I think he's actually very intelligent when it comes to physics, science, literature, and engineering, but he's really terrible at others like world relations and politics, so he just makes up wild presentations to distract from that fact.
America is more cool than I relized. He fits this song well

Not to sound too pro American, but as a country it has fundamentally different roots than almost any other nation.
I like that hetalia seperates The characters from their gov/politics and instead gives them bosses that represent that. I love that each character represents the people of each country ❤

However, from my understanding, the person who created this comment meant that, at the VERY beginning, the British colonies wanted freedom because Britan was treating them poorly. So that's why the two went to war, you know the rest. I think America has changed, mainly doing stuff for money and oil and whatnot. Still, I hope (as an American) that some things will change and our main goal isn't about money or oil. Anyway, I'm done.

I'm an American and honestly I get why people hate us, but they don't need to hate the people. They need to hate the government. Coz honestly, we hate it to. They have screwed up our country. And it's not just our country, it's others to. But like MCR says "We'll carry on" I know how Alfred feels. My personal life sucks so much. I've dealt with 2 divorces, bulleys, almost suicide, and we both still carry on. It feels like he's my anime brother honestly. But, no matter what I will carry on.

I know that feeling too. Well not divorces but really bad break-ups. Also this song I feel describes my family. When one of us dies the whole family(unless in jail) comes to the funeral. We're all sad at the service, but when it's time for the lunchin thing we start telling stories about them. Then we're not so sad anymore. & we party. When It's a holiday or birthday right after a death we bring pics of the recently dead to celebrate with us. I love my family & I would say I love my friends too, But they are family. & I maybe 15 but im not stupid. I know what the governments been doing. & so do my friends. We talk to the 50+ adults & they say their shocked by our knowledge. Then we talk to maybe a 20-32 year old, no idea what we're talking about & says that we're just going through the "hate everything" phase. some never cease to amaze me at how stupid they are.
